Pacific Resort Rarotonga

整體還算不錯。在拉羅湯加酒店裡麪算是比較好的，衹是房間有點舊了，餐廳早餐的食物挺不錯，還有就是，有很多水上活動就在隔壁。

Just returned from a fabulous family holiday in The Cook Islands. We chose the Pacific due to our previous experience and it didn’t disappoint. The views are amazing and seeing the turtles in the lagoon just outside the hotel was a life long dream. Our stay was great and made extra special by Triza, Ashley, Sisi, Auntie Mona and Pare. All staff there are brilliant, professional and very friendly, but these guys made it extra special. Thank you to you all and all other staff. My son said he felt like he was treated like a king by Triza due to the care and attention shown. I enjoyed the Christmas Day luncheon trying the tropical Christmas Day meal which was excellent and plenty of options for all tastes including vegetarian. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this resort to anyone and will return again when next in the island.

Good rooms, comfortable beds and great food. Fully recommend it. Weather was good and not too windy, Bus went round and round the island and I have run out of things to say so I need to write another 60 words to make the review work properly so you can stop reading it now!

Whilst visiting the Cook Islands recently we visited the Pacific Hotels at both Aikataki and Muri on Rarotonga for dinner. Both places were great for food and the wine served. However, because we weren’t staying at the hotels on both occasions we were given B Grade tables as the nicer tables with the lovely views were apparently set aside in case any hotel guests wanted them. Few of those tables were reserved and ultimately used (by hotel guests or anyone). This is clearly a misplaced policy of the hotel chain that should instead recognise that paying visitors should be respected and appreciated as much as paying guests. Last night the Muri restaurant was only about a third full. Not like the restaurant doesn’t need as much custom as it can attract. Btw this is all meant in a constructive way. Mark

Room smelled musty. Mattress was lumpy and unfortunate. Room tired. Kids loud and breakfast buffet mediocre and many obnoxious families. Not romantic. Maybe great for families? Location not bad, restaurants and night market walkable. Pool was without enough loungers. Little shade on beach and again, loud families made it unpleasant for us.

Thriza, Noel and Joel and Lily ARE AMAZING. They are so accommodating at all times ! Every morning Lily would have my oat milk ready for me and delivered to my table as I am DF. Thriza her customer service is outstanding and she is so accommodating and welcoming to everyone always willing to go the extra mile. We were a group of 15pax and if we wanted drinks at 8pm and the bar was full she would sit us in the restaurant and set up a table for us. Every afternoon Joel and Noel were so helpful and just so kind anything you need they would do for you. All of these guys are incredible and I would give them all jobs in a heartbeat ! You are so lucky to have such hardworking individuals that are such an asset to you’re business .

We found the rooms lovely and clean. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help you. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. The food was great prices a little on the high side. Would thoroughly recommend this resort and would go there again

Although we can not afford to stay here, just like their sister hotel in AITUTAKI, they have excellent resteraunt. Beautifully cooked and presented meals and top end staff. Had one of the best steaks I've ever had her. My wife had the Chef's special sizzling plate, with Parot fish as the main attraction. A superb cheese board rounded off a great night.

We are a Aussie family on our first trip to the Cook Islands, Came to this resort after 5 nights on the other side of the island in a villa. Overall the pacific is very beautiful and we found the staff to be really friendly. We loved the happy hour which had $10 pina coladas, and the free use of kayaks which we used every day. We loved the pool and also the location of pacific was fantastic near a grocery store and the night markets. We found the included basic breakfast to be good mostly, we didn’t rate the plunger coffee and think a coffee machine or some sort of barista would be a much better option for a resort of this calibre and price. We have 8 year old daughters who were hanging out for the kids club but sadly all 3 days we went to use it, there was no other kids there and the 2 staff members we encountered were not very welcoming to my daughters or even able to tell us much about the days schedule etc which seemed very loose so we didn’t use the club at all. I had a facial in the little spa and it was basic, no info given on the products being used but pretty good. We stayed in the premium family room and we really loved this room, which was a great size for family of 4. Only downside was that the walls (or maybe thatched roof?) were not very sound proof which meant we heard the baby in the room next door waking up a couple of times one night, and when the gardeners were cutting down some trees by the car park, it sounded like it was in our room 😵‍💫 the other thing that was slightly annoying was only 1 pre filled bottle of drinking water, and then it was never filled again. For families travelling with children, they should be supplying drinking water at least 2 bottles and every day, that would just be enough for 4 of us to clean our teeth! Yes there are a couple of water filling stations but they are very slow and not convenient to have to leave your room to access. The villa we stayed at on the other side of the island had UV filters so the tap water was drinkable, it was surprising to find that it wasn’t at the pacific resort. Overall just a couple of minor things we thought could be improved on, but we had a wonderful time and can’t wait to come back to Rarotonga again.
