Sandals Royal Plantation All Inclusive - Couples Only

Our second time at this beautiful resort and we’ve rebooked already for next year. We had the most amazing relaxing week. We had requested a higher floor which on arrival wasn’t what we were allocated but upon meeting ‘Biggs’ the best butler ever he quickly sorted this and had us moved the next morning. All the rooms are lovely and have fantastic views so we hadn’t asked to move but it’s this sort of service that really stands Royal plantation apart. We were looked after so well from day 1 by our butlers Biggs and Ricky, nothing was too much trouble. The new manager Omar was also a delight, knowing all of his guests on site by name and always happy to chat. All the staff are so welcoming, happy and helpful. Also must mention Alex the entertainment guy - his voice is amazing! We can’t wait to go back next July.

After your fourteenth trip to Sandals Royal Plantation where do you start to thank all of the fabulous people that make the resort the best place to decompress and enjoy the beautiful team of friends that we have developed over the years. Omar has the perfect venue for his team each one is absolutely perfect in every way. This team is untouchable in the standard of graciousness and respect for the guests. The breakfast team of Sharika, Tanje, Stephanie, Teana, Vonya, and of course Jamie- need to the resort but a fantastic addition to the team. That smile will make your day Lancelot has a team of talented staff that will make you never want to leave… Tyrone, Onella, Ornella, Angela, and Courtney who makes you feel like you are the most important person on the resort❤️ Brandon and Alex are just the best recreation team!! So much fun spending time with them and bearing Brandon at corn hole-haha! If I forgot someone it was not intentional- looking forward to our next trip- always the best!!Never goodbye but see you soon❤️❤️

Booked this holiday 2 years ago. Beautiful views, very clean and staff are very helpful and can't do enough for you. Omar the manager is a real gem, mingles with guests, knows their names and was even taking lollies to guests on the beach yesterday! You don't get many managers like that. Our butlers were great especially Richard he always seemed to know where we was ad always surprised us with iced coffees and food. That's the good points, now the not so good. Avoid shopping trip this is pre arranged at certain shops, we was heavily pressured into buying items and I don't like that. They said rum could be carried on plae it couldn't husband had to put it I his rucksack and it had to be checked in. When we got to Gatwick 1 of 3 bottles were broke. Our cases had been tampered with Jamaica end, husbands luggage strap had disappeared and the front of my case had been opened. Very limited food, ended up eating sae things on restaurants, they had a jamican night which was very good. Went to Ochi but very noisey. Pool tiny and certain guests go down very early ad get all the best ones but nothing is done about it, this group are known as the VIP's as they go all the time, how dull going to the same place.

This is our second time visiting SRP, and it won't be the last. It is truly a little slice of heaven. Apart from the beautiful setting (the beach is smaller but perfect for the size of the resort and ALWAYS clean!), the staff really sets this resort apart from others. The butlers are amazing. Omar, the General Manager, walks through the resort during the day and greets guests by name as he sees them, servers remember drinks you liked and are always attentive. When they say, welcome home, they mean it. It feels like home, and they make it that way. Having to leave was my only complaint. The resort itself is beautiful in a very traditional and charming way. They have been making some updates to rooms, but we appreciated seeing the dark woodwork and charm in tact. The "vibe" is one of relaxation and comfort. Conveniently for those who like relaxation mixed with more of a party setting, Ochi is just next door, and the shuttle to take you there and back runs often. As far as food, they have enough options on site at SRP, but certainly the availability of the options at Ochi help change things up if you want, but it certainly isn't needed. I can't say enough wonderful things about SRP and the team that makes it so special. Can't wait to go back!

Trip #4 to SRP did NOT disappoint. It is so wonderful to be able to return to a place that truly feels like a home away from home. This was our longest stay to date. We were there for 11 night. Our butlers Sherrill and Gladstone were awesome. They catered to every want and suggested foods we didn’t even know we needed! They made sure our wine was chilled to the perfect temperature every night and even had a topper added to our bed when hubby’s back was giving him trouble. Additionally, they are just wonderful people and lovely to chat with! Daniello continues to make every beach day completely relaxing and refreshing! Unfortunately, Trevardo was on vacation for most of our stay, but we were able to see him for a couple of days. He and Daniello are such a great team and make sure the beach has that special exact mix of relaxation and fun. Junior, Delano, Romaine and JLee took great care of us at the Wobbley Peacock. Of course I would be remiss not to mention sweet Stace! She is so lovely and gracious and was always ready to serve our drinks just like we like them! Nicoletta at The Terrace is a joy! She is so welcoming and she and Sheena make great dance partners. Denar is a great server at the Terrace but additionally made all the evenings fun at the Terrace with his singing and dancing! Easton and Hushein were so personable and made sure everything was top notch at the Terrace and The Grill. We enjoyed 4 wonderful meals at Papillion. Sheena, Joseph and Shevon took great care of us. I highly recommend making sure you schedule at least one Papillion visit when Orion is playing piano; the piano music compliments the fabulous food perfectly! Corey was delightful every morning in delivering our room service coffee and danish; always a beautiful smile and a welcoming spirit to start off our day. The food is fabulous. Chef Martin is incredible and Lancelot does a tremendous job overseeing all the entire food and beverage operation. Nataki (at 8 months pregnant and still as delightful and talented as ever) kept the entertainment rolling. The water sports team of Wade, Lloyd, and Tivawne were incredible. They took us on many delightful sails. I highly recommend the early morning snorkel excursion. Wade and captain Fabian treated us to a completely fabulous water adventure. Marlyn kept our room spotless and perfect and was always so warm and friendly. Jessica with Loyalty is fantastic. She took us to see various rooms to make sure our upcoming 5th and 6th visits are just as awesome as the first four! Now for the new GM. Omar was standing at the front to greet us when we arrived. From that first moment to the last, we saw him multiple times a day and he greeted us (and every guest) by name. We saw him act as host and seat guests at The Terrace for breakfast, we saw him bus a table in the evening, and we saw him name 20 couples by name (without notes) at the returning guest dinner. Every evening Omar makes the rounds to all three restaurants and speaks

Every facet of our stay was a delight from beginning to end. The hotel has beautiful views and easy access to a glorious beach. Our room was comfortable and stylishly furnished, with plenty of room to put away clothes and to relax. The food in the various restaurants was delicious and plentiful, plus there was the opportunity to try different styles of food in the restaurants on the sister site of Sandals Ochi, accessible via a shuttle bus. The entertainment on some nights was exceptional. But above all it was the staff that made our stay what it was. They were beyond helpful, always ready with a friendly greeting or to chat. After our first introduction, the general manager, Omar, always greeted us by name and asked how we were doing. Our rooms were always impeccably cleaned during the day and the beds turned down at night (thank you Marysa and Monique). The restaurant and bar staff were always ready with a smile to show us to our table or to serve us with a drink (thanks in particular to Trevarno and Tressell). Drinks would sometimes even arrive unbidden, just as a thirst was arising! But it was above all to our butlers, Safiya and Orayne, that we were most grateful. They were always there for us from start to finish, whether it was booking restaurants for us and even escorting us to our seats, or bringing afternoon snacks, or keeping the fridge stocked, or turning up just at the right time with a pizza or some other tasty snack. But they both went the extra mile to help us when my wife’s phone got water inside, with Safiya helping to get some rice to dry it out and Orayne finding a wireless charger for us when the charging port was blocked. Together you helped make our stay one of the holidays of a lifetime.
