Vesper Hotel

Always a great choice! They take there time for your check in, while you enjoy the great views with a welcome drink. The personnel is always friendly and professional. Even if something slips, it happens, they are quick to fix it. Rooms are small, but cosy and have different moto‘s. We love that it is a small boutique hotel directly on the waterfront. Not our last visit.

I stayed 2 days and nights for business. The welcome was friendly and very helpful, and the staff are a credit to the hotel. They where always happy to help and very friendly. Location is great for the beach and nature walks, and the hotel has a nice view from the restaurant/bar looking out over the beach and sea. The hotel was quiet at night as the road in front of the hotel is a dead end so there is little to no passing traffic. Food at the hotel was very good, from a continental breakfast and a modern Asian fusion menu at the restaurant at night. The room was comfortable, without being large, but well organized and clean. On reflection I had a nice stay at a very comfortable and relaxing hotel with good staff and location for the beach.

Fantastic place, fantastic people. We had a really nice time here, even we could only stay a night. Nice rooms, great views of the beach and sea, and the interior has a great atmosphere. We can truly recommend this place, go and check it out. Michael

I have stayed at the Vesper three or four times previously, prior to my most recent stay. During these stays, I found this hotel to provide among the best experiences of any hotel where I have stayed anywhere. And I previously gave the Vesper very high praise in a review. I still think it is a very nice hotel, but I think that it has slipped slightly from my previous stays. The main issue was the heat in the room, which did not work. When I discovered that the heat did not work on my first night, the only person to talk to was the night manager, who said he had no idea how the heat worked and that he would make a note of it for the staff who would arrive the next day. In the morning, I spoke to the woman at the desk, and she said she would make sure it was fixed that day. I was gone during the day, and when I returned in the evening, the heat still did not work. So, I talked to a young man who seemed to be working both the bar and the desk, and he came to my room with a woman whom he said knew more about how the heating and A/C operated than he did. The woman tried several things and confirmed that, indeed, the heat in the room did not work. The man ended up bringing a portable heater to my room, which was weak but more or less satisfactory at heating the room. In general, the staff were polite but not friendly, and they did not seem to be as well trained or professional as I had experienced in previous visits. For example, when I checked out, the man at the desk kept calling me "Spiderman" because I was wearing a Spyder brand jacket. Why couldn't he refer to me as Mr. - - -, which would have been more professional? The Vesper tries to be a posh hotel, and in many ways it is, but the untrained/unprofessional staff and the lack of prompt response to a report of non-working heating seem sub-par for a hotel that charges such a high price for its rooms.

A very cozy and wonderfully decorated hotel. Great bar, cool drinks and fantastic food. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff, mostly young people who give the hotel a fresh spirit. It was also fun to talk to the people. We really enjoyed the time and even on a rainy day it was very relaxing to play a game of backgammon in the lounge/bar with a good drink. And not to forget: Great view of the sea!

Not for older couples. Advertised as a Seaview room. No sea view, just a cramped “junior suite” with furniture found on a trash heap. Finally moved us to a real suite that smells of sewage. Forgot to make us a dinner reservation on a holiday Saturday night. Arrogant and stingy staff.

excellent service, good rooms and a very aesthetically pleasing hotel to spend your little get away! Stayed here for two nights, will be coming back during summertime to spend some time at the beach. Definitely recommend staying here when visiting Noordwijk!

Great location. Superb boutique hotel. And an unbelievably fantastic service. They all really bend over backwards to make you feel at home and properly spoiled!. The food they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner are of excellent choice and quality. My wife and I certainly had a great time and for sure will be back again.

Our (deluxe) room and small balcony overlooked beach and open sea, with kite boarders thrashing about. Stylish decor with a personal touch, artistic cocktails and good location to sample expensive dishes from in-house kitchen. Michelin rated restaurants across street & another further down beach for those with an inheritance to spend. Excellent breakfast, with made-to-order menu and nice buffet. Would be a perfect place for an outstanding "go nowhere else" seaside stay if menu had some less expensive items and perhaps a three-piece jazz ensemble a couple nights a week. The dining room would be perfect for small music. With an excellent view, good food (better if restaurant had lower prices), fantastic staff and classy mixologists one could get most anyone to fall in love with you, if you are trying or not. Very large shower and separate tub in our room with a comfortable bed. Membership privileges at nearby health facility with very hot dry sauna, Turkish steam room, pool and more. Love the staff!
