Overall, we enjoyed the holiday. We were a party of 6 with a 2yo child and an 11yo child. PROS- The food in the main restaurant is really good. Plenty of choice. The hotel is really clean. The views are fantastic. The water park is really good. Drinks are generally good. Beach and sea are great. The staff are generally helpful. CONS- Access isn't easy. Even with the train, getting around is a bit of a mission. There's steps everywhere. If you've got young children, you need a good pram for bouncing down steps. The main pool area is too cramped, you're never more than 6ft from someone's sunbed. Fine, if you want to relax all day, not good if you've kids. The whole complex is a little cramped because it's on the side of a hill. The food at the other restaurants and bars isn't very good. The Italian a la carte was just a buffet. There's not much choice at the beach or water park, so it's a case of tackling the steps to the main restaurant. Certain drinks like pina colada aren't included in the all-inclusive during the day, but they are at night! That's just odd! There's no bar stacks (nuts/crisps) available. The day before we left, we had all the children's beach/pool toys taken from outside our room. We didn't find anyone using them, so I presume the hotel staff moved/took them. Reception didn't have any knowledge of it! My 11yo daughter also had a purse with 90 euros in it go missing from the room. Yes, it should have been in the safe, but I didn't know she had it. Overall, we enjoyed it, but some things weren't what we expected from a 5 star hotel (even in Europe), so I don't think we'd go back.

The whole resort and accomodation is so beautiful! The staff are so lovely and friendly! The food is delicious and the facilities, and entertainment have been next level and have elevated our holiday to the next level!! Highly recommend a visit to the Aegeo Spa in the resort - ask for Rafael if you’re wanting the most amazing Cretan Massage and Aloe Glow treatment of your life!! ❤️❤️❤️. My two daughters also enjoyed a wonderful Calm Sea and Flow & Glow massage from Christos and Iraklis! My daughters tell me they feel like liquid gold after their treatments! Can’t than the team at Fodele Beach Resort enough for making this, a holiday of a lifetime, and creating core memories that will always be with us

Hotel very clean and well-kept. Service very nice. Pool clean and water in the pool perfect for cooling off. Rooms clean and cleaned every day, the only minus - doors between rooms, through which you can hear everything. Food very tasty. Hotel adapted to families with children. If you want to come here and relax in silence, unfortunately you will not experience it here. Warm greetings to Suzi and Maja from pink wave, who devoted their time to us every day and to Poppy from the pool bar, who greeted us every day with her smile and kindness.

We had a fantastic time here. Fodele Beach is a fantastic place for families with many water slides to keep children busy and happy. The food was delicious and very varied, with theme nights like fish night or Asian night. You can eat healthy or enjoy richer dishes, there is something for everyone. The pools are very nice and access to the sandy beach is easy. We definitely recommend Fodele Beach for a fantastic all-inclusive holiday.

Great stay and wonderful family holiday. This is honestly the best food I’ve had at an all inclusive and we’ve been to a few 5 star resorts, though the a la carte didn’t really match the standard of the buffets. The beach is beautiful. Popi on the cocktail bar was exceptional, really friendly and remembered returning customers orders whilst keeping the place immaculate. Our daughter loved the entertainment and the water park is great. Only slight issue was we found our room slightly underwhelming considering we got one of the superior ones, plus we had a leak in the ceiling during a storm. But overall we had a 5 star holiday with great memories

Very good hotel, the problem for us was the accessibility with a 5 month baby, all stairs and we needed to ask to move a room , other then that the staff and hotel excellent , nice food, rooms are very comfortable,the beds are fine , not enough pools but are okand very nice

We loved our time at Fodele.. From arrival it was amazing. Super friendly staff with attentive and helpful service. Beatrice and Geena, Popi, Happy, George and Stella to name a few stand outs. The room was cool and comfortable, the food was fantastic. The facilities in the hotel were great. The ocean pool was far less busy than the main - which was very instagram friendly. It didn’t seem like there were nearly 1200 people on site! We loved every minute.

We had a great stay. Staff were responsive and dealt with things quickly and effectively. Room was good (sunset) and worked well for a family (7yo and 9yo) - not particularly smart but clean and as needed. Pool was a nightmare - could never get a space and people reserved beds all day not returning for hours - every time we used the main pool we were perched on the wall. Always space at the beach / waterpark though. We didn’t rate the entertainment - although we didn’t go each night - kept the kids up for the fireworks and waited 45min later and gave up. The kids club also seemed weaker than others we’ve experienced. Food was good but not as good as I’ve seen in other similar resorts. Both al a cart places were excellent (starters at Greek very good) and the beach BBQ was great - we enjoyed sitting in the gazebo the last evening but ate there quite a bit. We did the sailing organised by the hotel and also loved it. All in all - it was great.. Staff were brilliant and really on it. Area is quite but easy to get the bus in to town / sites locally.

Just returned from a fabulous 10 day holiday at Fodele beach. The most beautiful setting with sea views and mountains all around. Great food and lovely hotel. We travelled with an 11 year old so having the train up to the water park was a big hit and the entertainment team work hard to put on daily events. I was treated to a treatment at the spa for my birthday and special thanks to VASILIKA who gave me the best massage I’ve ever had, so good! Would recommend
