Hotel berhampiran Paris est toujours Paris(Passage Jouffroy), Paris

Vivant à l’étranger je cherchais à me loger dans ce quartier qui pour moi est le meilleur pour les visites et l’animation sur Paris. L’an dernier j’avais logé dans la même rue dans un hôtel 4 étoiles qui n’existe plus car en totale rénovation. Comme tout était bien complet et bien plus cher cette année sur Paris, je me suis rabattu sur le Royal Bergère. Réservation faite sur le site de l’hôtel avec 100 % de frais si je ne venais pas. 6 nuits du 23 au 29 novembre 2022. 120.00 € la nuit en chambre double pour 2 personnes. Réception : accueil ni sympathique ni antipathique, neutre mais professionnel. J’avais été déjà débité vu les 100 % de frais en cas d’annulation. On m’a demandé ma carte bancaire pour au départ régler les taxes de séjour. Je n’ai pas pris le petit déjeuner car la « salle » est vraiment horrible, petite, sans fenêtre juste à côté de l’ascenseur. De toute faon il y a du choix partout autour de l’hôtel pour les petits déjeuners (mais cela vous coûtera plus cher que dans cet Hôtel car le prix est de 10.00 €). Ascenseur minuscule (2 valises + 2 personnes). Chambre : Notre chambre était située sur la rue. Très bonne insonorisation. Très bonne literie même si le lit est en 1m40 donc petit pour 2 à mon avis. Durant nos 6 nuits nous n’avons jamais été dérange par qui que ce soit (voisin, couloir, femme de chambre). Parfait. La chambre était assez grande. La salle de bain avec baignoire équipée d’une douche avec un rideau. Chauffe serviettes (J’adore). Il y a des couvertures et des oreillers supplémentaires dans la chambre et la chambre dispose d’un assez grand placard qui ferme avec portes coulissantes. TV écran plat. Tout est propre. Parties communes : A côte de la réception il y a un grand écran TV avec salon. Je n’en vois pas l’utilité. Il n’y avait jamais personne en 7 jours. Pourquoi ne pas agrandir la salle de Petits déjeuners dans cet espace afin d’avoir un espace plus convivial donnant sur la Rue ? Les plantes vertes dans la vitrine (que l’on peut voir sur les photos de la façade de l’Hôtel) sont moches et font « hôtel poussiéreux) De nombreux commentaires sur Tripadvisor sont à mon avis injustifiés ! J’ai payé 120€ par nuit ce qui pour Paris n’est pas si cher. C’est à mon avis un juste prix. Pour ce tarif il ne faut pas vous attendre a du luxe ! Ce qui fait que les gens sont mécontents c’est la décoration qui est vraiment moche, froide, d’un autre âge. Mais c’est propre, calme, le lit est bon et la situation idéale avec vue sur les Folies Bergères et a 5 minutes à pied du Metro. Que voulez-vous de plus ? Juste face a l’hôtel il y a une laverie automatique qui m’a bien servi après 15 jours de voyages en France. Lors de mon prochain séjour sur Paris je reviendrais c’est certain.

Very close to metro station and the receptionist is helpful. Luggage storage is provided but not seemed very safe. We do not have hot water in one day of our stay, the receptionist explained clearly and helped us.

First things first, there effectively is no Lennon Hotel. There is no reception there and no breakfast room. Everything from the administration on is done through the Avalon Hotel next door so, make the assumption that you are going to the Avalon and you will not get lost or confused. The decor is both dated and modern at the same time. I would say, typically French so I am glad they didn't go all chain hotel and boring. The Bedroom - The choice of furniture I would question. In some pictures you can see what looks like a coat rack. This is the 'wardrobe' in the room. There are 6 hooks which may or may not have 6 hangers. Beneath that could well be a full size laptop safe (free to use) and under that, what I would have used as the shoe shelf. There really isn't anywhere for smaller items at all, they likely will stay in your luggage. With the lighting it's either bright or very bright so, there wasn't really an option to have it dimly lit though there are a selection of ceiling light, wall lamps and table lamps, they are all bright. Our room (100) was not a king size bed, I feel 4' 6” as it was certainly smaller than we are used to. In many pictures it shows the white bed pillows supplemented by small blue (green) ones. This is certainly not the case with every room. The Bathroom - I can but speak for our room as I understand other rooms have different configurations. We had a walk in shower with a rain shower head and a hand held spray adjusted using ornate handles. The toilet was on the wall. I personally don't like those, I feel incredibly unsafe especially when they creak like this one did when sat on. To make it worse, we're only 5' 3” and it's just too high, we felt like 5 year olds in need of a step stall. I wondered if this might not be aimed at wheelchair users as I am disabled but I do not use a chair but a mobility scooter (which there was plenty of room for). Then I consider the sink which is high up, too high for a wheelchair user. Of course, there is no chair in the shower either so, if it is meant to be an accessible room, it kind of isn't. The walls are done in tiles. Very mismatched tiles, not sure whether that was intentional or just years of different repairs and replacements. I feel that the light blue small square tiles were original but that when the shower, toilet and sink were last done they were not replicable so got replaced with blue rectangle tiles. The floor tiles are probably original but very worn and though they may have been, I never felt they were clean. Being a walk in shower the water got everywhere and the floor remained wet all night so we kept a towel on the floor by the door. Us British might find it weird to see a hairdryer in the bathroom right next to the sink, I think a plug socket too! The large round mirror was supposed to light up with a touch switch but, we never got it to work. There is something about this hotel that takes you back to times past. Loved the winding staircase, the grafitti on the walls. We stayed in the urban room, which was minimalist, with concrete pipe sections for some of the furniture, street style paintings on the walls, ceiling beams painted red. View from the room was out onto a square which was fascinating to see the various characters throughout the day. very comfortable bed, decent shower room. Breakfast is taken down in the cellar, past more grafitti on the walls, loved it. Breakfast is more in the traditional french style, with bread and croissant served in a basket supplememted by cereal and yogurt. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. This hotel may not be to everyone's taste, but we loved it. The atmosphere and the location were good. Would visit again.

The hotel is not in the tourist spot areas but staying here is comfortable for a solo travellers. The room is very basic but its clean. If u look for halal food, its just a walking distance. There is a Monoprix store next to the hotel for apparel and groceries needs. The bed is comfy even it is simple. The staff is very helpful. What summarise it as it was above my expectations for a budget hotel.

酒店在肖蒙公園旁邊，離最近的metro line7B步行5分鐘，到老佛爺，巴黎春天百貨再轉7號線，也就是%0幾分鐘。地理位置鬧中取靜，是6月新裝修的酒店，硬件設施很OK，也很智能。提供中文服務就是無障礙溝通，辦理check in 的是一位中國小姐姐，非常親切，熱心熱情接待！BTW早餐的培根太好吃了!

It's my first time traveling to Paris, and it's my 4th hotel on this trip. The location was perfect for us since we would like to go to Saint Michel. The receptionist was really nice, and the *** when checking in was smart, polite, and helpful. Our room was upgraded, and it got a wonderful view because the hotel was a tall building around Paris. And it's very important, I feel like I am on the 2nd floor of Tour Eiffel. Lovely people, lovely location, lovely room. Definitely will book again when I go to Paris again!

My husband and I stayed in a Superior Double Room for two days at the beginning of March. We had a wonderful view of the park and the Eiffel Tower. The room is beautiful to look at, but a little damaged in some parts (for example the shower). The biggest problem of the room was the ventilation system, as it smelled of the drain several times. The cleaner does her job, as she cleans the room daily, but the problem is exclusively ventilation. I might also point out that you can hear the chairs being moved in the bar in the room. I would also suggest that a different choice of breakfast be made every day, as it was the same breakfast twice. However, I would like to conclude by praising the staff, who were friendly at all times.

Wir hatten in den vergangenen vier Tagen in diesem Hotel gewohnt. Sehr zufrieden waren wir mit dem Personal an der Rezeption, denn es war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Mit dem uns zugeteilten Zimmer waren wir im Großen und Ganzen auch zufrieden, allerdings war dieses ziemlich klein für uns, weil wir mit unserer 6-jährigen Tochter angereist waren und nach dem Aufblasen ihres Luftbettes blieb im Zimmer so gut wie kein Platz mehr. Der Tisch war sehr klein und es gab nur einen Stuhl dort. Der Bereich der kleinen Küche war bezüglich des Herdes abgeschlossen. Es gab auch so gut wie keinen Geschirr. Dies haben wir uns aufgrund der Hotelfotos anders vorgestellt. So blieb uns von der Küche quasi nur der Kühlschrank. Nicht besonders gut fanden wir auch, dass trotz unserer Erinnerung an der Rezeption es fast durchgehend vergessen wurde, für unsere Tochter Handtücher zu hinterlassen. Das Badezimmer war nicht besonders groß, aber gut ausgestattet. Der sehr große Minuspunkt war für uns der Umstand, dass ausgerechnet während unseres Aufenthalts die U-Bahn-Verbindung mit Paris nicht funktionierte, weil für mehrere Tage Schienenersatzverkehr eingerichtet wurde. So wurde aus einer Entfernung zu Paris Stadtmitte anstatt ca 30 Minuten ca 60 Minuten, dazu auch noch 2 bis 3 Mal umsteigen. Dafür kann das Hotel zwar nichts, aber wenn man nicht einplant, nach Paris ständig mit eigenem Auto zu fahren, muss man diesen Punkt bei seiner Reiseplanung im Voraus berücksichtigen. Summa summarum: Wenn man kein Problem damit hat, für Fahrten nach Paris ggf 60 Minuten einzuplanen, ist dies im Großen und Ganzen ein gutes und empfehlenswertes Hotel.
