This hotel was absolutely beautiful. From the stay, to the staff, the brunch, everything was top tier. The location is great, near a lot of restaurants and chill spots with good vibes. Would definitely recommend and we will definitely be returning. We've found a go to spot when staying in Norfolk.

I just returned from a 7 night stay for business. Rooms are well appointed and the beds and bedding are very comfortable. I have stayed at this hotel several times in the past year and the beds are always great. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful. And there is a nice gym. I'd like to thank Breeze for her thoughtful and efficient customer service every morning at breakfast. When I left my credit card at the restaurant on my last day, she ran up 2 flights of stairs to catch me so I wouldn't leave without it. Thanks again!

This hotel was under some renovations. No major issues with that. overall very good place to stay.

Bed frames were dusty when the mattress slide a bit . But the rest was good

In the area often for business, and I used to stay the the HGI on Greenbrier. It became rundown and I started staying here a few years ago. This hotel went downhill fast during Covid. My last stay in Nov 22 will be my last. Kept on coming hoping they would recover, but has not happened....at all. Just one step above pitiful. Hotel (not just the rooms which are never cleaned) seems to be rarely cleaned. Reminds me of a nice home that was turned into a rental property. No one takes care of it any longer. Overall it is just not a good place to stay, and it has fallen so far I think it will take a remodel to come back. At the very least they could upgrade to tv's larger than 42”. If you have a nice big screen to watch at night you are not paying attention to how bad the rest of it is. Kind of a shame because it is very convenient for me. I will say the staff has always been friendly. Sadly there are few nice Hilton branded hotels in this area despite the fact that it is heavily populated.

I recently stayed at this hotel while in Norfolk for work. Not only is the hotel centrally located, it also has tons of places to eat. It was easy to get in and out of the parking garage which was located just right across the little street. My room was big, nice, and clean. The hotel ambiance was nice and I really liked that distinct but lovely Marriott scent at the lobby. The staff was marvelous! I specifically want to mention Kaysha, who checked me in the night of my arrival. Kaysha was super nice, helpful, cheerful, and just overall amazing! She found the best room for me, made sure I had everything I needed. I often stay at the Waterside part of town when I'm on travel in Norfolk but this hotel might be my go-to going forward.

Where to start...we booked a room for 2 adults and 2 children a couple days in advance of our stay directly with Hilton by phone. When we arrived on-site after a 16 hour car ride we were told ”we're not sure how this happened, but we don't have your room”. WHAT? Our confirmation email stated we had reserved a room for that night for 2 queens. The woman at the desk had no viable options except if the 4 of us slept together in a king bed. Instead of trying to help us, loyal Hilton Rewards customers, find a solution or even another nearby Hilton property to stay at, she told us to go outside and call some other hotels or walk next door. Having no other options that's what we did, and found the Comfort Inn nearby with helpful staff and a cheaper rate. And complimentary breakfast. I was beyond disappointed, not only with the fact that our reservation was not honored, but also with the poor treatment and lack of assistance by the front desk. I have never experienced this at any other Hilton property. I would never stay here again on principal. To add salt to the wound, we contacted Hilton, waited on hold, and finally spoke to a representative and opened a case #. We were supposed to be contacted within 48 hours but alas, 8 days later we had to call back and again wait on hold for another 30+ minutes. At this point we were told it was OUR fault that our reservation was given away because we arrived late. This was never communicated when we made the reservation, on the confirmation email, OR when we were turned away at the reception desk. Plus, in 10 years and dozens of reservations, (including one 7 days prior in Savannah GA) this never came up. In short...I would recommend finding a different hotel. As a result of the total lack of customer service in this instance on behalf of this property and Hilton in general, I will be staying elswhere from now on.
