It was cleaned twice a day. Always fresh towels and at night a night time chocolate on your bedstand. The breakfast outstanding. A short walk to Main streets. Loved this hotell and its staff.

I had a tough time giving InCanto an average rating, because it was definitely not average. The good qualities were really great, but the bad qualities were really bad. First the good - The room was large & comfortable, located right in the middle of everything, a few steps away from the famous Four Corners. I loved the breakfast every day delivered right to our room. Lots of great places to eat and drink, and sights to see, just a short walk in every direction. Now the bad - InCanto is difficult to find, since the main entrance, the one with a sign, is inside a private building up on the 2nd floor (or 3rd floor for Americans.) There is no signage on the main streets, and only a tiny sign once you find the otherwise generic door located down an alley. I asked many locals for directions when I was only 1 -2 blocks away, and nobody had ever heard of it. The Four Corners is very close, and very LOUD. Live music starts early in the morning and continues until late at night. Well after midnight, after the music stops, people walk through the streets shouting & kicking beer bottles. It's never quiet, and you easily hear all the noise from inside the room with all the doors & windows closed. The front desk is only staffed in the morning, so when we could not find the place in the afternoon to check in, nobody was there to answer the phone. There's no elevator and no help, so be prepared to carry all of your own luggage up two flights of narrow stairs. We had a misunderstanding regarding our bill. It worked out fine in the end, but we couldn't just go to the front desk to fix it, we had to do everything online, so something that would have normally taken two minutes wind up taking half a day. Our room had a nice wood floor, but there were tiny nails sticking up through the floor. We normally don't wear shoes inside, but after having the nails tear our socks and poke the soles of our feet, we had to keep our shoes on. For me, the negatives outweighed the positives, and I would not stay here again or recommend this place to anyone else.

Overall a good hotel. Location is excellent, central to most of the major sights. Friendly and helpful staff. Very clean. Breakfast not too exciting. Our one big drawback was the advertised free parking is not free. It costs €10 a night and we were not made aware of this before hand. The parking garage is not based at the hotel but further down the street and is very difficult to drive to. Normal procedure is to call the hotel and they ask you to pull over on a busy road and a parking attendant will come and get you. He then keeps the car and car keys at his garage and will bring the car out on request from the hotel. The system worked well once we were aware but again it caused some stress and confusion on our first night driving around a busy city. And driving in Palermo is not for the faint hearted!

While visiting Herculaneum I booked a two night stay at Villa Durante. The service has been fantastic. Grazie mille Theresa! Check in was quick and easy, she was watching for me from her office. Once settled she asked what time I would like breakfast the next morning and told me to message her if I have any questions or need anything. Villa Durante has restaurant across the street and a wine shop downstairs. The room was excellent, just as described in my booking. Very clean and comfortable. I had a suite that had a small sitting area and balcony and then the bedroom upstairs. Very beautiful. Comfortable bed, many pillows. Towels, bathrobe, slippers and soaps included. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious and delivered to my room. Theresa was able to book a taxi to the airport for me when I leave and also made reservations for dinner at Vivo Lo Rei across the Street. I would highly recommend this beautiful and unique B&B. Very close to all the sights at Herculaneum and Pompeii. Grazie Mille!

This was my first time in the city of Palermo and I booked three nights at Palermi T'amo. It is a very nice top two floor duplex with shared common space. Everything is super clean, the host, Giovanni, is excellent, smart, attentive and a real Sicilian. Breakfast on the terrace is a treat in the chaos of this very lively city. The only issue I had was that there is quite a lot of nightlife below on the street every night....creating a bit of noise. Otherwise, a lovely stay!

Hotel consigliatoci da amici palermitani. Punti di forza: posizione a due passi dal centro; gentilezza e disponibilità del personale ed in particolare dell'onnipresente Luciano; buon servizio colazione (anche se avrei preferito qualche tipicità locale in più); tariffe decisamente sostenibili. In compenso il palazzo che ospita l'hotel (e un po' tutta la zona) necessiterebbe di un radicale restyling che, in verità, dovrebbe essere esteso anche ad alcune stanze (fra cui quella che ci ha ospitato). L'accesso alle stanze non è, comunque, dei più comodi. Pulizia e confort della stanza accettabili. Insomma se non si hanno grandissime pretese, può andar bene.

Durante il soggiorno ci ha offerto delle bottigliette di acqua fresca. La signora ha un gatto che ama farsi accarezzare dagli ospiti + Io e il mio amico siamo arrivati in struttura alle ore 14.00. La camera era già disponibile + Le camere sono spaziose e dotate di aria condizionata. I letti sono comodi + Il bagno in comune è spazioso e tenuto sempre pulito. Diversi prodotti per l’igiene personale sono a disposizione dei clienti + La colazione è abbondante. Ci sono caffè, latte, succhi di frutta, brioches, yogurt, pane con Nutella e marmellate, cereali + La connessione Wi-Fi è ottima - La struttura si trova al secondo piano di un palazzo un po’ vecchio - Via Roma è trafficata fin dalle prime ore del mattino. I rumori del traffico si sentono anche se si chiudono le imposte - Durante il soggiorno la camera non è mai stata pulita e i letti non sono mai stati rifatti

Disappointed. Glad for free parking. It's on the port front which is good for the view but also on a very busy road though we didn't hear it at night. Check in easy. Lift broke down once while we were there which is always scary. Room was sizable but lack of storage space, a massive bath in the middle of the room. Shower was strange. Bar was very limited. Breakfast was ok. Rather stay at standard ibis or pay more for a mecure.

This place has a very high standart of service and high quality accomodation itself. After quite bad experience with another hostel in Palermo i moved to Casa di amici and was very surprised by finding such a high standard of service This place is new, fully equiped, very clean, perfectly organised and have a very interesting design ( with elements of ethnografic exhibition- trafitional music instruments and other artefacts). I was happy when I found that my room was really big, with high ceilings, perfect conditioner and -what is rare in hostels-each guest had its own bed. Other rooms (kitchen, common area, terrase, balcony) are also big, clean, perfectly organised in each detail. Bathrooms looked completely new, with perfect and ideally clean everything. Receptionists put a lot of efforts in providing very high quality service. They were very friendly, responsible and professional. Thank you very much and I must say the owner and staff did and do a great job.
