The hotel with tradition and charm. Nicely appointed rooms, rich with history. Beautiful lawn and gardens, an ehxcellent setting. The food, both dinner and breakfast were exceptional. Very courteous and friendly staff. They have a snooker table which is over 100 years old. Loved the stay.

The bungalow is located in a very scenic environment, not too far from the town yet away from all the hectic mess. It's a very old bungalow maintained to the very best. Rooms are spacious and really clean so are the bathrooms. The food taste so good and the personalised menu for breakfast is a very generous thing. The staff is really friendly and amazing. The manager Sudharshan is the magic man behind all this wonderful place. Friendly, pleasant and very professional approach makes it very easy to deal with him. A big thumbs up to Sudharshan. We will definitely visit this bungalow soon and sorry for the late review. Good luck and keep up the good work

When I asked, they told me that there were not many customers, so we did not provide the buffet, but this thing does not give the right to the hotel He does not provide a buffet for me. Thank you. As for the rest of the details, they are very nice, such as the view, calmness, and service. I give the hotel a rating 9/10.

The hotel is ok for folks passing through town. It has the feel of a B&B but the service of a hotel. Staff was friendly. The room was clean but dimly lit. The bedding had some stains and was a bit tattered. The temp got pretty cold at night but that is just a warning to anyone traveling in Nuwara Eliya and not a reflection on the hotel. I saw some of the other rooms they had and those were much better. We stayed in the Rose room, which they said was the delux room, but the other rooms looked much nicer. Breakfast was nice. This is a no frills hotel. Not luxury but still pretty good.

We were doing a road trip through Sri Lanka and someone recommended popping into this hotel for a drink. We arrived at reception and were asked to complete a form, detailing our passport information and contact telephone number. We declined to give this information as we didn’t feel it was necessary to have a quick drink. While I was filling in part of the form, the guide took my (exceptionally expensive) camera and without asking permission, took photos. We really just wanted a drink but were pushed into a tour of the ground floor of the hotel at a cost of 300 rupees per person. The hotel is like stepping back in time and we certainly wouldn’t choose to stay there. The tour lasted about 10 minutes and that was more than enough for us, it was so boring. The guide continually pointed out pictures of our queen….as if we didn’t know who she was! We were then guided into the bar. My husband went to the gents and the guide stood at my side the whole time. Even when my husband came back he continued to stand which was more than awkward. We then realised he wanted a tip so husband gave him some money. Would you believe he still stood and my husband said “exactly how much more do you want”. We paid him again and he left us. The tip cost 5 times the price of the tour! Half way through the tour the guide went down the dangerous path of guessing our ages, not something I would expect from someone I met 5 minutes ago. To my astonishment, he said “ I’m sure you would have looked much prettier when you were younger”. I was horrified at his rudeness. To make matters worse, the guide could do with addressing his hygiene as the smell of BO was quite overpowering. I had a gin and tonic that I could not finish as the tonic was rancid (penguin I think). We could not wait to get out the hotel. This experience was the only bad one we had during our 4 week stay. This hotel makes an attempt at being special but for us, the experience was poor.

Really enjoyed our stay with Adams peak inn. A great place with clean rooms and helpful staff. The rooms on top floor are the best but it could get bit noisy due to the road traffic right in front. The rooms underground’s are also spacious and definitely value for money. The food here is really good. Sri Lankan rice and curry is a must try. Dilpa and family owns this place and they were supper friendly and helpful. This surely will be our stay next time around

We were doing a road trip through Sri Lanka and someone recommended popping into this hotel for a drink. We arrived at reception and were asked to complete a form, detailing our passport information and contact telephone number. We declined to give this information as we didn’t feel it was necessary to have a quick drink. While I was filling in part of the form, the guide took my (exceptionally expensive) camera and without asking permission, took photos. We really just wanted a drink but were pushed into a tour of the ground floor of the hotel at a cost of 300 rupees per person. The hotel is like stepping back in time and we certainly wouldn’t choose to stay there. The tour lasted about 10 minutes and that was more than enough for us, it was so boring. The guide continually pointed out pictures of our queen….as if we didn’t know who she was! We were then guided into the bar. My husband went to the gents and the guide stood at my side the whole time. Even when my husband came back he continued to stand which was more than awkward. We then realised he wanted a tip so husband gave him some money. Would you believe he still stood and my husband said “exactly how much more do you want”. We paid him again and he left us. The tip cost 5 times the price of the tour! Half way through the tour the guide went down the dangerous path of guessing our ages, not something I would expect from someone I met 5 minutes ago. To my astonishment, he said “ I’m sure you would have looked much prettier when you were younger”. I was horrified at his rudeness. To make matters worse, the guide could do with addressing his hygiene as the smell of BO was quite overpowering. I had a gin and tonic that I could not finish as the tonic was rancid (penguin I think). We could not wait to get out the hotel. This experience was the only bad one we had during our 4 week stay. This hotel makes an attempt at being special but for us, the experience was poor.

This is the perfect place to stay if you need some „holidays in your holidays“ and want to relax after busy days in Sri Lanka’s hot cities and landscape. Nuwara Eliya provides nice cool weather to relax and this hotel provides anything else you need: most comfortable beds in Sri Lanka, great bathroom with the best products I’ve used during my trip, great service, nice outside area and walking distance to Lake Gregory or some nice restaurants (especially if you’re longing for a nice Italian pizza after weeks of curry for breakfast and dinner 😉). Definitely recommending this place to stay! (They also organize trips, drivers and TukTuks for you. You just need to ask.)

The hotel is ok for folks passing through town. It has the feel of a B&B but the service of a hotel. Staff was friendly. The room was clean but dimly lit. The bedding had some stains and was a bit tattered. The temp got pretty cold at night but that is just a warning to anyone traveling in Nuwara Eliya and not a reflection on the hotel. I saw some of the other rooms they had and those were much better. We stayed in the Rose room, which they said was the delux room, but the other rooms looked much nicer. Breakfast was nice. This is a no frills hotel. Not luxury but still pretty good.

Honestly this is the best hotel in the area in every aspects. Highly recommend for those who are planning to hike/worship Sri Padaya mountain. Rooms were neat, tidy, spacious and having a balcony with amazing view of the sacred mountain. Also all sufficient basic amenities there for a comfortable stay. We have faced a little uncomfortable situation due to couple of limit crossed drunken guys in bar. But it was not a fault of the hotel neither staff. Staff was super amazing and did they best to make our stay comfortable. Have to mention that Mr. Mano made our stay so remarkable. Special credit goes to Mr. Mano and the team. Foods were really delicious and proper hygienic conditions were well maintained! Gave a 5 stars specially because of the hospitality!! Cheers!!
