Hotel near to Nagano station, few minutes walk in flat road. Check in via self service machine is so easy. Room was clean with simple amenities n room size quite good. Staff helpful, recommend Japanese restaurants n can converse English. Bed was ok. Can choose additional pillow at lobby as well as other amenities. Could still see sakura blossom mid April in Nagano.

JR長野駅からすぐの場所にあり雨天時は地下通路が使えるので傘いらずです。東急百貨店や駅ビルも隣接、すぐ隣に農協の売店もあり地元のリンゴや野菜を安く変えました。部屋は明るくて広く清潔感があり、駅前にもかかわらず静かで快適でした。朝食が品数が多く味付けもよく美味しくいただきました。全国旅行割の活用でお得に宿泊できましたが、次回も長野での宿泊ならここを選びたいと思います。

Hotel is in midst of renovation and many parts yet to be completed. Once fully done, it will be fantastic . My room looks a bit old , but the size was big to move around in. Facilities were excellent and there is free all you can eat ice cream at lobby . There is also a big onsen , but the water is a bit too hot to sit for long in ! Nevertheless it was nice. Location is about 7 mins walk from train station . Would come back here again if ever in the region.

Sotetsu fresco inn Nagano is located just 5 mins walk from Nagano high speed train station. It is easy to visit tourist places like zenkoji temple (walkable distance) and snow monkey park (take tour bus behind train station). There is a sheltered overhead bridge to the hotel. The hotel is also located near many eating places (local and international ones like Starbucks and KFC) and malls (many of them selling local produce). It’s not hard to find places to eat and shop for all meals.
The service in the hotel is good too. Staff will greet you the moment you enter the lobby and are quick in responding to your request. The toiletries are placed in the lobby and not in the room. Hence you need to take what you need before going into your room.
The room is small and the bed and pillows are soft (does sink in a bit). The window is frosted so you cannot see the outside. You will probably get a decent rest if you are staying just 1 or 2 nights. But for more nights, perhaps the room is a bit too claustrophobic as there is no room to place to place the luggage and any other accessories you may bring along. There are also only a few local channels on TV.
It was cold during winter at about 3 degrees. Thankfully the room and shower heater is effective and comfortable.
Check-in and out is fast as I just need to insert my room card into the machine.
Overall it’s a great experience and you are definitely getting more than the price you paid for.

Very close to Nagano Station. You exit out of the station. Find the overpass that takes you across to Don Quijote Discount Store. There is an escalator that takes you down to the street level. Turn right. You'll walk past the Alpico Bus Ticket Office. This is where you buy the bus tickets to go to the three shrines in Togakushi (bus number 70, approximately one bus per hour). Keep walking until you see a Chinese restaurant. The hotel is the next building. We had the standard twin room. Room size is OK as expected. The decor in our room more than made up for it. That was a really nice surprise. I love Fujisan and wood-block prints and we were going to visit Hokusai Museum in nearby Obuse the next day! Breakfast area is in front of the lifts. The hotel has a business hotel feel to it. I really enjoyed the buffet breakfast (probably my second favourite). Of all the places we stayed in on this trip, this is the only place with noodles, five grain rice and Asian greens. The Asian greens were served at room temperature with some special sauce, not plain. The sweet bread roll was very yummy. And if I remembered correctly, it even had apple cider vinegar! It also seemed that if you needed to, you could take breakfast with you as the hotel provided takeaway containers. The soup was already in takeaway containers. We definitely need more than two nights to explore Nagano!

Great location, super convenient to train station. In addition, there is a nearby 7-11 which allows for quick purchase of essential supplies. The hotel provides washer and dryer for guest to clean their clothes which is good at affordable pricing. Only downside is the room is really small but that is the norm is Tokyo, will get used to it.

ちょっと贅沢な気分で過ごしたくて宿泊しました。 素泊まりだったので評判の食事は体験しませんでしたが、それでも満足できる時間を過ごせました。 要望を伝えたおかげかは分かりませんが上階の部屋へ通していただき、眺めも良くて気持ちよかったです。部屋も広く、連泊して室内で過ごす日があっても良かったなと感じました。 大浴場も、混み具合を見て空いてるタイミングで入ることができたのでリラックスできました。あまり広すぎる感じではないので、利用者が多い時期だと難しいのかもしれませんが… チェックイン時の説明も最低限で簡潔でわかりやすく、紙で持たせてくれるので部屋でゆっくり確認できるのもありがたかったです。 日頃ホテルを利用する機会がない身としては気になるところは特になく、むしろ快適で良い時間を過ごせました。感謝でいっぱいです。 また利用させていただきたいホテルです。

大浴場はあまり大きくありませんが、とても綺麗で良かったです。部屋もまだ新しくとても清潔感があり利用して良かったと思います。またチェックインが遅くなっても非常に良い対応で気持ち良かったですです。
朝ごはんも種類が多く、全種類食べきれない程のボリュームでした。また機会があれば利用したいと思えました。

翌日の朝から用事があった為、前日夜遅くから利用しました。 ごくごく普通のビジネスホテルです。 可もなく不可もなく。 ただ、難点を挙げるとすれば、ベッドサイドにコンセントがないので、普段寝ながらスマホを充電するのはちょっと不便かも。 部屋にテーブルがあり、小さなテレビがあるのでそこで充電はできますが‥‥。 手元に置いてスマホの充電をしたい私にとっては、不便でした。 必要ないと思ったのは、朝食。 今回は、朝食付きのプランでもかなりお安く泊まれたので付けたものの、あのクオリティーで1200円は高すぎ。 もしも朝食をどうしようか悩んでいる方がいるのなら、絶対におすすめしません。 食事自体もお粗末ですが、隣の席との間隔が狭い上、アクリル板などで仕切りがある訳ではないので、混雑している時間帯には気になる距離です。 ビジネスホテルでひとりで利用する方が多く、食事中に会話しない設定なのかもしれませんが、会場も狭いので隣との距離が近すぎて、利用するのを躊躇いました。 部屋にコーヒーを持ち帰れるように紙コップを用意してくれていたのは良かったです。 駐車場は隣の市営駐車場を利用することになっていますが、荷物の多い方などは、駅のデッキと繋がっている3階に駐車した方が便利です。

PPengguna TetamuOur first experience in a ryokan so we had no idea what to expect. The staff were very friendly and answered any queries we had. We were travelling with another couple and we opted for the deluxe room with tatami area but requested western beds as opposed to futons. They were quite hard but that seemed to be the case in all the other places we stayed too so maybe that’s the norm. The bedroom and tatami room were as warm or cool as you decided but the hallway, toilet and shower/wet room had no heating so were pretty chilly. The western rooms, where our friends were, were all warm as recently completed. We opted for both breakfast and dinner for the 3 nights as we weren’t sure what would be in the area. Both meals start and finish early but we had plans for each day so this wasn’t an issue. The food was excellent and plentiful and the serving staff were lovely.

The hotel is walking distance from Nagano Station which is a big plus. You can literally see the hotel from the station and vice versa. Staff are very accommodating, room was nicely prepared and the bed was comfortable. Highly recommended place to stay in Nagano.

WWei LeThis place is ~5mins walk from Zenkoji temple. neighborhood is peaceful at night.
Shoes to be removed outside the accommodation. Rooms are on the 2nd floor so you'll have to carry your luggage up (there's no lift).
Room (with window) is huge. You'll have to head downstairs to use the shared toilet and shared onsen (no toilet inside the room).
We were only allowed 30mins of onsen time for 2 pax - couples weren't allowed to use the onsen concurrently so we had to go one after another (i'm not sure if the instructions got lost in translation..). Felt very rushed so i didnt really get to enjoy the onsen experience, but overall was nice and clean.
Interesting 6.30am tour around the area and within the temple itself, followed by a simple vegetarian breakfast (porridge with omakase-styled sides with miso soup) back at the accommodation. The morning tour lasted from 6.30am - 8.30am.
The accommodation provided a fleece blanket to each pax to bring to Zenkoji temple to keep us warm during the morning praying ceremony. We went on 30 Dec and it was SO COLD.
Overall interesting experience but accommodation price is pretty steep IMO.

The rooms are bigger than we expected and everything we need was there. Bed was comfortable and we slept through well. Plus plus.
Overall, it was a good value, good location and comfortable stay for us.
Will not hesitate to return.

the distance from Nagano station to the hotel is about 10 mins walk, which does not disturb us.
There is a nice restaurant nearby, we have Eel and pork with rice, which is so good.

PPengguna Tetamuコストパフォーマンス高め。泊まるだけなら良いビジネスホテルだと思います。 無料駐車場、アメニティー類もしっかりそろっています。客室は、古さは感じるものの、キレイに掃除が行き届いて、こぎれいな感じです。そして宿泊料金は安め。というか、今回は信州割SPECIAL（全国旅行支援）より、ほぼ宿泊料がかからなかった。 全体としては、コンビニエンスストアも近くにあり、泊まるだけなら良いビジネスホテルだと思います。お勧めします。

ЕЕвгения Ч.Персонал не старается делать отель лучше. Ужасный завтрак, мы пришли в 8:15 и остались только круасаны (зажаренные, твердые). Далее ничего не приносили. Были пустые подносы. Нет горячей воды на завтрак, по этому вы не сможете заварить чай. Предлагается только кофе. Из плюсов только месторасположение. В номере было холодно, но есть кондиционер для обогрева. У туалета холодное сидение, что в Японии редко бывает. Есть шкаф и чайник в номере.

VVacation811917長野駅の善光寺口を出ると道路の向かい側にあります。ホテルは建物が古くて快適とまでは言えませんが、寝るだけなので安ければよい方ならば使い勝手がよいと思います。 【良かったところ】 ・駅に近い。雨でもＪＲ長野駅から長野電鉄改札のある地下を通れば、ほぼ外を通らずにホテルに行ける。 ・フロント横にある自由に取れるアメニティが豊富。パックなどの女性向けアメニティも充実。 ・ホテル1階にファミリーマート、ラーメン屋、2階に居酒屋があり、食事や買い物に便利。 【イマイチなところ】 ・部屋のユニットバス、洗面台の端々に黒カビがあり、神経質な方は気になると思います。 ・部屋の扉がカードキーでなく、普通のカギ。オートロック機能もないので、施錠が手間。 ・エレベーターが狭いので、乗り合わせると確実に密になります。マスク必須です。
