I visited Nizwa in the last week of August 24 with family ( two kids). Basically it was a stop over to our drive to Salalah. I was just trying to book a hotel near the highway to so that we can hot the road early. But when I checked into the hotel I was in for many surprises. First of all we were greeted by a very helpful receptionist. We were checked in to an two bedroom apparent which was very decent. The facilities available were very good and beyond our expectations. The property is quite new and all the facilities available were very good and maintained. Mr Mathur, the owner, who himself happened to be there eagerly helped us understand the city and us travel tips and guided us about the city. We happened to be vegetarian so he even us to the best suited restaurant and personally called up the restaurant owner to take care of us. I would strongly recommend the property. Be it for a family or for business. It's very close to the centre of the city and most amenities are available. The facilities in the hotel are very good and the hotel is quite close to hit the highway to Salahlah. Thanks Mr Anu Mathur for making our stay memorable!!

Al Diyar was booked by my Omani Travel Agent and I'm sure this motivation was ”price”. It is a cheap hotel and you could argue it offers excellent value for money. Its location of about 4km from Nizwa souks, there's nothing in the area, so you will need a car. There is a large pool in the central courtyard. I tried to buy a drink from the restaurant, but they only seem to have juice (obviously no alcohol, but no soft drinks either). I got room 112 on the first floor. It was old style : huge, lots of good space, high ceiling, coffee table, 2 chairs, large desk, etc. I had some trouble working the TV, but a man came up and found me lots of channels, including international ones. The bathroom is small, but fully tiled with walk-in shower next to toilet. Very basic toiletries are provided. Breakfast is in downstairs restaurant and is buffet style, rather basic.

Hospitality Good, amenities good, neat and clean rooms, excellent , helpful and cordial staff, lovely ambience with great view overlooking the Al wadina water park food good, had a cozy and comfortable stay with family . Hope the rooftop pool opens very soon as it was under renovation when we went,so missed the pool experience.

Magnifique hôtel, je recommande. A 15 min du château de Nizwa. Propre, belle piscine et buffet barbuc excellent

من أروع الفنادق واجملها ..من حيث المكان ونظافته وجماله و الديكورات والراحة اللي فيه..و من تعامل طاقم العمل في الفندق خاصه الاخ أسعد اللي كان وياي لحظه بلحظه في الحجوزات وساعدني بكل شي ووصى الكل ماقصر ..وفي الفترة اللي طلع فيها اجازة كان يرد على كل استفساراتي وطول الوقت كان يطمن علي لين ما وصلت الفندق بالسلامه ،،وهناك استقبلنا الاخ سلطان الله يعز قدره وهو ماقصر ابدا كفى ووفى وتعامل معانا بكل حب واحترام وماقصر ابداااا ايضا في حجز الفعاليات لنا وللصغار ،،والاكل لذييييذ طبعا ومتنوع والكل في المطعم بذل جهد كبير في ارضاء الكل …التعامل جميل من الكل والاطفال جدا استمتعوا في الفعاليات ما قعدوا ساعه فاضيين😅😄يعني الفندق كامل متكامل يريحونكم من الصغاريه ،،،والفعاليات جدا متنوعه ومختلفة وخارجة عن المألوف …شكرا للاخت سيتي ماقصرت مع الصغارية….والمكتبه رااائعه جدا وهاديه تقعدون فيها ما تحسون بالوقت وتستمعتون بالقراءة…شكراااااا أليلا
