Currently half way through an 11 night stay with family and honestly can’t fault it here. I paid extra to have a sea view room and definitely worth it (photo below). Our room looks out over the pools and gardens. Great view from the balcony for the firework display on a Thursday night, which was like a firework display standard back home. Amazing!! Our room was spotlessly cleaned daily with fresh towels by the time we had returned from breakfast. All areas of the hotel and pool are kept very clean from what I’ve seen. I do get up to put the towels down but most hotels are like that. Breakfast - cereals, lots of different bread, biscuits, continental, cooked breakfast, fruit, yoghurts, decent coffee, variety of teas, juices, etc. All nicely presented and fresh. Lunch and dinner - two choices of soup, bread, pasta, pizza, fresh fish, meats, salads, cheeses, vegetables, rice, risotto, etc. Selection of cakes, fruit, yoghurts and ice cream for dessert. Nothing negative to say about the food, it’s been lovely. Decent wine and beer on tap too. If you like junk food then this isn’t the place for you I’m afraid. Not a chip or chicken nugget in sight thankfully! Good bar service with plenty of staff. There’s a coffee bar and snack bar, which does have chips available I believe. My 12 year old is in his element here with all the sports included. At least 12 quality clay tennis courts, eight table tennis tables, pedalos, kayaks, bikes, etc. We have taken full advantage of booking all this easily next to reception desk. The immediate area literally right outside hotel is great. All the sports on your doorstep, bars, restaurants and shops. Area is fairly quiet during the day. Does get busier in the evening. We’ve done a day trip to Slovenia (Lake Bled) which was absolutely stunning. Been on a BBQ boat trip to Rovinj which was a lovely old town with cobbled streets, harbour, lots of restaurants, etc. Day trip to Venice later in the week. We’ve used the bikes to ride into Porec which wasn’t far. It’s lovely there and worth a visit. It’s easy to get the little train into Porec for 4 euros each. You can also get a taxi or water taxi easily. It’s reasonably priced to eat/drink out everywhere we’ve been so far. Nice little bar across the road called Beach Volley I think. Great service and prices. The staff work really hard here to keep the place nice for the guests. We are having a lovely time and would definitely recommend. For the price we paid to come here I think it’s more than worth it.
