overall stay was completely good but this building does not have free parking, they charge you 22 dollars for underground parking or outside parking as well and no security for car they said car parking is always at owner's risk. thats only a negative point otherwise room was clean, no disturbance, breakfast was good.

Points négatifs : impossible d'ouvrir les fenêtres pour aérer la chambre. un bruit sourd de soufflerie (l'air conditionné peut-être) durant la nuit. Points positifs : un accueil irréprochable (en français et en anglais) et très dispo. chambre propre, spacieuse et confortable. sèche cheveux + fer à repasser en dispo. les petits-déjeuners très copieux, variés et excellents. hôtel très bien situé. intervention très rapide lorsque vous avez un problème. les glaçons disponibles pour boire un verre en chambre. savons - shampoing et serviettes de bain également dispo. Parking privé payant (20€ HTVA).

The room was clean and even had a little fridge, microwave and kettle with lots of things to make tea. The breakfast that's included is substantial. The staff is Very friendly and helpful. Hotel is Centrally located. It is Within walking distance to most of the popular sites such as, Parliament Hill,Rideau, Byward Market, Canada art museum. I would definitely recommend and stay there again on my next trip to Ottawa.

Room is spacious and clean! Very convenient location with parliament hill, byward market and a lot of dining spots nearby. Kitchen is fully equipped and well maintained. We will definitely come back in our next visit.

Stayed at the Novotel for a week in early Feb 2023 while attending a conference at the nearby Westin. I booked for a really low rate through hotwire. After a pleasant check in I was excited to come into a very large on the 8th floor with a separate seating area and a very large TV. Room was pretty clean although when packing up before check-in I found some items under the bed that did not belong to me. Location was perfect, right across from the Rideau Centre and the Westin/Conference Centre and within a short walk to the Parliament Buildings, Sparks Street and Byward Market. My only compliant is the walls must be paper thin as I could hear the ding of the elevator and conversations in the hall from my room. I was also there a four hour during a power outage in the evening. I assume the outage was unscheduled but there was a lot of confusion and no one at the front desk when it occurred. The hotel shares a building with a DND office which made it confusing leaving the building by the stairs as the stairway lead to a entrance that read ”DND property alarm will sound”, it took awhile to figure out how to exit by the stairs.

Chateau Laurier ialah hotel ikonik di Ottawa. Malangnya, semasa Covid, ia bukanlah pengalaman terbaik. Pertama, tiada pengemasan. Kedua, tiada parkir valet dan tempat letak kereta hotel sentiasa penuh jadi kami terpaksa meletak kereta kira-kira 10 minit jauhnya. Ketiga, perkhidmatan tidak konsisten dan tiada perkhidmatan bilik. Produk mungkin lebih baik pada masa biasa tetapi harga terlalu tinggi untuk nilai. Positif adalah bilik yang lebih besar dengan pemandangan bangunan parlimen Kanada.

總體算是不錯的，酒店稍微老舊但無敵好的位置，出門50 米之內就是運河公園和地鐵站（雖然遊覽不需要坐地鐵）還有CF購物中心！ 可惜進房間就發現浴缸下水管道完全被頭髮堵塞無法洗澡，大晚上懶得叫客房部來清理，徒手挖了三分鐘才能洗澡…… 房間夠大隔音效果好，有寫字檯和沙發，床和枕頭舒適無異味無異響，但是但是廁所沖 馬桶的聲音巨大，感覺馬桶是負壓沖洗，衝起來力 道和飛機裏的廁所一樣轟隆一聲，所以晚上睡覺上 廁所基本全屋人都會被吵醒.... 早餐還算豐富，水果冷餐品類算比較多樣，可以和廚子點蛋卷和煎蛋，果汁咖啡口味算好喝。早餐廳門口就是星巴克，也是早餐廳服務員兼職做咖啡，所以為了經濟性可以選擇不含早，但早上可能排隊久等 服務人員訓練有素比較熱情但不夠主動，沒有感覺到被歧視也沒有感覺到賓至如歸 總體四分評價

The room smelled bad. Kind of like a locker room would smell like or maybe like wet carpet. You get used to the smell after time but it's bothersome walking into your room after a long day and your initial reaction is to hold your breath.

I’ve stayed in a many a hostel in many a country in my time as a solo traveller, I have yet to experience the anything close to the experience I had here, shoes stolen on CCTV at 2am seemingly brushed under the carpet even though the culprit was identified! My closest shower had mold on the ceiling, wasn’t sure if the bar of soap was provided for guests or if it was made up of the dead skin cells of the racist long term guests that congregate in the living area to seemly discuss the issues of the day and to return to their seats indented with there exact figure due to over use. The smell of cannabis was potent at the front and rear of the building and was almost unbearable to times. I never used the common area’s with the aging populous as it constantly felt I was living in a real life faulty towers. The staff on the other hand were fabulous, couldn’t do enough for us guests, hats of to you, you can only work within you’re means. I had been made aware to keep all belongings within eyesight at all times, I was told by fellow travelers in OTHER hostels outside of Ottawa. This really does need addressing and I’m sorry I’ve had to be the one to do it. A lick of paint is only the start of fixing the issues, I’m not even sure Alex Polizzi could fix this without a huge financial backing.

說實話真的太太太一般了！就是美加那種汽車旅館，就是一個睡覺的地方，啥設施也沒有，乏善可陳。第一天入住，馬桶把手就壞了，還好當天就來修了，否則咋辦呀！唯一一點是，地理位置特別好，走路十分鐘就到了市區主要的景點了。
