Most things about the hotel are lovely. The lobby is attractive and comfortable. Staff is friendly and helpful. The bed is comfortable, not too soft or too hard. The room is clean and well maintained. The lighting could be better, but fine. Breakfast has ample options. My big caution is to ask for a room that does not have windows on the central courtyard, because on nights with live music it is extremely loud until 10:30pm. It sounded like my windows were open when they were latched tightly, and I could barely hear myself think.

Great location to walk around with bars and restaurants in the neighborhood. Super friendly staff and really nice rooms. Also great breakfast with lots of options.

Excellent choice in Panama City, the rooms are perfect, neighbourhood is great with endless number of restaurants. Continental breakfast is amazing. We stayed here for 10 days, however 1 single issue did confuse & upset us: Here was the scenario explained to them: - 10 nights of stay - guest A&B stayed for the first 6 days. - guest A alone 7th day - guest A&C the last 3 nights. Told them upfront that 1 guest leaves & another will join later. They charged $27.5/day, admin fee to change a guest name!? This was after suggesting that we cancel with Trip.com & rebook again with the correct names. We told them it doesn’t make sense to do that & it was disappointing that they couldn’t offer any solution to a customer who just gave them 10 days of business & being a Riu Class member loyal to this chain.

The Hotel is extremely clean, very good security on premises. The hotel staff is very polite and helpful. The rooms are very roomy and the beds are extremely confortable. The restaurant has good variety of dishes, specially during breakfast.

Hotel in a quiet lane with nice coffee shops around and a good gym. Pool was out of service and room decors could do with an upgrade. Bathroom size was very good

Good hotel overall and great location in Panama. Safe area and easy access to sightseeing spots. Only issue is I was told I would get upgraded due to my Marriott Gold Status but at check-in I did not receive an upgrade. I was told it was fully booked, however, I know that wasn’t the case.

The attitude of the front desk and the concierge service is very good. The water in the shower is very small and the water pressure is insufficient. On the day I left, a very unpleasant incident happened. I am 100% sure that my passport was placed on the sink, but I suddenly found it No, I thought I was screwed, but finally found it under the mattress! Who's insane to put a passport under a mattress? It's not clear that I want them to help find it, and give a tip if I find it? I advise everyone to be optimistic about your passport, and don't give them any chance to hide your passport!

Das hotel befindet sich in einer guten Lage relativ zentral gelegen vieles ist zu Fuß zu erreichen (auch wenn man mal länger laufen muss). Die Zimmer beinhalten TV und Klimaanlage aber wirken einwenig runtergekommen/altbacken und sind vergleichsweise sehr laut bzw lassen geräusche stark durch fenster und türen durch. Die Küche sowie die Utensilien (Pfanne, besteck, Küchengeräte usw) waren weder optisch noch hygienisch in einem guten Zustand. Wer diese benutzen will muss sie erstmal gründlich putzen. Das Essen war gut allerdings ist nicht genau beschrieben was man da isst Beispielsweise bestell man ein beef burger (auf anfrage wird gesagt das es sich nur um beef also Rind handele) und dieser ist mit S*****en bestückt was nirgendwo beschrieben wird obwohl vieles im menü steht aber eben nicht alles. Diverses sachen aus dem Menü kann man nicht bestellen ein grund wird nicht genannt nur das man diese nicht bestellen kann. Das ein und auschecken verlief relativ entspannt und problemlos. Ein großes Manko ist das die Mitarbeiter fast ausschließlich nur spanisch sprechen außer beim Check-in desk da wird zusätzlich englisch gesprochen.

I was in Panama City, Panama for Memorial Day Weekend 2023. For breakfast I dined at the La Brasserie restaurant every morning. My waitress, Oreida Roman, made me feel welcome every time. She was always friendly, smiled beautifully, and made sure that the restaurant met my expectations. If I come back to Panama in the near future I will be staying at the Marriott Sortis Hotel and will be dining at La Brasserie. Thank you Oreida and keep being the outstanding waitress that you are.
