I stayed at Tentrem Hotel Jakarta in early December and had a generally pleasant experience. The booking process was done through an online travel agency, and I left a note with some requests. Most hotels tend to ignore such notes, but Tentrem exceeded my expectations by actually addressing them. This attention to detail was impressive and set the tone for a good stay. Check-in and Lobby Experience The check-in process was smooth and quick. The lobby is located on the 6th floor, which means you need to take the elevator twice to access the parking area. While not inconvenient, it's something to keep in mind when navigating the hotel. Room Quality The room was spacious, clean, and well-lit, providing a very comfortable atmosphere. My room faced the neighborhood rather than the main street, ensuring a tranquil stay. This hotel could easily serve as a quiet retreat in the bustling city of Jakarta, combining luxury with peace. However, I did notice some noise from the upper floors, such as conversations and the sound of toilet flushing, which could be an issue if the hotel is fully booked. The only downside in the room was the shower. The water pressure was underwhelming and not up to the standards of a 5-star hotel. Dining Experience The dining experience was mixed. Some dishes were excellent, like the Ketoprak, but others fell short. The Nasi Goreng and Mie Goreng, which I consider benchmarks for Indonesian-themed hotels, were disappointing. The orange juice was a big letdown as well—sour, bitter, and not the quality you’d expect from a hotel of this caliber. However, the variety of food offered at breakfast was good, though the taste and quality didn’t match the standards of competitors like Kempinski, Westin, or Mulia. Facilities I didn’t get a chance to explore other facilities as I was attending an event nearby. However, I’m looking forward to returning and trying them, especially for activities with my 3-year-old. Conclusion Overall, Tentrem Jakarta offers a luxurious and quiet experience, with some room for improvement in food quality and noise insulation. The staff's attention to detail and the peaceful ambiance make it a worthwhile choice for those looking to escape the city’s hustle. While the breakfast and shower pressure fell short of my expectations, I would definitely consider returning to experience more of the hotel’s offerings.

Upon arrival, I was enveloped in the warmth of Central Java hospitality, which set the tone for my entire visit. I was graciously upgraded to the Keraton Suite—a spacious one-bedroom haven complete with a spacious living room. The soft hues of the decor create an inviting atmosphere, and the super king-size bed, adorned with plush down feather pillows, offered the ultimate in comfort for a restful night’s sleep. Tentrem’s ethos is one of genuine warmth and understated luxury. The decor subtly pays homage to Central Java’s rich heritage, providing a harmonious backdrop that complements the hotel’s modern aesthetic. Whether you’re enjoying a cup of coffee in the lounge or indulging in a quiet afternoon tea, the atmosphere is perfect for both social gatherings and peaceful reflection. As Jakarta welcomes this long-anticipated addition to its luxury hotel scene, Tentrem breathes new life with its concept of quiet luxury—an oasis the bustling metropolis desperately needs. I eagerly await my next visit, hopeful that the hotel will maintain its high standards across all areas of service.

I often hear stories about Hotel Tentrem Jogjakarta; it is said to be the most comfortable hotel and the food is delicious. Unfortunately, until today I have never had the opportunity to stay there to prove the truth of the story. Yesterday I had a meeting and stayed at Hotel Tentrem in Jakarta. I was worried that my expectations would not match the reality. It turned out that I made a mistake and regretted it, because only now I tried to stay at Hotel Tentrem. When entering the gate, security politely greeted and asked permission to check the vehicle using fluent Javanese language. Hello, this is Jakarta, right? I felt like I was in my hometown when I heard the security greeting. The parking lot is comfortable and free, the security on duty quickly helps direct the parking car swiftly. Headed to the 3rd floor and found a meeting room that was not too spacious but comfortable. The facilities in the meeting room are complete and plug n play, comfortable tables and chairs. Teguh, the engineer was alert and quick to help when there were technical difficulties. The coffee break was good and it turned out that lunch and dinner were also very good, even though they were served in the foyer. The way it was presented was interesting and made in such a way that each meeting room had its own foyer area. Thank you to Mia, Fahri and Revanza, the banquet staff at the 3rd floor meeting room for demonstrating the hotel's signature hospitality of tentrem and always helping wholeheartedly. Upon entering the room, I was very impressed with the interior of the room. Although there were two beds that were not small in size, the room did not look cramped at all. The shower and wc are separate, but well-designed with an elegant sink and amenities rack. The first visit was treated to a complimentary welcome snack and minibar; betawi snacks and sidomuncul specialty drinks. There was even a coffemaker provided, in addition to other equipment that was all well-stocked. Initially when entering the door of Resto kayumanis on the 6th floor, I was a little disappointed because it looked cramped with a few table chairs. Michele kindly greeted me and escorted me to the dining room inside; I was deceived when I went inside, but the restaurant is actually quite spacious and cozy. Whether you want to have breakfast indoors or outdoors, everything is comfortable. Moreover, the open kitchen concept makes the restaurant more attractive, the presentation of the food is neat and beautiful, making me wonder if it tastes as good as it looks? the cuisine is not only delicious... but very very very delicious. A variety of dishes that are all appetizing and the results are very satisfying to my palate. Thank you to the kitchen staff who have given their best dishes; Fauria, Lidya, Ivana and Khoirul despite being busy in the kitchen but still friendly to greet guests and always persuade guests to try the dishes they have made.
