Wow! Wow! Wow! Thats what we can truly say about Doubletree! Nithesh, Syantika & Shivram the 3 of them really made our stay Great and Wonderful! They deserve the recognition for their service. The night we arrived, we were welcomed by Nithesh at the reception. The check in was quick and Nithesh followed us all the way to our room giving us information on the bfast, facilities, f&b and other details that we needed to know! Great Service, Nithesh! At the cafe during bfast, we were served by Shivram. He made sure we did not miss a thing! Shivram, we were looking out for you over the next few days, but maybe you were on another shift. Great Service, Shivram! Last but not least, Syantika! Although you are a newbie, you did not seem like a newbie at all! Your charm and must-do attitude, awesome! Both my wife and me felt, that your truthfulness in attending to a query that we asked you, and getting an almost immediate response, just speaks a thousand words! Keep up your good work and you will go a long way! Thank you also to the ***agement and team of Doubletree Goa!

Stay with a family of 3 the hotel is at prime location of panjim, walkable distance to ritz classic, godinhos, kokni canteen etc and all of the casinos like deltin, big daddy, majestic pride and few others. Food is good, we utilised only their breakfast as we had travel-led to visit the local restaurants and casinos breakfast has good options, we had parathas, boiled eggs, masala omelette, idle sambhar chutney toast bread with butter/jam with tea and coffee service was great and staff was helpful. Recommended for family.

Very joyful and satisfied family stay, checking most expectations positively, only suggestion to improve impact would be greater attention to details. Happy enough to extend stay after feeling satisfied supportive desk and hotel staff and good variety in breakfast, restaurant food quality/taste very good though more local/goan/konkan options would be appreciated - good south/north indian options; rooms-toilets-baths clean and spacious with relevant amenities. Could enhance service with more consistency and attention to details specifically housekeeping - no significant complaint and the team resolved on call: old bottle in room fridge, missing feet-towel outside bath, 1 instead of 2 soap bars, less milk creamer, etc. - relatively insignificant grindings but the difference between good and excellent. For anyone hoping to book, would definitely recommend with a suggestion to always use the entry road by the mandir near the highway signal instead of the entry road by the highway church which makes navigation a bit long and confusing.

We had an excellent experience staying in the hotel. It felt as comfortable as home. We looked forward to coming back to the hotel room and relaxing after hectic day trips outside. The reception decor is beautiful so are the people at the reception. Supriya, Ashley and Dharmraj to name a few. The restaurant serves excellent food and the people who serve are courteous and welcoming. The smile and serve gesture of all in the resistant will remain etched in our mind. Specially to mention service provided by Salini and Vanrani in the restaurant.

My checkin was not in a good experience,Their was some issues with the room catagory, I totaly understand the Hotel was full house but it dosent mean the other guests to suffer, ***y of the staffs they need Training then look very sad, I have to wish them Good Morning or Evening then they could reply, I would say F&B staffs were outgoing, I would recommend Noella,Danjita,Chef Dutta for their extra care they did a very good job,The food varieties are amaizing specially the breakfast,The Health club some machines are too old,The Taxi driver name Mahmood is very good he was extraordinary by his hospitality.Rooms cloth hangers are rusted.

This trip was equal parts nostalgic as it was for relaxing, since my family and I first visited Cidade almost 21 years ago. Taj has done a splendid job of maintaining the architecture and atmosphere of the original property. A stunning view of the sea, spacious rooms, a wide, open terrace, and lots of areas to walk, sit, and relax. It’s a truly magnificent property. I wouldn’t say it was the best experience but it wasn’t bad either. Positives: - Very comfortable rooms. And clean bathroom with a great shower. Great amenities and a well stocked mini fridge + snack bar. - Terrace is the USP for this room. It has a fantastic view of the beach and the sea, and it’s a great place to hang out when the weather is nice (or to even observe rain). It’s not 100% private since the sitting area opens into a common terrace space but some rooms have a private balcony in addition. - Food is great! No complaints in the quality or quantity. - Very kind and polite staff. Everyone was going out of their way to help us when we requested anything, which was very sweet. Negatives: - We had to switch rooms and both rooms still had the same problem. It’s possible that the lightening storm season caused some kind of sewage leak or backing, but there was a sewage smell coming through the AC ducts in both rooms and it was uncomfortable. I will say the staff did their best by providing us an automated room freshener to drown out the smell and it did the job. - The switch in room also meant that we lost the private balcony, but we still had the terrace so that’s alright. - Some discrepancies in communication. We requested extra coffee mugs and twice we were delivered a set of spoons, and then a bucket and bathroom mug? Once we spoke to housekeeping again, we were sent coffee mugs but for some reason they included a mismatch of mugs (including a mug that was not part of the hotel collection but appeared to be a mug left behind from an old guest, likely saved). It feels odd that non-hotel cutlery would be sent to new guests. - Room service menu could have more variety. It wasn’t advertised in an appealing way, which is a shame for the Goan dishes. Additionally, the prices did not reflect the product. Of course, room service at a 5-star isn’t going to be cheap, but pancakes with sides being the same price (whatever that price may be) as one bowl of cereal seems much. - There was very loud vacuuming happening at around 1:30 AM on the first night? The rooms are mostly sound proof but not completely, so you can hear neighbouring room noises sometimes too. - Breakfast buffet had items I’m allergic to mixed in with another item that I couldn’t have because of cross contamination (I realise a buffet hinges largely on how the guests take care of the items they touch and is already not very allergen friendly, but this was at 7:30 AM when I was the first one there and this was how everything was set up/served before guest interaction). My stay at the Taj Cidade de Goa Horizon in Goa was an exceptional experience that far exceeded my expectations. The room I was allocated was not only comfortable but also boasted a very spacious bathroom, enhancing the overall comfort and luxury of my stay. The hotel's amenities were top-notch, with the swimming pool being a particular highlight due to its inviting atmosphere and pristine condition. The culinary experience at the Taj Cidade de Goa Horizon was equally impressive. The wide range of breakfast options available each morning was a delightful way to start the day, catering to a variety of tastes and preferences. The quality of food served in the restaurant was excellent, with each dish reflecting the high culinary standards of the hotel. One of the most serene and enjoyable aspects of my stay was the calm private beach accessible to hotel guests. It offered a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, allowing for moments of tranquility and relaxation amidst the natural beauty of Goa. .

Very beautiful property with lush greenery and close to the calangute beach and there are 3 water pool inside the property a gymnasium and kids playing area also. Buffet was also good there were lots of option in the buffet. Rooms were clean and spacious, staff wass very cooperative.

Holy molly .. what an amazing stay we had at double tree Hilton, Arpora. Amazing hospitality, staff is at service all the time. I will surely recommend this property to my friends coming for a holiday.

The location of Riva is excellent. Right on the quietest part of the beach, but still very accessible to beach shacks and restaurants. There are 3 pools on the premises and the spa services are great. Check in and check out was so smooth. I really wish I could rate Riva higher because it’s a beautiful resort with hospitable staff and it has the potential to be very relaxing. However the food was a huge letdown. Goa is known as an amazing culinary experience, and I wish Riva was able to offer food that was upto Goan standards. I ordered a soup at the cafe and it was substandard to say the least. The sambhar and veg gravy the next morning was watered down and then over salted. Fortunately my resourceful family was able to find some amazing food options outside the hotel. There’s work to do and I will wait to hear of better food reviews before I recommend or visit again.
