The location is good and even though it is an old building the carpets looked good and no smell. The room did not have any arrangement for tea / coffee but the alternative was far superior. They have a coffee machine in the lobby with multiple options. Fresh fruits and biscuits are also provided there. This is available 24 hours. A very nice room to sit and enjoy a hot cup of chocolate / coffee / tea! It was after a long time I was in a room which was this small. The elevator was not working at the time of check out and I had to bring down a 30 Kg bag. That was not good. The water supply will also be very old. I had to waste water for nearly five minutes before I got hot water supply.

Modern and nice setup as this hotel is quite new. Breakfast was good with typical danish offerings. Could do with more options to be called a 4 or 5 stars hotel. Location is 15mins walk to city square area. Nearby with Netto supermarket. Room is ok but without toiletries and room amenities to comment.
Ba*****t parking but be WARNED that only park with hotel black floor label. As if driver can see the floor black label from driving position on first visit to the carpark. The carpark lots around the hotel entrance at carpark is NOT for guests. And you have to pay parking within 4 minutes in this carpark else you will be fined near to 120 Euro. Unlike all other carparks I visited in Denmark where I only pay upon exit for the hours parked. This is street parking underground! I wonder who can complete hotel check in 4 minutes including taking a lift up to the lobby reception. This carpark management is out to scam first timers to this place maybe to keep those carpark inspectors employed.

This was the second time we visited Knudsens Gaard and it was as good as the first time. The receptionists are very nice, helpful and service minded, the rooms are spacious, clean, are beautifully decorated and the beds are just excellent. The hotel is situated just of one of the largest roads in Odense, but they managed to keep the rooms quiet, you are not disturbed by road noise at all! The restaurant servers excellent food both for breakfast and dinner. All in all one of my best hotel experiences

It’s life dangerous during breakfast for nuts allergie people, you have walnuts in thee bread with no signs about it! One gram of walnuts could kill a person with nuts allergies. You have it together with other bread how you cut. You also mixed every bread with its other. There was no bread without seeds or nuts, we have to ask for a plain bread, that was only in your freezer. But one of your staff was kind to fix that.

We enjoyed every minute in the comfortable, beautiful , spacious and modern room with a sea view, super large window front and a balcony. Everything was very clean. Extra towels for the beach were provided upon request. The hotel has direct access to the beach and waterfront. Breakfast buffet was ”lekker” and also with healthy choices. The food served for summer buffet in the evening was also very good and tasty. All personnel were very friendly, motivated and helpful. The prices for the room and in the restaurant are not cheap, but taking into account the quality and service offered as well as the high season, acceptable and worth it. All together we enjoyed a great stay ss a couple in a quiet beach surrounding. Notably, this was due to the e0xceptional room, which seems to be a one of a kind in this hotel.

EEryka LiuWe stayed in a secluded part of the hotel where we had to take an elevator from reception, walk a long corridor, take another elevator to reach our room. That being said, room and toilet was really clean. No grout on tiled wall. Kudos to the cleaning team. The room did not have air-con, kettle, tea/coffee nor minifridge. Was quite worried about temperature since temperature outside was pretty high. But luckily they have a small fan. Good enough to pull through. Being smack in the center of the city also means that its noisy. So it's give and take for the amazingly convenient location. Hotel also provides us with earplugs at the bedside.
Breakfast has big variety. Good quality and fresh.

PPengguna TetamuIdéal pour de la collectivité, séjours enfants mais absolument horrible pour des touristes non danois qui veulent simplement visiter la ville. Le prix est excessif pour une qualité bien médiocre. Les chambres et les sanitaires sont sales et hyper vétustes, odeur de moisi / pieds de partout dans les locaux, moquette sale absolument partout, installation électrique déplorable, décoration vintage très kitch, le store de la chambre est inutile et laisse passer la lumière, nous avons très peu dormi. Nous sommes très déçus, à plus de 70€ la nuit. De plus les draps et serviettes ne sont plus inclus dans la réservation (à 70€ la nuit c’est du vol!), il vous faudra donc débourser 20€ de plus PAR LIT ! Du vol pur et simple ! Et si vous croyez pouvoir dormir dans votre sac de couchage (aucun touriste étranger ne se déplace avec un sac de couchage pour commencer …), vous serez alors facturé 500dk pour le nettoyage du lit ! Enfin la localisation est vraiment pas terrible, au milieu de rien dans un quartier résidentiel, aucun restaurant à proximité, c’est loin du centre (30min à pieds, nous avons loué des trottinettes électriques) ou de la gare du sud si vous venez via Flixbus (plus de 45min à pieds). Pas l’idéal quand on vient visiter là ville. Le seul point positif est que c’est mignon de l’extérieur (mais uniquement de l’extérieur). Hors séjour type colonie de vacances, fuyez !

Cabinn is a budget hotel chain with locations across Denmark. Odense has no hostels so I was able to book an Economy Room at Cabinn for a very good price. Location is fantastic, very close to the heart of Odense and minutes away from the train station. Very easy to find. Economy Room is very small. I don’t think that should be surprising but please look at photos to manage expectations. For one person it was fine but I’m also used to hostels and other tight spaces. You can hear people use the shower in rooms around you too but not a lot noise from the neighboring rooms. Wifi was excellent, so strong, water pressure was fantastic too. Little street and train station noise as well. FYI: around check out, the elevators can get very busy and lead to a long wait, so allow extra time. Staff was fine, hair dryer rental is 100 DKK which is returned to you. My only complaint was the bathroom. It’s a combo shower and toilet/sink and the shower curtain can get attached to you and become annoying. The bathroom always gets soaked so be prepared with what you have inside. I would also add a second mirror to the room so one isn’t reliant on the small bathroom. Otherwise I had a good stay and would stay again there and with the chain.

PPengguna TetamuLocation is excellent! Supermarkets are in walking distance. The room is spacious. It has three beds for us even though we are only two persons. There is a coffee machine which provides a wide ranges of coffee and chocolate for free for the whole stay. We tried chocolate deluxe, latte, cappuccino and mocha. They all taste good. The hotel also provides free ice cream and snacks like cakes or fruit for tea for free.
The kitchen has microwave, oven and stove. It is clean too! We could prepare our meals like steak and salmon there. The staff is helpful especially the young handsome guy.
This hotel is really good value for money.
