Heavenly! Although only stayed for one night whilst visiting the island it was the tranquil peace of calm I needed on my first visit to Mykonos. Although location seems on a map at first seemed to be remote, especially for a solo traveller for less than 24h / it was an absolute blessing and ideal location. I booked a shared transfer from the airport with Hoppa.com - for under ten euros in advance - I was the only passenger booked on my flight with them so they upgraded me and gave me a private limo chauffeur no extra - literally 15 mins and a stunning drive to the hotel - which is located on a hill above Ornos a beautiful place. The hotel is no exception. Sat on the hillside beautiful location above the village which is a total contrast to Mykonos Town and just an absolute treat - with a lovely taverna and a fantastic bakery open late into the night - you must try it! Quiet location lovely pool area and courtyard and room across a few levels - small and intimate place I’m not sure I even saw another guest during my stay, very relaxing! The room allocated was lovely - lots of really useful amenities, lovely toiletries and complimentary bits all high quality , thoughtful items in the room - toothpaste etc. Powerful ac which was well used as it was really hot, super comfy bed, safe, fridge, tastefully decorated and modern style - I just loved the bathroom the style was really cool, cave-like and with a powerful shower - always a winner! The staff, particular the gentleman that checked me in was extremely warm and friendly and extremely helpful in helping me book transport and giving me hints and tips on the best way to maximise my short time in the island. Breakfast was included but I only had time for a coffee but it looked lovely. Didn’t need to worry at all about getting around Mykonos is so small and there are ways 24-7 to get anywhere on the island, particularly into Mykonos town and the airport and seaport. There are regular local buses direct to Mykonos town main bus station the bus stops literally outside the front door - the bus station you can change to the buses to the airport and new ferry port - same bus service. This cost around €2 and were running every hour. I took the very first bus I think was 8am which took around 15 mins to the port - and plenty of time for the first Seajets service to Santorini. Taxis were extortionate and you were looking at around €60 for the incredibly short walkable distances - I took one and instantly regretted it - driver was late and rude to me - which given the price tag compared to the rest of taxis in Greece - made me even more bitter about the price tag - there are other ways to get around. Reception can help you with all of this - they are great - I would 100% recommend - and absolutely love to go back if I ever visited Mykonos again

A very nice quit hotel in Ornos with alot of restaurants close to it and a beach. The hotel is very good but what makes it exceptional is the reception staff that really helped us out with transfers and recommendations on where to go and what to eat

Unfortunately I have to give a poor review for the many issues that my friend and I experienced at this hotel. Firstly the room was tiny, dark and cramped without a balcony. The en-suite shower room was so small you had to stand in the shower to close the toilet door. When we expressed our disappointment in the room we were told that we hadn’t booked a superior room, but room 305 is worse than basic. On four separate occasions there was no water in the room and we had to use bottled drinking water to shower! We have travelled to Greece many times before but never experienced such primitive plumbing. The hot breakfast buffet was cold and we had to ask for the fruit salad to be topped up more than once. The bar area consisted of two chairs and a table in reception. The hotel is advertised as a 4 star boutique hotel which it certainly isn’t and we paid good money for it. On the plus side, the staff were very polite and friendly.
