Good hotel if you're on budget. Food is great. Good for families

I stayed here for 4 nights with my family and it is very close to the railway station which is hardly one km away. The hotel appears big and the room was also spacious with hot water facility 24 hours. The room service was also prompt and each day as and when we asked for room cleaning it was done well. It is a budget hotel but bigger in size. The breakfast menu was very normal and limited and mostly repeated on all days. We were given room no. 2026 which was very silent during the night with no noise from outside and we had a comfortable sleep but the fan was away from the bed and it was also running slow at high speed. Despite no extra bed sought they charged us for the 3rd person and since it was weekend/holidays the room rent was little higher which is 30% more than the reasonable rate. Overall it was a OK stay.

Booking with Rio Meridian Hotel was a disappointing experience. Despite confirming my reservation, they unexpectedly increased the rates upon payment, citing peak time charges of 1700. This felt like a breach of trust and left me feeling cheated. It's important for hotels to be transparent about their pricing policies to avoid such misunderstandings. I hope they improve their communication and clarity for future guests.

I have checked in Rio Meridian, Mysuru for a week on Official work. The staff are very cooperative, friendly, courteous and always ready to help. Few noteworthy names are Revanna in the front desk. Always helpful. Raju from house keeping is very courteous and helpful guy. Keep up the good work. This property is highly recommended. Sanjay Anand SBI

Only unfortunate travellers will be hooked To this hotel. They ruined our tour to Mysore.At 9pm placed order for glasses,snacks,soda,ice etc.Reminded 5- 6 times over next one hour. We had rented 4 rooms Then I cancelled main course food order and ordered from outside. They are thick skinned ,and urgently need training in hospitality.

Though they claim to be a 4* hotel, in reality it is purely a budget hotel. They clearly don't know the meaning of a * hotel rating. It is a reasonably good hotel, but certainly not a 4*. The room was pretty ok, but the bathroom left a lot to be desired. There was no hot/cold mixer on the main wash basin in the bathroom. There was no barrier on the floor for the shower, with the result that the whole floor was wet post a bath. This certainly is not a feature of a 4* hotel. The breakfast was quite good and had good variety on the veg side. On the non-veg side, there was only 1 fixed egg preparation, and nothing else. There was also no live counter for any egg dishes. The only live counter was for Masala dosa. This also can't be considered a feature of a 4* hotel. Overall, a reasonable experience, if you don't have high expectations with their declaration of a 4* rating.

The restaurant food is just awesome..The ***ager mr.prakash takes care of guests very well. Morning breakfast was also very nice..All the staff members are very courteous.Rooms are also very big and spacious.

The hotel is much better and above par compared to the prices. Rooms are good, and spacious. Food is delicious. Location is in the center. Overall a great stay. I would definitely come back here if I visit mysore.

The worst experience that I have in my life in the hotel industry with this Rio meridian hotel..Very poor and bad services especially the front office team Mr. Srivannyan ..Not at all friendly with the travel agency and not recommendable to other agencies too..
