Ulasan Grand Park Otaru

We booked a mountain view room and hotel upgraded our room to ocean view room. The room is fantastically big and could fit an extra single bed for our child without us requesting. The hotel was just walking distance from Otaru-chikko JR station and also walking distance from various supermarket down the road. Thank you for making our stay in Otaru a memorable one!

Stayed for 2d1n as a couple. We had a comfortable stay in the room, which was spacious and even had a small sofa. The location is excellent, a short walk from Otaruchikko station. It is also directly connected to the large Aeon mall which we visited quite a lot. It connects directly to Wingbay as well, which was convenient for shopping, etc. It is about a 30 minute walk to the more touristy part of Otaru, which was fine with us since the prices in the surrounding area were also lower.

We stayed on the 18th floor with mountain views. Very big room and comfortable. The only thing we dislike was the lights are dimmed and yellow.

Nice hotel

I recently stayed at the Grand Park Otaru and had a delightful experience. The hotel offers great value for money, being not too expensive while providing excellent amenities and service. The location is fantastic, right next to a mall, which is incredibly convenient. There’s even a connecting door that makes access easy. This was particularly great for the kids, who loved playing at the arcade next door in the mall. Parking is available on-site, though there is a fee. However, it’s quite convenient and not too far from the elevator, making it easy to get to the room with luggage. Speaking of luggage, the staff were incredibly helpful and took great care of our bags. Driving to popular destinations from the hotel is easy and doesn’t take too long, which made it an ideal base for our Hokkaido itinerary. The room itself was spacious, a nice surprise, and added to the comfort of our stay. The bed was a bit hard, but it was manageable and didn't detract from the overall experience. Overall, Grand Park Otaru was one of the best stays during our trip to Hokkaido. The combination of a great location, convenient amenities, and helpful staff made it a memorable part of our journey. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Room very spacious comparing to Japanese standard. Chose room facing the sea was marvellous, observing the sunrise. As we were driving, no issue with regard of location, however the major attraction is on the other side abt 4km away. However AON supermarket just next door. Check-in is very efficient.

Wonderful stay with impeccable service and restful stay, especially after a whole day of skiing. The only downside is probably the lack of on-site onsen in the hotel.

Great sea view, large room. Location not near to Otaru music box museum, no issue for us since we have a rental car but parking fees is 1650 yen is expensive.

Wonderful view even from the hill side! It’s the highlight of my trip in Otaru. The location is very convenient as it’s close to JR station (8min in-door walking, a plus in a snowy winter cuz you avoid the trouble of moving suitcases in the coldness and snow pavement outside). The facilities are nice.

This hotel is OK, the price is cheap, so can't expect too much.
