This was our first long holiday, since last years weekend away. It's central to all the places, we wanted to do in the city. Even though it was busy (3.30pm), the reception staff 100% on the ball. We were assigned room 219. So that everyone knows, all room have names etc from H. C. Andersen or others (I think🤔 ) on the doors. Going in the room was hot, and that's when my husband told me, there is no air conditioning. Now we've been to hotels in Germany, Austria etc, and all have had air con. So I was surprised that most of the hotels in Denmark doesn't 🤯. I told my husband, as the weather forecast stated that there will be a heatwave. We couldn't keep the window open when we were out, or at night. Fyi there was a fan in the room ( that really didn't help). So we went back out to the reception, to ask if we could change rooms. We was given a new key card (317), to look at a room on the 3rd floor. This was better, so we moved all our gear, and returned room (219) card. (Another fyi) when you leave the room, you take the key card out of the slot near the door, that cuts most of the power off. So we couldn't keep the fan on, but the window was open. 219 room's bathroom, was all new with auto sensors on the sink tap, but in room 317, it's was normal taps. And the bathroom was a bit dated. As I'm 5ft 4ins, it was really, and I mean rally hard to reach the taps at the far end of the bath tab. As the shower screen was not movable. I have to get my husband 6ft 3ins, to reach in (umm after the rain shower wet him. The switch over from shower to bath was kinda broken), to turn on the tap for the bath. I was surprised once again, that there were on mini fridge (luckily we brought our cooler box with us), or any toiletries, apart from the hand soap. If you mean any you either have to buy at the reception (did smell nice), or to the nearby shops to buy some. I do like a try/buy pillow catalogue, pity there wasn't one for the mattress. I'm sorry, but like the name of our room Princess and Pea. The mattress were rock hard, and both of us had back pains (that we both had to take pain killers during our stay). Car parking, is not the hotel one, but the city one. It's the cheapest and right next to the hotel, but my husband said it was strange that it wasn't hotel parking. As you have to be lucky to get a parking spot (and pray that there are no double parking, as one person parked over the line, so that no one can park next to them 😡). The rest of the parking lot in the city are costly. Oh and the buy one get a drink free offer, is not good. As the drinks are very expensive, more that a normal bar price...thank to the bar staff who made a not too strong drink, that my husband wanted me to try. Now for the good stuff. Like all the photos of the hotel, that's what you see...and wow! I couldn't stop taking photos lol. We booked for breakfast included, and we're glad we did. There were hot and cold to chose from. Odense is a charming town with a fairy-tale feel, and this hotel is like that. Remember, you are in the capital of fairy tales and you cannot stay in a modern hotel. Milligton Plaza Hotel is as charming as Odense. An old, mystical house, an interesting lobby, a shabby antique elevator and beautiful rooms. The equipment in the rooms is a bit modest, but so what. The rooms are comfortable, clean and homey. This is a hotel with a patina, a hotel that should be protected as a monument. It rarely happened to me that I was happy to return to the hotel in the afternoon for a tea party. Here it happened every day. Fruit, coffee and juices are also available all day. The breakfasts are great, otherwise nothing special, but nothing is missing either. Everything is available, fresh warm bread is excellent. The next good thing is the staff, who are extremely friendly and not in a professional way, but sincerely and directly. The best point is the location. 5 minutes to the station, two minutes to the tram. And yes, 5 minutes to the city's not-to-be-missed open kitchen Storm Packhus. Great food for a moderate price. I spent a nice week in Odense among good people. The key to this was also a nice experience with this charming hotel. Maybe we'll see each other again.

Stayed for 2 minutes… ran out, and found a nother hotel to stay at. It is horrebly, dirty and smelly, there was mold in the bathroom,the walls and carpet vere verry dirty, dont understand how this hotel got 3 stars, do yourself a favor and find somwhere els to stay.

Situation is very near a centrum. First fine museum is on the other side of the street. Hotel and the rooms are clean. Size of the hotel is ideal: everything is near. Not long corridors. Staff is friendly and professional. They have positive attitude and passion to their job. Breakfast is fresh and it is nice to eat it under the tree. Hotel have some parkingplaces and more are just in front of the hotel. Price of the room is modest in Odense city. We had a good time in hotel. Tack to reception personnel!!!

Cabinn is a budget hotel chain with locations across Denmark. Odense has no hostels so I was able to book an Economy Room at Cabinn for a very good price. Location is fantastic, very close to the heart of Odense and minutes away from the train station. Very easy to find. Economy Room is very small. I don’t think that should be surprising but please look at photos to manage expectations. For one person it was fine but I’m also used to hostels and other tight spaces. You can hear people use the shower in rooms around you too but not a lot noise from the neighboring rooms. Wifi was excellent, so strong, water pressure was fantastic too. Little street and train station noise as well. FYI: around check out, the elevators can get very busy and lead to a long wait, so allow extra time. Staff was fine, hair dryer rental is 100 DKK which is returned to you. My only complaint was the bathroom. It’s a combo shower and toilet/sink and the shower curtain can get attached to you and become annoying. The bathroom always gets soaked so be prepared with what you have inside. I would also add a second mirror to the room so one isn’t reliant on the small bathroom. Otherwise I had a good stay and would stay again there and with the chain.

I absolutely cannot recommend a stay at milling hotel windsor, Odense. Why ? I had booked 2 single rooms at the hotel. The hotel demanded full price so the rooms had to be okay. They were far from that. There was very loud noise from a renovation (in the hotel - on a Saturday). When we pointed this out at the reception, there was nothing but confirmation that it was correct (there was noise) and that they couldn't do anything about it. There was no information about this before booking the rooms. Could we get other rooms or compensation? No! The rooms were also very small, very old and the bathrooms were characterized by poor renovation and cleaning. The power switches did not work if you used the extension cords that were already in the switches. If you still choose to book a single room here, be careful of the step from the bathroom. It's uncomfortably loud! All in all: a bad experience. And it's a shame, as I've otherwise been to other of Milling's hotels, which have been good experiences. Do not book rooms here. It's like throwing money down an unrenovated toilet

This was the second time we visited Knudsens Gaard and it was as good as the first time. The receptionists are very nice, helpful and service minded, the rooms are spacious, clean, are beautifully decorated and the beds are just excellent. The hotel is situated just of one of the largest roads in Odense, but they managed to keep the rooms quiet, you are not disturbed by road noise at all! The restaurant servers excellent food both for breakfast and dinner. All in all one of my best hotel experiences
