Room was very basic and sparse. No kettle in the room so you need to go down to the lobby for hot water. Water provided but at the lobby. However breakfast was very good and the location was near the train station.

It's very inconvenient for us to accommodate the hotel. No boiling kettle and cups to drink inside the room, all need to go downstairs to ask for help. Of course, no tea bags or coffee bags.

Relatively safe district to stay in Paris. There are convenience stores near by, but a bit far from main attraction points - 20 mins of Uber ride. Good service, we checked in relatively late but there were still friendly staff to help. Poor cleanliness however, they have not cleaned the dirt on the floor.

I arrived at around 10pm and was told there were no rooms available. I had to move to the Mercure next door. I figured the room would be full of tourists, so I had to wait a long time for my room card. I also had to wait a long time for the elevator (there were indeed too many tourists). There was a strong smell when I entered the room, and the window wouldn't open, and the air conditioner didn't work. I called the front desk and they hung up, and then they never answered again. It was a hot and humid night, and I was so sleepy that I had to force myself to sleep. To be honest, I spent almost two thousand a night, which is not as good as two or three hundred. There was not even a bottle of water, let alone a toothbrush and toothpaste. I was speechless.

The location is average. It's a bit far from the center of Paris, but if you want to transfer, it's quite recommended if it's cheap, convenient and clean.

I went through the check-in procedure in a confusing manner in French and English, but the man at the counter was very kind and thorough. It was very helpful for me to keep my luggage with me on the day I returned.
