Hotel berhampiran Bambous Garden, Paris

I’ve just spent 3 nights at this hotel for a business trip. Whilst the hotel is situated outside the center of Paris there is a Metro station close by which will get you directly into Paris within 20 minutes for the cost of €2. Before booking I was a little worried about how dated the rooms looked from the pictures online however it seems that they have been recently refurbished, and whilst still a little rough around the edges, they are perfectly functional. My room had a comfortable double bed, small kitchen area with sink and cooking facilities. The toilet was separate from the bathroom and the bathroom contained shower gel/soap, a hair dryer, and bath/shower combo. Unfortunately there was no iron/ironing board provided but this wasn’t a major issue for me personally, but something to be aware of. My room had nice views and a large window which meant it was quite well lit, which was for the best considering some of the lights didn’t work! Overall a nice enough room that was spacious and contained a good amount of facilities. Could do with some further TLC but overall it is a good hotel for the price.

This is a Bio (Organic) Italian restaurant, a very short walk from the Tour de Eiffel. The service (in both French and English was friendly and prompt. We ordered from the Plat du Jour - Spaghetti Carbonara and the Veal Milanese with a hot goats cheese salad to start and a absolutely delicious tiramisu for dessert all for the grand price of 15 Euros each. Everything we had was absolutely delicious and despite the fact that we live quite far away in the 5th, we will be returning here again for sure. Certainly worth trying this place out!

First things first, there effectively is no Lennon Hotel. There is no reception there and no breakfast room. Everything from the administration on is done through the Avalon Hotel next door so, make the assumption that you are going to the Avalon and you will not get lost or confused. The decor is both dated and modern at the same time. I would say, typically French so I am glad they didn't go all chain hotel and boring. The Bedroom - The choice of furniture I would question. In some pictures you can see what looks like a coat rack. This is the 'wardrobe' in the room. There are 6 hooks which may or may not have 6 hangers. Beneath that could well be a full size laptop safe (free to use) and under that, what I would have used as the shoe shelf. There really isn't anywhere for smaller items at all, they likely will stay in your luggage. With the lighting it's either bright or very bright so, there wasn't really an option to have it dimly lit though there are a selection of ceiling light, wall lamps and table lamps, they are all bright. Our room (100) was not a king size bed, I feel 4' 6” as it was certainly smaller than we are used to. In many pictures it shows the white bed pillows supplemented by small blue (green) ones. This is certainly not the case with every room. The Bathroom - I can but speak for our room as I understand other rooms have different configurations. We had a walk in shower with a rain shower head and a hand held spray adjusted using ornate handles. The toilet was on the wall. I personally don't like those, I feel incredibly unsafe especially when they creak like this one did when sat on. To make it worse, we're only 5' 3” and it's just too high, we felt like 5 year olds in need of a step stall. I wondered if this might not be aimed at wheelchair users as I am disabled but I do not use a chair but a mobility scooter (which there was plenty of room for). Then I consider the sink which is high up, too high for a wheelchair user. Of course, there is no chair in the shower either so, if it is meant to be an accessible room, it kind of isn't. The walls are done in tiles. Very mismatched tiles, not sure whether that was intentional or just years of different repairs and replacements. I feel that the light blue small square tiles were original but that when the shower, toilet and sink were last done they were not replicable so got replaced with blue rectangle tiles. The floor tiles are probably original but very worn and though they may have been, I never felt they were clean. Being a walk in shower the water got everywhere and the floor remained wet all night so we kept a towel on the floor by the door. Us British might find it weird to see a hairdryer in the bathroom right next to the sink, I think a plug socket too! The large round mirror was supposed to light up with a touch switch but, we never got it to work. Tout d’abord, tout le monde à l’hôtel a fait de son mieux pour résoudre et répondre à nos besoins. l'hôtel était plutôt complet et ils nous ont surclassés dans une chambre avec plus d'espace. les chambres disponibles étaient assez intérieures, sans les fenêtres que l'on voit sur le site du Marriot. La salle de bain avait une baignoire et une douche et était très grande avec certaines pièces montrant de nombreux signes d'utilisation. La pression de l'eau était faible et l'eau coulait jusqu'au sol à cause d'une mauvaise conception. Malgré beaucoup d'espace, il y avait peu d'endroits pour placer nos articles d'hygiène et un accès peu pratique. Ma fille s'est plainte du miroir qui rendait difficile le maquillage. La salle du petit-déjeuner sent beaucoup de graisse et de nourriture et l'odeur persiste sur les vêtements, le petit-déjeuner ressemble plus à un hôtel 4* à Paris. Le lit était très confortable et nous avons bien dormi, il manquait des choses comme choisir des oreillers, faire le lit ou prendre du chocolat au coucher. Notre chambre était bordée de bois et disposait de nombreux espaces de rangement, de matériel de repassage, d'un canapé et d'une table. Il y avait une télévision qu'on ne pouvait regarder que depuis le lit et c'était très envahissant. Malgré sa grande taille, il occupait un espace pour le moins discutable. Cela ressemble vraiment plus à un 4* qu'à un 5*. Nous avions réservé 3 nuits mais n'y sommes restés qu'une, et le personnel a compris et nous a beaucoup aidé pour que nous puissions repartir sans pertes majeures.

Saya ingin mengatakan bahawa kami sangat berpuas hati dengan perkhidmatan, semuanya sangat cantik, pemandangannya menakjubkan, tetapi kami mempunyai sesuatu untuk dikatakan, kami tidak begitu berpuas hati kerana kami mendapat alahan dari permaidani yang tidak kelihatan sangat bersih (memerlukan lebih banyak perhatian), tetapi pemandangannya sempurna dan perkhidmatannya hebat.

Un accueil souriant, des personnes aux petits soins pour ses clients. L’Aparthotel est neuf, propre et décoré avec goût. Le studio est chaleureux, et très bien équipé. Le petit-déjeuner est complet. Bref, un établissement à conseiller et découvrir si vous vous rendez dans le coin 👍🏼

Stayed here to be close to Disneyland, only 12 minute walk to the park!!! It’s the closest non-Disney hotel to the park, and very glad we chose it. The room itself was good, a little apartment with all the amenities you would need, nothing fancy but good! Bed was comfy, shower was nice. Staff friendly, easy to check in. (first time using trip.com for anything and was worried our booking was going to be non-existent as the price was so cheap compared to other websites, but it was all fine!) It’s also close to the main shopping centre in val d’europe (about a 14 minute walk). the train station in val d’europe is a little further walk, we found that walking to Marne la ville chessy train station at Disneyland was actually closer and faster to get too! All in all, would highly recommend here if you want to be very close to Disneyland, dont bother using shuttles and things, just walk!
