My friend and I have just returned from Palermo and stayed at this delightful B&B. It is in a converted Palazzo in a qiuet area of the old town near Piazza Marina but within easy reach of Corso Vittorio Emanuele and main attractions. We took the airport bus to Via Roma 265 stop and walked 10-15 minutes to the B&B.The train station is about 10 minutes away so easy for day trips. We stayed in room 21 which is a family room/apartment as it was hard to find twin bedded rooms in a lot of the hotels.the beds were comfortable and had a double bed, single bed and a baby cot plus a huge bathroom and separate little seating area. It had a balcony overlooking the street with a patio set where we sat out a couple of evenings.Martina our host spoke fluent English and advised us on restarants and sightseeing. Lidl and another supermarket are near the B&B where we bought drinks and snacks

Martina and family were such wonderful hosts and will make your stay a great one. We stayed in a very spacious, comfortable and clean room, which had a good sized mini bar, plenty of space for all our luggage and a large desk area. The included breakfast was a wonderful touch with excellent variety. We loved the special Christmas decorations all throughout the property. It really felt like staying with family at Al Piazza Marina b&b. Being Palermo, the streets are narrow and traffic can be intense and impatient. If you arrive be car, there's no on site parking so you need to find what you can closest to the property. You can get advice about the ZTL rules from knowledgeable Martina - she's truly the best and is such a helpful, communicates in excellent English if required and is such a welcoming, friendly face of the property. Highly recommend this property if you're staying in Palermo as you can use it as a base for day trips or just exploring all the local sights.

Well located hotel with lots of character and some quirkiness ( very decorated for Hallowe’en). Martina and her father were lovely and their hospitality turned a good stay into a wonderful one.

We had a hard time finding the place due to our late arrival after hours. The entry code that was emailed to us allowed us to enter with no problem. Keys were on the desk.
The location was great, close to restaurants, etc.
The rooms were clean with lots of room. Breakfast downstairs included fruit, yogurt, juice, pastries and more. The host made our cappuccinos each morning. She is very helpful and we enjoyed our stay. FYI there is no elevator. We were on the third floor.

Run by a beautiful family who are friendly and helpful. The rooms are not modern or the latest trend. But they are roomy, very clean and comfortable. The breakfast has a range of goodies that would satisfy anyone. The location is excellent also, with many restaurants close by.

Our room was clean and spacious and the terrace on the roof was pleasant for unwinding after busy days of walking. Our host and hostess were very helpful with every request. This lovely b&b was just as advertised and then some! Ciao and many thanks….Pat and Rosemary

We walked everywhere and felt safe at night going out for dinner. So many eating options close by. Hosts were nice. Martina speaks great English which was helpful for us. Enjoyed our stay.

I have nothing but good things to say about this place and the people in charge. This place exceeded my expectations. The hotel is a small family run (I think) place and the young ladies- Martina and Claudia are just wonderful. The building is an older but lovely place and impeccably clean. Probably my biggest issues when traveling is making sure the bathroom is clean- here, its is impeccable. The breakfast is a self serve with a good variety of pastries, cheese, cold meats, yogurts, fresh fruits, and the Ladies make your choice of hot beverage.
In addition, the place is within a 10-15 min walk to almost all the attractions.
I would have gladly paid more for this room and if I ever visit Palermo again, I will stay here.
