I going to admit I was really worried about staying here but we’ve just come back from 4 nights was very surprised. The staff were very friendly and accommodating - our room though it was dated was very clean, we also had housekeeping come everyday. The pool area was a great size. Plenty of beds, in decent condition. A couple were broken but the majority were good. The pool bar was reasonably priced and the food was good. Good service from staff. Our door locked and the hotel was in ok condition. From what I can tell they are merging two hotels together and are in process of doing the rooms/hotels up. Disliked · Down side our air con didn’t work - they did provide us with a fan however it was that hot it didn’t do very much. We struggled to get towels but we did get some. We just had to collect from reception in the evening. There was a couple of tiles on the balcony that was broken.

SCAMMERS ....Hi everyone, I am written this review today on 31st October 12.31pm in Ireland, I am English speaking and have been to Portugal many times in the past couple of years. (WENT HERE WITH FAMILY.!!) Within the last year or two I have been visiting Portugal and staying in different hotels AROUND PORTUGAL, as you probably can tell I love Portugal :)..... and I have only had A FEW small things wrong with hotels, nothing to major to fix, they were fixable problems I ain't fuss at all, just a normal working individual looking for nice holiday with family. Now this is where my review begins WITH this hotel !!!..... 1. Receptionists is alright, dose her best as its her job 2. ROOM..!! Haha joke !! patio Window was broken, left a cold wind coming into my room!! Had to use a bed sheet to try AND block COLD BREEZE coming in AT NIGHT !, as there was NO glass. 3.ROOM..!! NO electricity was working in room, lights !! 4. ROOM... Ants were all over room, due to BROKENNESS OF window. 5. BED WAS OK but WASN'T COMFORTABLE!! Bathroom.... ABSOLUTELY FILTHY !!.... 1.BATHTUB yellow stains like rusty all over it, and broken rusty areas in tub. 2.Shower.... okay just usable! 3.toilet... just usable, stained !! 4. No service, for 7 nights I was there. 5. Towels okay, Bearable. The building itself was horrible Pool bar was not open most of the time. Disgusting pool. paid around €500 almost for hotel. And it was only worth about 150 for the staff member at the reception trying to do the best she can ! With a result of no electricity and stress. I actually ended up falling in my apartment room, I had a cracked eye and brushing all over my body !!! It was nightmare. SCAMMERS !!! I WOULD BE ASHAMED OF OF THE PERSON WHO ONWS THIS, oh actually they probably have some kind of scammers running it for them in Portugal, while they are on the othersode of the world, just getting the income from this place, !!

There is nothing good to say about this hotel. very old and dirty...the curtains were hanging off the pole, bath stained yellow with a horrible shower curtain that was dirty. Cupboards did not shut properly. Our towels were not changed unless i asked for new ones. We found cockroaches in our room, dead birds around the pool. Most of the sunbeds were broken and absolutely filthy...not at all welcoming and the pool was never cleaned. There were many strange young people hanging around the property most of the time, leaving us feeling scared for our safety.

I would not recommend this hotel to worst enemy. The rooms are vile, staff are unhelpful and rude and the building is so unsafe. A back story my friend and I booked to stay for a week we arrived on the Sunday early hours to have been given the wrong address on google. Two days later my phone went missing and turned up at reception. The next day my trainers went missing. Two days later my friends purse went missing and her bank accounts were all being used at nearby food supermarkets. Then my iPad went missing and I tracked it to reception I went down to find my iPad, passport, bag and her purse was all at reception. When I questioned the staff as to why they didn’t check any of the IDs they acted all shady and pretended they couldn’t understand English. They accused 3 Irish lads of stealing all this stuff but they checked out that morning if that was the case why would they leave a brand new iPad and why were the bank accounts being used that afternoon nearby. Very shady hotel. Was given 3 toilet rolls to last a week. Two towels for a week. Asked for the room to be cleaned and they emptied the bathroom bin. Bath was black. Reception for our hotel had nobody on it so people could just come and go as they please. Patio doors didn’t lock. Kettle didn’t work. Telephone didn’t work. Please if you are thinking about booking this hotel because it’s cheap don’t we’ve had the worst experience.

Read the 1 star reviews a lot of them really do reflect and are accurate of my own experience. I go to hotels with the attitude I’m just going to sleep there I don’t normally care. But this hotel really is run down and a dump. The old woman on reception is rude (not cheerful) you can see this in another 3 reviews. The hotel is dark and grim it looks and smells awful. It’s a massive Soviet Union vibe. Asked 4 people for a towel and got 1 hand towel to last me for a week. Bird poo all over the balcony. The safe had a massive hole where the lock should be. The bath tub plug hole is blocked. Every time I left or came back to the hotel the cleaners are always sat on the stairs watching reels. I would pay more to go anywhere else next time. The closest I came to cheerful was when I was leaving.
