I enjoyed my stay at Monica so much! I spent most of my days enjoying the resort, pool, beach, restaurant, massages - everything was perfect. The staff is amazing, especially the general manager Luca who made my stay! He was always there, happy to help, suggest, find a solution or simply enhance the overall experience. I am definitely coming back. Thank you for all!

the hotel is beautiful and the rooms are very comfortable and nice.the staff is very professional and friendly…The food is excellent and the nature is unreal….. it was very pleasant for us, a perfect place to rest. for each recommendation.

It was an awsome stay, we really enjoyed the hotel itself, beautiful beach, beautiful people at the hotel, convenient rooms, big bathroom. Room cleaning was always good. The animator team was the best in the hotel: Lukas & Peter &Cosmo. They were always ready to cheers us up, they were always in a good mood, lot of fun on every party in the evevning, good music, dance, etc. Paje village tour was really interesting experience. We learned a lot about the culture, how the local people leave here, local school visit🥰 thanks for the animator team. They did a good job, volleyball, ping pong, bingo, aqua gym, etc. The reception people were always helpful, also people in the kitchen/restaurant and at the bars, always smile and they were really friendly. Every morning at the breakfast Frank always smiled and served really well. They also try to teach the swahili language, that we love it: pole pole, hakuna matata. Thank you so much STB Monica hotel. Jambo jambo! Habarjako? We would like to thank all staff members for welcoming us and for their hospitality and excellent service. Most of the team was smiling and happy to see us every day. Some of them made extra efforts to stop for a moment with us to chat - making personal connection made us feel special and looked after like we were close friends or family. Very comfortable bed, personally for me too soft pillow but this is individual preference I suppose. Room big and clean, excellent housekeeping service. Food - especially lunch and dinner- the selection was so good, fresh salads and variety of dishes, most of very tasty. The staff very pleasant - special thanks to Fides - her smiles and chats every day made us feel like at home - God bless you Mama Africa. We didn’t enjoy the Asian restaurant- couldn’t understand why we had to pay for the drinks from the All inclusive list if the same drink 10 steps away in the bar we could have “for free” as per our package. The spa team very friendly - my therapist Maua excellent - Ibrahim very professional and very helpful and approachable. There was something that bothered me - I was be up at 6am going to the beach area to do my yoga during the sunrise- there was be a lot of bottles/ glasses left around the beach beds from the night before - I know they were cleaned around 8am but it just wasn’t pleasant to see it when walking through the resort early morning. Entertainment was also very nice. We could see our guests enjoying the games through the day and we particularly enjoyed the show on Tuesdays - the group of boys from Stone Town dancing. Eric during our check in and check out was very welcoming and helpful. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at SBH Monica Zanzibar. Asante sana.

We really enjoyed our stay in this little paradise. It felt like spending time with family. The hotel is big enough to have a lot of choices but small enough to feel like home. Some of the staff members made our stay very special. Thank you Fides and Cecilia from Food and Beverage Thank you Lucas and team for some relaxing animation and entertainment. There was always something interesting to be part of. Keep going, you were our shining stars Only disappointment were the theme restaurants, we really did not enjoy the food. Tapas were not really Tapas…. Otherwise, it was such an amazing time and we would always come back! Not to forget the Spa where you can relax and have lovely massages

Good evening! Our experience with SBH was generally a positive one. Some problems I think should be solved for the tourist satisfaction to become full: 1 .The hot water in the bath was missing, had very, very small pressure or the water was cold. This problem is a pressing one and should not be found in a 5* hotel 2. The attitude of the waiters from the bar and the beach bar leaves to be desired if you didn't give tips you were not considered at allTowards the end of the stay, you were not even in mind. 3.In my opinion, the approach with the different payment of drinks is wrong. It is preferable to increase the price of the full ticket a little than to pay 1 dollar, 2 dollar for international beverages. In fact, I do not know how much money they get at the bar because I saw a lot of money in the pocket of the bar. 4. The cleaning of the rooms leaves to be desired .I had no cleaning and changed towels, tea or coffee in the first days. I left tips on the bed and as a miracle we were done and clean that should not happen at a 5*hotel.
