The hotel was absolutely amazing. The room was very clean and the breakfast was superb. The location was very good. We were very satisfied with everything. One thing that we need to point out was the politeness of one of the receptionists at the hotel. We were not treated politely, which was disappointing considering the standard of the hotel. But everything was nice. I suppose it wasn't directly related to the hotel, but it was just that specific staff member that did not not really meet the standard of an IHG hotel.

Staff on front desk was absolutely lovely, was able to check us in early. Gym was good size, pool was busy as they also sell day passes I think but still plenty space. Room was clean along with the whole hotel. Only complaint was that breakfast was astronomical (£20pp) especially for Newcastle, I would recommend taking the short walk into town for breakfast instead

Absolute scam they charged my card even though I called before the check in time to change the date I will never use this company again and will be using social media on which I have over a million followers to replay the scam. I will also be reporting the fraud to my credit card company.

Lovely hotel very close to the train station. The swimming pool, jacuzzi and steam room were very good. All the facilities were clean and of high standard. We didn't have breakfast there so can't commenet on the food.
