The Fifth Avenue Hotel

這裏應該是老酒店完全翻新的。房間非常漂亮，有格調，每一件物品都很講究，衞生間偏小，淋浴水量微小，可能是老的樓改的原因。不過值得一住。晚上樓下的酒吧看上去很不錯。房間的點餐口味很贊！而且快！有個小問題，前台押信用卡時，必須要帶芯片的。

We usually stay uptown, but booked this hotel because it was close to our friends' condo. Firstly, it is gorgeous. We stayed in a mansion suite exactly as pictured on the website. It's Uber in high style, accoutrement, and staffing excellence. We loved the room service (yummy burgers, fries), and quiet comfort. Housekeeping was excellent, the concierge (shout out to Valentina and Ben?), helped us immensely. The neighborhood is architecturally incredible, with restored buildings throughout the region, so walking around is a must. The complimentary guest passes at a nearby gym were appreciated and we used them several times. The only complaint was the signature perfume that is used throughout the hotel. They kindly refrained from using it in our room after the first day, but my husband was constantly grabbing his inhaler when we went in the public spaces. The "signature scent" is a bit of a deal breaker for us, and this saddens me because the there is so much to love about this hotel. Go if perfume is not an issue for you; You won't regret it.

The whole experience is NEXT LEVEL luxury! The rooms and bathrooms were immaculate. The staff was totally on point - professional but welcoming. I had room service every night because of work and it was delicious. The ambiance was chic and cool but in an always been there, heritage sort of vibe.

This was our first time staying at the hotel, and we were very happy with the entire experience. The hotel and restaurant have only been open less than a year, but the original building has a rich history as a gilded age family home, and it shows. The design and decor are stunning and unique, this place is not cold and lifeless. Our room was small-ish, but certainly larger rooms are available, and it certainly made up for it in comfort. Personally, I've never been bothered by a small room anyway, because when I travel, the room is not where I spend the majority of my time. The service: every interaction we had with the staff here was at a level of service that you would expect from a more expensive stay. From the moment we arrived, a butler showed us to our room, and that level of service continued throughout our stay; always professional, always warm and genuine. The food: we ate at Café Carmellini the night of our arrival, and the food and service were both exceptional. The dining room is a charming art deco masterpiece, where most tables are banquettes, which is great for a romantic couples dinner. Breakfast at the Cafe every morning was also outstanding, and we looked forward to it every day. We had drinks at the Portrait Bar a few nights before dinner, and once again service was exceptional, and the cocktails were inspired. They may tell you at check in that it's highly recommended to try the burger at the Portrait Bar, so I tried it, and let me just say it's as good as they say, if not better. It's good enough to make you weep tears of joy. If you live in New York, go there now and try it. If not, get on a plane, then go try it. We absolutely loved our stay here and can't wait to return. The location is great, the property is gorgeous, the rooms are comfortable, the food is outstanding, but the most memorable part has to have been the service. These are people that love the work of providing service at a high level, and it shows. Special mention should go to Kevin, Ignacio, Rebecca and Michael at the restaurant, Ed at the Portrait Bar, but really everyone we met were fantastic, and by the time we left, it felt like we were leaving old friends. We can't wait to see them again.

This was a bespoke experience from the moment we checked in. Everything was unique and tailored to our needs. From the Reception, to our Butler, Don to the host of Café Carmellini, Robert everyone was at the top of their game. We’ll definitely be back

We stayed here for my wife's 50th Birthday. Overall, I was pleased with the hotel, but there were some hiccups which I attribute to growing pains. The hotel is really trying though. We had an issue with communication with the concierge which the staff addressed and apologized for. They took our concerns to heart and sent us a gift which we really appreciated. Our room was on the small size (couldn't fit more than one person in the bathroom at a time) which is surprising for a hotel of this caliber and price. The location is great. The beds are super comfy. The mini bar soft drinks and snacks are complimentary which is always nice. The restaurant and bar at the hotel are very nice (not cheap though, but this is NYC). Overall, I have no regrets staying here but will likely try another hotel for my next trip. I hope the hotel works out their kinks as there is a lot of promise here.

Great experience. Very relaxed feel. Dined at The Portrait Bar and Carmellini for breakfast. Excellent service and food quality. The house car was a nice bonus. Staff was very helpful. Rooms were quiet. Loved the fridge w waters and other drinks and the snacks were good too. We would definitely return!

This hotel was a wondrous gem from the moment we stepped in (even before, since they are extremely responsive and accommodating via e-mail). The room was just amazing — loved the bed, bathroom, complimentary soft drinks and snacks, and the wonderful new Nespresso machine. Big shower. Just lovely! A note on the odor a couple of people complained about: I’m wondering if that is an issue in the older tower if the hotel? We were in the new tower. I did notice a bad rotting kind of smell in the hallway to the restaurant but that was it. Everything else (including the restaurant) was unbelievably clean and wonderful. Great attention to detail and service, including a complimentary bday cake! Loved it and am going back!!
