Ulasan Best Western Wakefield Hotel St Pierre

This stay was hindered by the lift being out of order for the 4 days we were there. The room was spotless as usual, we had a room at the rear of the hotel which suited us better it was quieter. There was quite a few inconsiderate guests this visit, it is Christmas so we expected some party goers but noisy good-night and plans made to meet for breakfast from 12.30 through to 4am stopped any hope of sleep. The other three nights were fine as usual. There was also an issue parking due to a Christmas party. Hotel patrons should have priority, perhaps each room having parking allocation would help. We will be staying again in the not to distant future as the location is ideal for us.

Back again for another nights stay. Choose this hotel again as it was just what we needed last time Great customer service on the reception

Vert friendly welcome, the reception area was spotlessly clean. Our room was ready, it was also spotlessly clean and everything I required was at hand. We had a blocked sink on our 2nd day, it was all sorted by the time we returned to our room. The hotel decor is a little dated but that was no matter. We will definitely stay again.

Stayed here before for a special occasion. Room was great. Same again. Food is very nice and reasonably priced. Happy friendly staff. Good ameneties close by. Family friendly as well.

Really enjoyed our stay. The manageress booked us in. Very helpful, booked us a cab. We arrived early, our room wasn't ready which was no problem at all. We were told to come in and relax, take a seat whilst waiting for the taxi. Nice equipped room. Nice and quiet. Good breakfast

Our go-to hotel! Honestly our favourite budget friendly hotel, always super clean, staff super friendly and welcoming and food is always fresh and tasty. Can’t thank the team enough for their continued hospitality and service, we will continue to enjoy our stays in the Best Western branches!

Efficient book in service. Room was basic and adequate. There was no Sunday evening meal. The receptionist told us about the local eating places. Breakfast was good and the staff were helpful and friendly. Checkout was simple, despite the power cut.

Good clean well appointed hotel, in a good location near some good walks. The staff were friendly and helpful who were attentive. A minor issue with the heating was sorted out very quickly Good selection of food for breakfast and the evening meal, which was well cooked.

Really great breakfast service and value for money they keep prices affordable and are so friendly ! Thank you ever so much for the lovely service, would like to return in summer to see the beautiful lake for sure! Room was cleaned immaculately and to a high standard!

Good beds, nice and quiet. So slept well. But the lobby smells of frying- maybe kitchen ventilation not great and no food was being served on my first night which I was only told on arrival. But great value for money, bedrooms, bath etc all good! And very friendly team!

The Hotel St Pierre was in a good location for us and had plenty parking space. Our room was clean and the bed very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast not that great but all in all our stay was good value for money. Close to lake and village with good restaurants. We recommend.

On arrival the first thing you notice is the amount of parking which is available, the building does look a little bit tired from the outside. The person who checked us in was friendly, informative, you have to register your car in the parking device which was no issue. We had a room on the 2nd floor, when we came out the lift, the corridor was very dark and the overall appearance looks a bit outdated. The room itself was clean, bright and well presented, looks like it had been updated recently, the bathroom was fair size however did not match the standard of the bedroom, outdated, chipped flooring and the bath was cracked. Not sure why you would update the room and not the bathroom. Bed was very comfortable and we slept like a log, with being at the front of the hotel there was some road noise, didn’t keep us awake or anything. We ate in the bar the menu is quite restricted however quality and quantity of food was spot on, tasty and good value for the price. Bar has a good selection drinks and again reasonably priced for a hotel. Breakfast was in the bar area ,small selection of continental, you can have something cooked along with some continental. I had an omelette and husband had a cooked breakfast, staff member on breakfast duty was friendly and very helpful even got my husband some fried bread which wasn’t on the menu. Food was tasty and well presented. Location of the hotel is perfect and well situated for walking in the local and surrounding area. For what we paid for the room and breakfast was more than good value, all staff were friendly and attentive which is what you want.

The reception staff were very friendly and the decor and cleanliness of the room were superb. There werec2 things that let it down. However not enough to spoil my stay, one the restaurant wasn't open for dinner and 2 at breakfast the bacon had black bits on it and was very fatty.
