I give a high score because it is really a good place, but I do not recommend due to my bad experience.
I have purchase for Manyo Japanese Style Room for one night including dinner and breakfast and expect a perfect experience on a Onsen Hotel.
It is perfectly match with my expectation before midnight, perfect customer services, great hot spring in terms of in-house or public onsen.
Great drinks and snack provided on the public area.
Although the dinner is not match with my taste, I do believe it is just the issue of my personal taste.
The nightmare comes when it is at 12:00
There should be auto adjustment on the temperature of private onsen in house.
It turns from got to warm at midnight, so I call the hotline and seek for support on turning it hot again.
However, the staff work at night can not speak English and told me my onsen is broken.
The onsen turn into cold immediately.
They have offer me a choice of change to another room but I do not want to bother them at night so refuse to do so.
As a result, the onsen was not fixed afterward even at the morning tomorrow.
And they only return less than 10% refund as the compensation to me.
So here I will have 2 suggestions for you if you really want to try this hotel:
1. try not to purchase the premium room. You can enjoy the food, the public onsen and the kindness customer service even if you just purchase the cheapest one.
2. If you do purchase the premium room, and unlikely your onsen was broken, do not hesitate to change to another room. You will find no reason to pay so high for a room without private hot spring.
