Globales Palmanova

Had a weeks holiday here with the family mid October. Food is always freezing cold, everything tastes the same clearly all cooked in the same pan or something. Lack of options for vegetarians unless you want plain pasta and chips every night. No music round the pool not even quietly so lacks severely in atmosphere. Everyday the room is “cleaned” never clean sheets, never sweeped, never wiped sides down. Basically made a bed and emptied a bin. Got told we can’t have straws unless we have a cocktail. Not great for young children? All inclusive but no straws very strange. Rude lifeguard who doesn’t smile spends all his time vaping and eating and banning any medium size floats as it obstructs his view… Had to eat out most nights can’t bare cold food every day 3 times a day. Pool is baltic stupidly cold. Nice room if it’s only two of you. Way too small with the third bed could barely move. Asked if there was any other rooms got a smug rude receptionist. Animation team are the key to this hotel lovely staff, lovely kids club. Without them this rating would be a 1. I’ve stayed at Globales before and this is the worst one. Breakfast starts at 8am so can’t even grab something before our transfer. Will not be coming again. Too strict staff stopping people playing music on speakers quietly even though everyone loved it because it’s so boring round the pool! Hotel is right near the beach and bars and shops that another reason it got a star location is perfect .

The Hotel looks good from the outside but i was sick of seeing towels slung over the balcony(although there are signs telling you to refrain from it). Rooms are fine but not cleaned very well. We were staying for 2 weeks it was dirty. Found cockroaches but it wasnt dealt with. Food was okay but had to be microwaved to heat it up. We spent most of the holiday out of the hotel as you're well situated with fanastic pathways.

We booked this hotel at the very last minute, flying out just a few days later. When the coach dropped us off, I initially had doubts, thinking “What have we let ourselves in for?” However, those concerns quickly faded once we stepped into the bright and spotless reception area. Check-in was straightforward, though we felt slightly frustrated by the €45 fee to use the safe (with only €10 refundable at the end of our stay). It felt steep, but we paid for the peace of mind. We also had to pay the tourist tax which worked out about €36 for both of us. Our room, 115, was huge with two double beds, a fridge, kettle, TV with English channels, and a hairdryer in the bathroom. We had paid extra for a pool view, but while we could only see glimpses of the pool through the trees, the view was still pleasant. Most importantly, the room was exceptionally clean, comfortable and very spacious.. The food was a pleasant surprise. Despite being a bit of a fussy eater, there was only one night where I didn’t eat much. The variety each evening was fantastic, catering to both meat lovers and vegetarians. There were delicious options like joints of pork, lamb, and beef alongside a wide array of salads. My husband, with his sweet tooth, certainly made the most of the desserts! Breakfast was equally impressive, offering everything from cereals, fruit, cheeses and pastries to a full English breakfast spread. The snack bar had the usual burgers, hotdogs, pizza, and chips – perfect for a quick bite. One minor drawback was the pool bar service. It was slow, with just one staff member serving while another chatted nearby, which slowed things down. It would’ve been more efficient if both were serving, but it didn’t ruin the experience. The entertainment staff were fantastic, full of energy, and always trying to get people involved in activities. We particularly enjoyed the ****** night on Friday – great fun! Overall, we would stay here again. The location was convenient, just approximately 8-minute walk to the beach, shops, restaurants and taxis were easy to arrange through reception, always arriving within minutes. All in all, a great stay!

I’ll start with the positives, the hotel is beautiful and clean, the food plentiful with lots of choice. The entertainment staff especially Charlotte and Matao amazing and such good fun. The entertainment was fun and up beat. The pool is ok but I personally prefer a walk on pool but it was fine. Walking distance to the beach, restaurants and nightlife. The beds comfortable, tea and coffee making facilities in rooms, a fridge and hairdryer and the aircon was fab. The bad bits, the manager (I believe) jenny, was miserable and a real kill joy! Which was so disappointing and put a real dampener on the holiday, no smoking around the pool (which I understand) but no vaping? What on earth? It’s outside for goodness sake, no music around the pool, we had a speaker and she came and asked us to turn the music off yet everyone around us was quite happy tapping their feet and singing along, I walked to the snack bar and you couldn’t hear it. One of our guests had ants in their room but was moved on request, another had a couple of cockroaches and requested to move, the hotel was going to allow the move but with only 2 days to go we changed our minds. Would I stay at this hotel again? I doubt it but purely due to lack of fun around the pool. The rest of the staff were fabulous jenny let the team down!

So from airport to hotel bout 22 minutes ride in taxi. Arrived at hotel on 27th August for the week as a family of four two rooms. As soon as we checked in, get hit with room tax for two rooms, 78 pounds. We had room on the side of the hotel overlooking the pool area/game area. Room standard bit old and whirly so really wouldn't say 4 star more 3 star. But it was clean and did what I needed. No kettle or iron in room if you need these you have to rent them off a company which the receptionist will give u information about. Food in hotel: Breakfast was quite basic and wasn't the warmest!! From 11 till 5 in the pool area, amazing. just what you want, a round pool area and for lunch, snacks, burgers,hot dogs, pizza,onion rings,chips, cakes, so spot on. Evening if you aren't a fussy eater, u will be fine, but thought evening was very poor, but we ate out in the evening anyway, so it was fine. Drinks So all-inclusive can drink as u like longs, take cups back , and get another quite good as not dirty cups left everywhere. Branded drinks are at extra cost. Entertainment - So round the pool every day a very moody lifeguard. The pool area is so boring and not the best pool with the sun either some parts of the day but always the beach if get fed up of pool. They do play music on a boom box but same songs everyday. So for the entertainment team, they are amazing, especially JJ. Every day, a bit of pool exercise,darts golf. Night bingo karaoke quiz games. Hotel location Very very good location, so you are like a couple minute walk from the ***** of Palma Nova, which is lovely. The beaches are beautiful lovely bars and restaurants all walkable. You can also walk to Magaluf if you like even more nighlife bout 30 min walk but a really lovely enjoyable walk. We ate a lot in Magaluf a bar called Tom Brown's very English sea view and good prices on food and drinks. Also if you like a boujee restaurant try SiSo very nice. But all on all for what we paid for this hotel can't moan did what it needs had a lovely holiday.

We arrived at the hotel around 2ish with an hassle free check in. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and perfect for us, 3 stayed on the 3rd floor with a side view pool view. Love the bag that they give you to take out and about. We were AL the pool bar was fab, I actually think the token system is a good idea, otherwise the pool area would be littered with plastic cups, never had to wait long to be served. The dining area was very clean and well maintained. I have had any issues with food. I are very well all week. The staff here work very hard and are so friendly. The only problem we uncounted was the lift. Only two and only had 4 at a time. We walked down the stairs, but waiting to go up was a bit off a pain. Never had an issue with getting a sun bed no matter what the time was. Overall we had a very enjoyable stay. Definitely coming back.
