Forest Dunes Resort

What a dump room 1505!!!!! We arrive for the month. First off we were supposed to stay here for February and March but they screwed up our reservation that we made in February 2024. They booked us a 3 bedroom at the sea watch hotel told us it was an upgrade from here BS. Anyways back to the room, was not ready when we arrive had to wait 2 hours for room cleaning to be done not sure what they cleanned the floors we’re filthy sand everywhere furniture is stained my wife took the cushions coverings and washed them in the machine here because is was discusting. The hot water doesn’t work in one of the showers. Paint is pealing in both bathrooms water stains on closet doors. Furniture is dated and dirty had to cover the couches with blankets from the room which 2 had big stains on them had to wash them. The fridge has about 5 shelves on the door which 2 are broken put a bottle of ketchup on one it fell out of the fridge because it was cracked. This place has gone downhill so much. We have stayed here for more than 10 years I will never come back. The management company California dreaming don’t give a xxxx about the problems here they just Barry their heads in the sand and oh we’re sorry we will have to get with our supervisor and call you back and never hear back have to keep calling. The only thing nice about this room is the view. Will never come back to this place again. The reason they never tell you what room you have before you arrive is they don’t want you to read the reviews. Please check before you book this place or use VRBO the room here have picture and are renovated. Really really disappointed in this place March 2025.
