Edgewater Dive and Spa Resort has secured a spot in the top 5 of our travel list due to its exceptional location, accommodation, and staff. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, we were greeted with warmth and received outstanding care. The owners, Richard and Vika, are present almost daily and display a genuine interest in their guests' well-being. Richard, being a passionate diver, provided us with valuable advice on dive spots and answered all our related questions. Thanks to him, we had incredible dives. Billy and Jun, the dive masters, took excellent care of us and introduced us to a variety of dive locations. The resort's convenient proximity to everything made our stay even more enjoyable. Speaking of accommodation, what you see is exactly what you get at Edgewater Dive and Spa Resort. We were delighted to find two spacious and clean rooms equipped with air conditioning and fans. The comfortable beds ensured a good night's sleep. Additionally, we indulged in the outdoor spa, which added to our overall relaxation. We cannot praise the hotel and restaurant staff enough. Jeff and his team made sure we never went hungry. The food was not only delicious but also served with a warm and friendly attitude. Our child especially loved the attention he received. In terms of managing expectations, it's important to note that the resort does not have a beach right on its premises. However, this was not an issue for us as they have a lovely little pool, and with only 12 rooms, it never felt crowded. It's worth mentioning that food preparation may take some time, so it's advisable to place your order ahead of time if you're in a hurry. The resort's slightly secluded location was something we appreciated, as it provided a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere. Despite this, the hotel staff goes above and beyond to make your stay as effortless and convenient as possible. They are more than willing to assist with booking boats for beach tours, arranging tuktuks, or any other transportation needs. We enjoyed our stay at Edgewater Dive and Spa Resort so much that we have already made plans for our next visit. Love this family friendly resort. Their family room is big enough for us 3 adults and 2 kids. We added an extra mattress so my mother doesn’t have to go up and down the stairs. We feel at home instantly. There was a typhoon going around in Philippines but the resort has a restaurant and shops are just a 10min-walk. The pool and dive center is just perfect! The crews are fantastic. Special thanks to Joy who helped to check our reservation, although it was paid through Trip.com. The best part is they are trying to reduce single use plastic by using big bottles of shampoo and shower gel. Better for the environment.

Great service . They are always friendly and helpful. Food is best I had in years if I compare another hotels . And bug bonus is that the kit hen also make food on demand . So if not on menu they do on request and it is worth to pay some extra money. Only downside is that trip.xom do not mention that beside the 30 peso terminal fee . And then on tge another side you need to pay 120 peso tourist tax . And as last 300 peso each person to go to the hotel. But for sure I will go back there

I was not sure what to expect on this dive trip, but I was not disappointed at all. From arrival at the resort, we got introduced to the resort facilities and dive schedule. This diving experience and the resort set the standard for what I consider an amazing luxury and dive trip at reasonable price. Asia Divers delivered an organized dive schedule with 5 Dives per day including the night dive. Using Nitrox I managed to enjoy every single dive from 8:00 AM after a lovely breakfast till 6:00 PM night dive. Each dive site had its own beauty and unique creatures. Then came Verdi Island dives and it was a whole new experience with an amazing reef and lush life with trigger fish, anthias and a variety of corals and unique creatures and tiny critters such as pygmy seahorse, mantis shrimp and many others. Tanks and equipment prepared by the dive crew with Nitrox (or air) and we just had to show up and dive. The resort was fun, beautiful atmosphere, exquisite sunrises and sunsets, lush canopy of trees and birds next to the beach. Good rooms that are comfortable and reasonably priced. The food was truly enjoyable. Lovely variety for breakfast and nice collection of coffee flavours and juices. 3 course lunch and 3 course dinner that’s amazing quality. You can’t go wrong with this adventure. I’m definitely going back again!

The outdoor pool, surroundings, garden, and amenities are fantastic. We particularly enjoyed the themed architecture, landscape, and even the common bathrooms within the castle. The availability of free amenities like the billiards, table tennis, and a gym added to the overall experience. The Wifi is also okay. However, if you have a car, be aware that parking is quite limited and occasionally locked due to its location in front of a house with a narrow gate. Clear instructions about parking are necessary, as maneuvering on the small road can be challenging. It took them a while to provide clear instructions for the parking. There's room for improvement in cleanliness, especially with bedsheets that had a lingering smell, possibly indicating insufficient drying. Additionally, the water kettle and cups seemed like they hadn't been washed thoroughly. Overall, my family enjoyed their stay there and with more improvements and the staff being more responsive before and during the stay would even make this place even better.

Another fantastic stay at the Manara. It’s been a while due to the pandemic. They have been busy making a lot of expansion and enhancing the place all together, they even added another pool! The ambiance is very chill, it was peaceful and serene. The food was all top notch too, great selections of nice local offerings as well as fine imports.

Чудесное место для остановки. У нас было уютное, просторное бунгало с небольшой терассой. Не хватало только холодильника, но это никак не повлияло на общее впечатление. Мы приехали около 2х часов ночи, нас дождались и заселили, несмотря на то, что заселение до 22.30. Ухоженная, территория, потрясающий сад растений. В отеле есть спа, неплохой массаж. Удобное месторасположение - чуть в стороне от суеты, есть свой пляж. Рядом отели без пляжа с мощёной набережной. Дайвинг брали в другом месте, так как в отеле все было забронировано. У нас был но ер без завтраков. Его можно взять и оплатить на месте. Мы завтракали в разных местах, все в пешей 5-ти минутной доступности. В поисках ужина обошли несколько мест, в итоге оказалось, что в этом отеле самая вкусная еда. Повару отдельное спасибо!

What an amazing place! Our trip was easy from getting from the airport to the resort. They greeted us with shell leis, a great refreshing drink, a terrific cookie and a much needed cold towel. They made us feel like royalty. They even had our names on the welcome board!! Everyone was respectful and super friendly! The food was excellent in every way! My hubby is a picky eater and he loved everything. The bar drinks were fantastic. Our massages were excellent after a long day of diving. We were glad to have that relaxation time. Our room was clean and comfortable, fluffy pillows and all. The diving was world class there was so much life everywhere! There were so many nudi’s everywhere that after the first couple of days we only took pictures of ones that were new to us. We gave our guide a hard time because we took so many pictures that we killed the batteries on our cameras on more than one dive!! So to everyone Kris, Angela, Rex, Alvin, Mark the cooks, the housekeepers, the waiters and waitresses and everyone else that took such great care of us we say…Thank you, Thank you, THANK YOU!!! We had an amazing time! We definitely will come back and we are already telling all our friends that they need to come see you too!
