My fiancee and i like this hotel since its clean and the staff are very much accommodating.. Foods are great too... Plus its near in Sm, baywalk downtown church and in port going to manila all in walking distance only..one thing im sure is were going to go back in this hotel again and again... Thank you so much Acacia Hotel for the good accommodation that we experience during our stay there.. Godbless.....................

We spent overnight here and the experience was great especially we have small kids. They had so much fun running and playing around. They did not really enjoyed swimming at that time as it was too windy and they felt cold. The place is perfect especially for the kids, they have plenty of swimming pools and play ground. Acommodation is poor, the price is expensive to what they offered. The room is poorly/cheaply constructed. The door was so noisy (made of galvanized sheet), poor lighting, not properly cleaned and have limited water/hot shower. The shower stops, so be careful not to spent more time showering otherwise you cannot rinse yourself. Restaurant/food: they served the same food from lunch to dinner. Note, the food were there exposed all day, what was left behind from lunch is still served for dinner. NO food safety. They don't do ”made to oder” food except for sandwiches, hamburger or fries. Staff are friendly. Booking experience thru their website was ok. Bit disappointed that they have limited information about their rooms. They only showed limited accommodations on their website, where you are forced to book what is available but when I called them to change the 1 room I booked (as their website only showed one room available) but they had more. Just regret that I did not book over the phone. I thought they are fully booked at that time as they have have only limited rooms available online, but maybe that was their marketing strategy as when we are there, very limited people stayed overnight. So far, our experience was good, happy to see the kids had fun. If you are planning to stay overnight, dont expect a lot on the accomodation and food -these are very basic that caters quantity not quality!

Great relaxing resort, in Sipalay, Philippines. It's quite tucked in, but once you're in this private beach are, you're transported into this colorful, yet peaceful little nook, of a resort. The beaches are soft and easy to walk around. They have restaurant/bar, plenty of games and activities, a chlorine pool, if the ocean isn't your thang, warm & friendly customer service and rooms.that have fun themes! We stayed in ”The Cave” and there was so much detail throughout, that it really felt like you were IN one! Hope you check them out! Such a great resort!

Friend recommended avenue suites. Great staff, but bathroom grout was moldy, shower broken, and combo shampoo and gel. Great location, lots of food options. Would stay again.

I decided to try this hotel again because the location was close to the port. While I found it better than my last visit it was still not on par with the best hotels in Bacolod. The good: - The hotel is clean - being attached to the SM Mall with lots of choices for food and shopping was great - Sleep quality was acceptable - water pressure in the shower was great The bad - breakfast was especially bad. No bacon, no egg station, the only juice was calamari’s- how do you provide a breakfast buffet in a tropical country with no mango or pineapple juice??? The coffee and tea is serve yourself. This simply does not compare to the breakfast buffets at the better hotels in Bacolod . The no longer provide individually bottled water in the room. Instead it’s a large bottle that at least in my room was not marked as filtered, so I went out and bought water. - overall the feel is as though they are trying to get by on the cheap. The low quality desk chair, lack of individuality bottled water, poor quality towels, etc. all lead to this feel It’s not bad, just not worth the price. There are much better options in Bacolod for less money

Great place to stay . Clean comfortable rooms this was my third time staying here.

One goes to a place, with certain expectations, based on what you see in pictures posted in sites and feedback from personal friends who have gone to the place - such was the bases of our decision to book in Nabulao Beach & Dive Resort. The place looked good. The grounds upkeep did not disappoint. The flora was very nice, providing very calming green surroundings. The beach front has lounging chairs - sounds of the wind and the ebbing tide - peace and quiet...i.e. if a big LGU (local government unit) group have not booked the same days you have. Apparently this is a resort popular for conferences and meetings. Major downsides! Be ready to have No Service (globe or smart) and no internet connections in the rooms. Be ready to be disconnected and be off the grid! The resort staff advised us that to be able to be connected to Globe we have to position ourselves in the beachfront. To also have internet, even if you have data, one is also expected to do the same. Apparently, this is a problem of the whole place. Sipalay & Hinobaan are places with very poor internet. Definitely these are not places you can go to for workation! If you are expected to WFA (Work From Anywhere) this is not your go to place. To have cable TV in the rooms, the system is that they put in a ”load” for the use of guests. Unfortunately for us, the cable TV in our room had ”No Load”. The combination of no internet and no cable is not good at all when there is nothing else to do. The pools were not clean. We were told that chemicals for the pool were ordered but have not arrived. The beach is not ”swim-able”! Sand mites in these parts are vicious. Adding to this are the stray dogs, cats, chickens! The staff were very polite and listened to our concerns. However, they seemed not capable to act on some of our concerns immediately - perhaps not empowered enough by management to address guests' complaints. For example, changing our towels which were full of holes and for sure have seen better days. With a little pressure, on our 2nd & last day, they gave us a new room with cable connection and better looking towels. The staff being nice certainly made up for the difficulties experienced. But I still am not changing my Poor Rating.
