Emerald Noosa

What a great location! Great setup! Everything within mins from our location . I Highly recommend .

Booked a penthouse at the last minute and we were told that the place is undergoing renovation so there would be some disruption and inconvenience. The 2 bedroom penthouse was modern but we have stayed in better. The outlook was just into the resort and straight opposite another unit. The balcony off the living had a couple of chairs to use if you are willing to negotiate the black metal spiral staircase which is at perfect head striking height. One of the dining chairs was torn, a plantation shutter did not shut properly and there was significant dust on light fittings and fans. The shower screen in the ensuite was dirty as was the toilet in the main bathroom and fittings were dusty. The basin in the ensuite did not empty well and soon backed up. The quality of furnishings, although they look OK are uncomfortable and the mattresses hard with protruding spring system (main bedroom). These may seem minor points and for a short stay may be acceptable but the price charged is very high indeed which triggers certain expectations. (Even with a small discount and lunchtime check in). Resort staff were informed of these problems so maintenance can be carried out. Staff were helpful, polite and professional.

The Resort itself if well located on Hastings St and the staff were very pleasant, but there ends the good. For us anyway. We had Unit 15. Ground floor, opposite the pool. Our biggest issues are; Seriously slippery bathroom floors. They are point blank dangerous. Both bathrooms the same. Seemingly everyone that walks past, anytime from 5:30am through to 2am finds it a great place to stop outside the bedroom window and have a conversation or a phone call. (Yes it is a holiday resort and has to be recognised as that. Just saying choose another unit) No dishwasher!!!! Really??? The hole is there but that’s no help. The furniture, especially the old couches are worn out. That sinking feeling! They just feel old and dirty. So overall, avoid #15 and ask a long string of questions before choosing another unit to stay here. Looks like good value for Hastings St but be aware.

Position, position, position. Right in the centre of everything Noosa has to offer. Great premises, all amenities but maintenance and upkeep needs to be improved. Internet is terrible and very unreliable. There is no excuse for this with Starlink now available if the NBN is not up to it. We were able to use 4 and 5G on our phone. Otherwise a great place, quiet, comfortable and good amenities.

Great location, spacious apartment with everything we needed. Easy to access and fantastic service by the team! Loved that we could go for a swim at the beach anc walk 3mins back to the Emerald for a nice hot spa! Surrounded by amazing eating options for every budget.

So much to tell. Where do I start. Firstly they told me the apartment had been newly renovated. It was clearly not the case. I paid to stay 3 and 1/2 weeks and I couldn’t get them clean my bathroom or kitchen. There were no cleaning products for me to even clean my own bathroom or kitchen. They provided me with 1 sachet of dishwashing liquid and one sachet of dishwasher powder. Given I paid $10,000 for my stay there I would have thought they could have supplied a little more. The water temperature was just, just warm enough to shower in with no cold water on at all. Certainly not hot enough to do dishes in. Not even regulation for a kitchen sink as I researched. There was a build up of dust and grime in both bedrooms despite the cleaner once a week vacuuming and changing the linen. They wouldn’t even take out my rubbish. The look of contempt when I came and went was nothing short of rude.

The unit size & bedroom sizes were generous. Super handy location. Walk straight out of reception onto Hastings St. Just a walk across the road to main beach & Surf Club. The resort main areas were neat clean and tidy with tropical water features that create a holiday ambience.

The Emerald is in the perfect location for great walking accessibility to all that Noosa has offer on Hastings Street, main beach & national park. Our 2 bed, 2 bath apartment was nice but really needs an update. Furnishings are well dated & not suited to the apartment. Big cons of our stay were mould on the ceiling above the shower, balcony constantly wet as floor tiling wouldn’t drain (just pooled after rain) and our apartment was above the restaurant Rococo therefore the dining noise + music was constant throughout the night until they close. We have stayed here plenty of times before but the apartment we had this time was disappointing & no opportunity to move being fully booked.

The Emerald Apartments are in a perfect central location in tge heart of Hastings St surrounded by shops, cafes, restaurants and bars and across the road from the beach and surf club. The three bedroom penthouse apartment was amazing - modern & spacious with both indoor and outdoor living areas. The pool & spa were clean and well heated. Highly recommended!
