Absolutely beautiful location with stunning views across the tea plantation. Nice pool. Everything about this hotel should idyllic. However, food service was slow and on one occasion I was served stone cold food after waiting 45 minutes. They ask what your breakfast order is while still eating dinner!

We stayed as a group of four for two nights on a 13 day luxury tour of Sri Lanka. This was one of our favorite places to stay. Set amongst a tea plantation it also included great views across the valley to mire tea plantations. You can walk amongst the plantations to watch sunrise or sunset. Service and food were excellent and rooms every comfortable. Highly recommend

Excellent service, especially by Kevin, Saif, Anoj and Hussain. Location is very nice with good views. However it's away from the town area. For breakfast, both local and international selections were good. For lunch or dinner, their local menus are good. International dishes could be better. Dining area can be warm during the day due to sunlight and a lack of wind. Rooms were good. However there's no air conditioning in this hotel due to the cold highlands weather. During the day it can get warm. Advised to leave the windows open. Water pressure in the shower was bad, and wifi can be unstable.

One of the best stays in Sri Lanka. Boutique hotel stay with many activities. As it’s away isolated from the city, highly recommended for honeymooners. From the temperature control pool, there’s amazing views. Staff is really friendly and service is amazing. Food was delicious as you can have meals with a view.

Very relaxing stay in a beautiful setting. Staff were very attentive and food very good. Improvements could be made to make the bar more welcoming and additional outdoor seating would be good for lunch and drinks. Nice to relax by the pool but only six sun beds.

This old, but beautifully refurbished, planters bungalow with 13!rooms is a gem of hospitality amongst the tea plantations. Bedrooms are large and comfortably furnished. Ditto the common areas where one can lose oneself in a book or admire the stunning views. The carefully maintained gardens include a heated infinity pool (refreshing but not bracing) and a challenging mini golf course set on hill. The food was excellent. Staff are polite, attentive and efficient. Lack of air conditioning was a minus but balanced by the constant cool breeze through windows that open. Insects didn’t seem to be a problem. We stayed one night but could happily have stayed two or three.

Our train from Kandy to Nanu Oya was very late so we lost our relaxation time here. In hindsight, we should have stayed for 2 nights to make the most of this Beautiful colonial boutique hotel with fantastic views. The manager welcomed us & offered to keep the pool open late for us. Nothing was too much trouble & we received excellent & polite service from all members of staff. Our curry selection for dinner was delicious, as was breakfast. We shall return one day & spend a week in the cooler air of this area.

A charming boutique hotel in a stunning setting. The staff was truly wonderful, the food was great and the room was large and very comfortable. They have a heated pool, which is a must as te.p drops dramatically here at night. They even have a small mini put, tennis court and badminton. We would definitely return.
