Receptionist were really really nice and they were super kind and friendly. Amazing location so I can go to shopping, groceries and tour. Reasonable price, highly recommended!

An old hotel in a great location. The service is good, and the receptionists are polite and ready to help. Although the facilities are a bit old, the price is reasonably low. I would recommend it to those who pursuits a cost-effective stay.

酒店位置十分方便，街口前後都有地鐵站，對面有家樂福晚上10點還在營業，酒店樓下亦有很多早餐店和餐廳。 酒店設施全都十分細小，電梯很小，4個人已經十分緊迫了，樓層和房間的設計都十分懷舊，古典味濃。 唯一有點兒不足的是床上用品應該不是一客一換的，只是換張小墊子隔開被褥。

臨時訂的，入住後感覺還不錯。5區治安尚可，但是離周邊地鐵站有一點距離，房間較小，總體性價比不錯。

ダブルルーム（ダブルベッド一つ）のお部屋に宿泊しました。陽当たりがよく、テラスのある部屋でとても明るく清潔感があります。広すぎず狭すぎずです。Ｌサイズのスーツケース２つを広げるスペースがなかったので、椅子や台を使い工夫して広げていました。金庫、冷蔵庫、テレビ、机と椅子二つずつあります。枕と毛布が余分に一つずつ用意されていました。少し肌寒い昼寝時に使えて便利でした。テレビは壁掛けになっていて、位置が高いです。寝転んで見るのがベストな感じでした。シャワーに浴槽がついています。シャワールームにもテラスへの扉があって、少し開けて入ると開放感があります。なんと言っても立地が良く、徒歩圏内で、パンテオン、パリ植物園、ノートルダム大聖堂、サンテティエンヌ教会、リュクサンブール宮殿、ポンヌフなどがあります。メトロ10番と7番の駅も近く、観光地へ30分前後であちこちへ行く事ができます。テラスからのパリ市内のオシャレな街並みを見るのが楽しみでした。道路に面しているので、少し騒音は気になりますが、気になる場合は窓を閉めれば問題ないです。エアコンは、なぜか長押ししないとスイッチがつきませんでした。受付のおじさまはいつも親切で優しく素敵な方々でした。チェックアウトの時、日本語で簡単な挨拶をくださり、嬉しかったです。パン屋、スーパー、文房具、日用品、本などなんでも周辺で揃います。朝食は食べていません。地下のお部屋でした。

年末に利用、部屋とバスルームにスチーム管が通ってて温かく洗濯物を乗せると乾く。確かにシャワー室狭い。やり方を間違うとシャワーでシャワー前の床がビシャビシャになる。毎日掃除してくれてタオルを替えてくれる。歯ブラシ歯みがき無し。コップは紙コップ。飲むお湯は一階のフロント前のコーナーまで行かないとゲット出来ない。治安は悪くない。近くのブーランジェリーは２軒ともとても美味しいし店員さんも気さくで良い。地下鉄の駅や観光地へのアクセス良い。フロントのおじさんたちは、気さくで良い。タクシーの予約出来た。そのタクシーの運転手さん15分前から玄関前に待機してくれた。パリの人たちわりとせっかち。

The location is most convenient. Much of the center of Paris is quite walkable from the hotel. Several Metro stops within a block or two. The hotel is on the edge of a 1st century AD Roman arena rediscovered in the early 20th c. Many restaurants, cafes, shops in the immediate area. No frills but excellent value for money.

If you want to shoot a 70’s movie this hotel is great. Everything is dated. Facade, lobby, blankets as bedding, etc Positives hard to find except proximity to metro. And rue monge is nice street. Hotel is also very noisy you can hear everything.

Absolutely excellent stay. Nice room, good size. Air Conditioner. Nice balcony. Friendly helpful staff. Clean. Staff really were excellent. Good breakfast. Great location. Close to two metro stops and a ton of restaurants and even a local market. Firm bed. Good showers. Could not be happier. Good value. Hidden gem. Really pleased.

Comfortable room in good location near the Pantheon, 20min walk from Notre Dame, close to Jardin de Plants and many restaurants along Rue Mouffetard. The room was a reasonable size for Paris with a small balcony, good WiFi & shower. The air con occasionally malfunctioned but this was only a minor issue. I did not try breakfast but there is a coffee machine in reception for €1. Very pricy when I stayed

Fantastic location in Latin Quarter. Front desk staff are friendly and helpful. Lobby is comfortable with vending machines, hot water. Rooms could use some updating- especially removal of carpet and installation of new flooring. Bedding also needs to be updated. The room is small, but ok since we spent very little time in it. A nice feature is the small balcony with doors that open.

Spent 4 days in the Hotel with my adult son. The purpose of the trip was pleasure and photography. The location in the 1st was convenient for the Metro. The room included 3 comfortable beds although not spacious. The room was normal size by EU standards. Reception was helpful and spoke English well. Breakfast was plentiful and had a good variety. The area contained a good assortment of restaraunts. My single negative comment was the absence of any english speaking television stations. I recommend this hotel for a solo or couples visit.

Paris is about making the most of your time and that is the secret of Hotel des Arenes. Set in the heart of the Latin Quarter, there is so much on your doorstep! The Latin Quarter itself (near the Sorbonne) is vibrant and also represents the best value place to eat or drink in Paris. Hop on the Metro and all other major landmarks are minutes away. However I recommend a first morning walk to Notre Dame, then work your way down the Seine to all other sites and sounds. The Hotel des Arenes is all you need for a short stay. Friendly and attentive staff, clean and adequate rooms (with safe and fridge), continential breakfast and if you feel fit enough, a straight line walk to the Champs Elysees! It sits besides a Roman arena that is 2000 years old, you know you are in the heart of Paris.
