Good hotel overall for a pleasant stay. Near all the food options! Good to stay and visit the attractions in Nagasaki. Will reccomend Gunkanjima (see photo)

It's like looking at Tadao Ando's architecture. Amazing location. Central to attractions. Convenient transportation. Sky view from the 11th floor bathhouse. Unlimited coffee. The architect who designed this building paid attention to every detail. He took into consideration the flow of wind and the direction of light.

We stayed for 3 nights at this new and beautiful hotel. While it was a bit DIY-ish to take whatever the amenities you wanted at the reception area, I found this practical. When we wanted more towels, a receptionist was happy to hand us one as well. I enjoyed the top floor outdoor bath as well as breakfast daily. From TA review, I learnt that the bath could be quite busy. Maybe because we stayed at this Candeo Hotel on weekdays, I never had to feel crumped in the locker area. Breakfast had a variety of local Japanese and western spreads, and it was delicious. The location of the hotel was superb. The major tram stop was within a few minutes on foot. We could walk to Dejima, Megane Bridge, even to the Dutch Slope. There were a plenty of restaurants nearby. The only reason that I could not give 5 stars was that the staff appeared to be distanced. I used to frequently stay in hotels around the world, and I consider receptionists to be the gatekeepers of hotels. With a bit of training, they can smile a little more and perhaps be friendlier. I stayed in 3 more hotels during my recent trip to Japan, and unfortunately, this Candeo Hotel’s receptionists spoke the poorest English, and all of the staff I encountered, including those at breakfast and other areas, looked unhappy.

This hotel is located opposite AMU Plaza Nagasaki and a walking distance from/to Nagasaki station. Due to the peak season, there was not many options to find a good hotel. Frankly speaking, this hotel was a bit old and outdated, but since we only stayed for two nights, we could ignore this matter. Another issue was that the laundry room was packed with people using the machines. They still provided amenities and bottled water in the room. The bed was quite big but not comfy at all. The toilet was pretty tight for a tall person. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. There is a Family Mart and a Yoshinoya store in the neighbourhood.

The onsen is really compatible to onsen resort. Very popular during mornings and late evenings. Some many choices for breakfast. Best amongst similar grades.

Hotel New Nagasaki is situated near to Nagasaki JR Station and right beside AMU Plaza. There is a convenience store next to the hotel and a very delicious izakaya and ramen store! The room that we had chosen was very comfortable, clean and we love the amenities! Hotel service staffs are very accomodating. We had a very pleasant and enjoyable stay.

The winner for this hotel is it's location. Yes it's a couple of stops away from the train/bus station so not necessarily ideal for that but it is super close to a lot of the sightseeing, like Dejima, Chinatown and the harbour area. There is also a tram stop right outside so you can get anywhere really easily. The room itself was pretty small but it has everything you need and they even were able to fit in a desk with a TV for example. Check in was super easy using the self check in machine and staff is there to help you along the way if you're struggling or have any questions. We thought it was a bit expensive for what you get since everything is a little bit dated and the room is on the small side.

My husband and I wanted to celebrate our wedding anniversary in Nagasaki and we decided to stay at Nagasaki Marriott as hotel was newly opened 3 months ago. The hotel located at a good location, next to bus terminal, train station and easy access to tram so we can just go around the city for sightseeing and cultural experience, but the best part was that hotel is next to a shopping mall where you can find many good restaurants and shops including famous local Nagasaki Castela. Our experience staying at Nagasaki Marriott was beyond our expectations. We were so impressed with how well hotel staff were trained at all areas since hotel just opened not long time ago. We really felt like we stepped into Japanese hospitality for both services and mindset of staff who always pay attention to guests from the entrance of the hotel at ground floor before going up to the lobby check-in with warm welcome and big smiles. Each area we experienced was a wonderful one, breakfast area was well set with variety of foods from local products. We very much appreciated staff working hard in kitchen and also M Lounge was our favorite place to relax and enjoy some dinner served and conversations with the staff. We fell into love with this hotel, not only because the modern designed room but also offered the solutions on how guest could enjoy the room during their stay. But most importantly our experience with staff made our stay such a wonderful and special one. Special thanks to: Mr. Yoshimitsu, Executive Assistant Manager, Mr. Antonio, Guest Experience Manager who made sure guests are well taken care. And thank you for training your staff well. Had an excellent stay here for 3 nights. Location is excellent being just across the road from the JR station. I was welcomed from arrival to departure. The room was large and comfortable ad quiet. The breakfast selection was excellent with great staff ( excellent additional benefits for being a HH Diamond member which was greatly appreciated) The executive lounge was excellent with great breakfast offerings, great afternoon snacks and a great evening snack selection ( probably the best selection in a Hilton I have had for years). The fitness centre is great ( did not try the hot baths) and loved the congestion indicator on the tv. The Seven Seas lounge was fantastic for a evening drink before bed with excellent service Nagasaki is a beautiful city to visit and hope to visit and stay at the hilton again soon

The location is 11mins walk to Chinatown and subsequently to the Hamanomachi Arcade shopping street. It is located where Ouracathedral is, and the bus and tram station is just on the opposite street. My friend and I love the hotel concept/design and safe neighborhood. There’s also a vibey cafe at the lobby, which is very popular with the locals and tourists alike. The staff is very friendly and the seamless check in and check out process is worth mentioning. Good user experience overall, even though they don’t clean the room everyday (which means you pay less for the room, and can opt to pay the daily cleaning fees if you’re staying for longer period of time).
