Martinez Apartments

Found these recently renovated apar**ents on trip advisor and we were not disappointed. Quiet location approximately 7 minute walk to the beach. Very well appointed with all rooms appearing to have balconies. If you want the sun ask to book rooms overlooking the pool. (Small but useful on hot days) check in was easy at a hotel just around the corner with a very helpful and friendly lady. Good size lounge/diner and bedroom with two single beds. Kitchenette had a microwave and hob (no oven) as well as an under outer fridge. Only disappoin**ent was that the fridge did not have a freezer compar**ent for ice. Would suggest these are added when the current fridges are replaced. Bathroom was a good size with a shower although as one or two other reviews have mentioned the sink is way to big for the available space and pretty much useless as the bowl was no more than an inch or so deep. No private parking on site but never had an issue finding a road side space. This may however be different in peak season.

Visited over Easter and were the first guests following a total refurbishment. They have done a great job! Fresh, airy and a really well equipped kitchen complete with grill microwave, kettle, toaster and 2 ceramic hob. Hairdryer in bathroom. Plenty of wardrobe space just missing an iron but probably could have asked. Would thoroughly recommend and look forward to returning.

I had been upgraded from the Naika apar**ents to the Martinez which was a really nice gesture, Antonio from the Hotel Gabarda was extremely helpful in the whole process as he was through out the week with any questions or information that i required.

Fab location, just 7 mins from the beach and food. We also got the local bus to travel to Palma (buses 104, 105, 106 & 107) & the airport (a11) a lot cheaper than Taxi & use Tap on Tap off with bank card. The bar is very reasonably priced Excellent and friendly staff Breakfast was amazing, with a great cook & selections. Aircon was great except the bedroom. Luggage room & showers for departure, they do offer late check-out at 20-30 Euro but they were fully booked. Pools were very well looked after, topped up and chemicals checked each day. No safe in the rooms, but you can rent a safety box around the corner from reception. Cleaning is every 2-3 days, we had to ask for more toilet roll from reception however Not very secure, just a lock and key for main door. Balcony is a hook and eye, the bedroom window didn't close fully so the hot air came in. Aircon didn't really reach the bedroom, had to set it on high fan and aiming at the bedroom to cool it down. Beds were a little hard but that's my preference!

It is a very good location we stayed out of season so some of the normal offering was not open but still a very good stay

We 2 stayed here for a week in early november 2021. We had aroom facing the mountains which was a bit on the cool side at this time of year - it gets more or less no sun - it miught be better in the summer. The view wasnt as great as the pics suggest. We had plenty of space, the place was very clean if a little dated. (the cleaners were great by the way). There was microwave and hob etc - enough to do a small meal but i wouldnt want to cook for four. The pool was on the small side and too cold in november. There are 2 supermarkets a few minutes walk away - one up the hill opposite. There are plenty of buses to palma on the road behind. The apar**ents are functional clean and generally OK and i would reccomend but i the end they are 2 star. The reecption out of season was a bit confusing. You need to telephone and they will help. The great thing is the location - it is an easy walk to the beach and the many restaurants and take aways on the front. You can also walk to the other palmanova beaches and to magalus in no time. There is also track/footpath which goes all the way to santa ponsa and beyond and east to Portals Nous and on. As we had a few days on goodd weather (spent on the beach) and a few or poor weather (still warmer than the UK) we did a lot of walking.

En trevlig och rymlig lägenhet som var ren och fräsch när vi checkade in. En ganska lugn gata men lite svårt att hitta parkeringsplats i närheten. Lite knepig kommunikation med värden men det löste sig till slut. Vi kommer gärna tillbaka.
