Hotel 2 bintang Paris Daerah 10

This is a very basic budget hotel, pretty rough around the edges, but in a great location with a friendly team running it. My friend and I had single rooms on the second and third floors, staying two nights before and after running the Paris marathon. Our rooms had separate en suite toilets and shower rooms, both only just big enough for their purpose, but enough for what we needed. The water in the shower was pretty cool in the mornings but had heated up for a hot shower after the marathon on Sunday! The single beds were comfy and a small fridge and kettle were provided in the rooms for drinks. For sure this is not a luxury hotel but for those prices what would you expect? Less than 10 minute walk from gare du nord and gare de l’est it is superbly connected to public transport and has some lively bars and restaurants in the surrounds area. My only real complaint is that the plumbing was very noisy, with toilets flushing around the building sounding loudly in my room, and one toilet flush getting stuck for a long time at 5 am the night before the marathon. But otherwise, if you are looking for a cheap hotel in Paris you could do a lot worse than staying here.

pas de souci de propreté, literie confortable, salle de bains de bonne taille. Les 2 sachets de gel douche un peu juste, mais on m'en a fourni d'autres sans difficultés. Le buffet petit déjeuner n'est pas un buffet : un seul morceau de pain et une seule viennoiserie, pas de charcuterie et seulement de la vache qui rit en fromage, et la théière trop petite. il faut faire un vrai buffet.

Great location right opposite the GdN station. Loads of restaurants and cafes nearby. Small room with tiny a bathroom but ok for one night. Very basic breakfast. Good VFM.

A lovely, fuss free stay at Hotel Altona. Perfect location, lovely staff, comfortable and clean. Exactly what we needed for a quick Paris trip! Can recommend if you don’t want to spend tons of money, and need somewhere to lay your head

I had booked for 3 nights at the New Hotel but unfortunately missed my train and had to arrive the next day. On arrival I was taken around the corner to Hotel Richmond. I was given a room on the 6th floor and the room did look exactly the same as the room pics from New Hotel so it didn't worry me too much. The room was clean, well presented and with a huge updated bathroom. The room was on the 6th floor and was very quiet. Bed was comfortable and the water pressure of the shower was good. The shower head was a little low but as I am only 5'4 it was fine for me but anyone taller may not be able to get their head under. The room also had a split system air con/heater which was great. The guys on the front desk were very nice and helpful. The hotel is right across the road from Gare Du Nord so a perfect position to travel from as you have the Metro, buses , RER and International trains from the one place. Was very happy with my choice for a short stay in Paris.

The hotel is simple but very cute. Our room was large enough, comfy bed, the bathroom was well equipped and the shower was good too. The breakfast was a good surprise- a variaty of itens such as fresh breads and croissants, cheese, yogurts, pain au chocolat, fresh juices, cereal... The staff is friendly and always ready to help. The hotel is very close to Gard Du Nord and to metro stations which makes turistic points more easy to access.

It’s an affordable hotel that is clean and very central. Most metro stations are very close, one is right next to the hotel. The main train stations are very close by (including Eurostar). We stayed on the sixth floor, which has a fantastic view (you can even see the Eiffel Tower). The room was cleaned on a daily basis. There is a 24 hour reception, which is great if you want to check in late/ leave the keys. We had options to leave our luggage before and after arrival (check-in). Additionally, there is an elevator that takes you all the way up to your room. The private bathroom has a shower and fresh towels were provided every day. We walked to all of the main attractions as Paris isn’t that big. The hotel has a great public transport connection to Disneyland as well. The staff at the hotel is very friendly and will give you advice if you need it. We enjoyed our stay, and would definitely recommend the hotel! Info: I read that some reviews mentioned that the area doesn’t seem safe. It is a train station area and almost every big city can be quite busy close to train stations, so yeah, you will see lots of homeless people that might ask you for money, however, there’s nothing wrong with that. The area is probably one of the more affordable location for Parisian, which we as Londoners can relate to. We had no bad encounter, and no one tried to steal our money, you will be absolutely fine! If you come from a big city like we do, you won’t have any issues. Again, most attractions are close by and the main roads take you directly to your destination.
