Fabulous!!! I visited with my mother and my two daughters for a long weekend. Perfect location, short walk to Eiffel Tower, amazing shops, cafes, restaurants nearby. Supermarket a few doors up for essentials and a pharmacy, also Carrefour over the road. Room perfect, we had a deluxe 2bed apartment, 100% cleaning standards, linen changed daily.. immaculate, could not fault cleanliness/hygiene at all. Only small negative thing to mention is that they leave some lovely L’occitane products in the rooms, nice that they replace them so much, keeping shampoos etc topped up but I used a lovely bar of verbena soap and it was replaced each day, bit of a waste, only used it for handwashing, I left it by sink each morning…came back later each day to find a new one in wrapper, so they were obviously being binned and replaced, a bar would of lasted months so just one for the whole 4 days would have been fine! Brilliant gym! Beautiful decor and art, free coffee machine in lobby, nice cappuccinos! Staff very friendly and helpful, excellent English! Close to Metro stations although we mostly walked and used Uber. Wasn’t bothered by any noise at all, was on 5th floor, busy street below but was so tired each night, didn’t hear anything at all! Room had iron/ironing board, hairdryer, a safe, coffee machine, all kitchen utensils, pans etc to cook a meal, microwave, dishwasher, oven/hob… Would highly recommend and stay again definitely, the hotel made our trip to Paris even more magical. 5 stars well deserved, Thankyou.

Good location, central to Arc du Triomphe and a few metro stations. Many restaurants and supermarkets close by. Experience didn't start too well, arriving an hour or so before the 14:00 check in I left my luggage as I had lunch reservations. Returning at around 14:15 I attempted to check in but was informed that the room still wasn't ready, after 10 minutes I was able to check-in. This is the point where I had my only negative staff experience of my 3 night stay, with the female member of staff on reception. Whilst attempting to pay the Paris Tourist Fee both of my debit cards were declined, even though I had used them at the airport, at the restaurant 20 minutes earlier and 15 minutes later in the supermarket. She remarked ”declined, empty, no money” and even when I said it was impossible that both cards were 'empty' she just laughed and shrugged her shoulders. Despite informing her of the 6000 euros available on these cards and then opening my wallet containing over 500 euros in cash to pay the 5 euro fee she scowled at me and said ”totally unacceptable but fine”. Remove this woman and my stay would be improved. After checking in I realised that the iron & board that I had requested be placed in the room weren't there, so I off I went to reception. After explaining to my new friend in both English and French what I needed she rolled her eyes, made a phone call and asked me to wait a few minutes. Shortly a member of housekeeping appeared and opened an unlocked door next the reception desk and handed me what I wanted! Very few negatives, the room wasn't that big, indeed, erecting the ironing board did present some issues! There was some noise from the room above and the streetlight directly outside the window managed to sneak around the edges of the curtains. Whilst the bathroom contained a shower over the bath, there was no plug, so a relaxing bath wasn't possible. Many tv channels listed but almost half (including all english channels) unavailable. Breakfast was true continental, no bacon & eggs here, this suited me fine. The four quality cheeses, cold cuts, fresh breads & pastries with juices and fresh coffee were great, as were the staff in the breakfast room. The night staff on the desk were also extremely friendly, as were the housekeeping who kept the room nice and clean. Overall though, for the money I paid I was happy and would stay again.

I am not one to write reviews but this experience truly called for it. I was impressed by the pictures on the website and some positive reviews and chose to ignore the bad ones. Big mistake. We booked 2 rooms for our family.l The biggest issue we had was the air conditioning did not work in the kids room. It was extremely hot during our stay and the children were unable to sleep. We called, emailed, spoke in person to so many people at the hotel and they kept saying they would fix it but nothing was ever done. At one point, someone banged on the door at 11:30 pm when we were all asleep (waking everyone) and dropped off a fan that did absolutely nothing to cool the room. Also the room was not satisfactory on many levels. When we checked in, the room had these issues: - someone else's food (leftover chicken in a takeout container, amongst other things) were left in the fridge - the garbage without a lid was very dirty. It almost looked like someone vomited in the garbage and then they just left all this gunk on all the inner sides of the garbage. It was disgusting to look at. - bathroom garbage foot step was not working, which required me to touch it and manually open it everytime. Not great since I already felt like everything in the room was dirty. - safe not working. It was left with the bolt open so I was unable to close it or set a new code. We talked and emailed with many staff about all of these issues and gave them ample opportunity to help, which they didn't. Upon checkout and complaining, we were told in person as well as via email from the manager Cathy that we would be getting a refund. She went as far as to ask for my CC info again and then sent another email saying she found my CC info and was processing the refund. Of course it never came through. I followed up 4-5 times and now no one from Doisy responds. Also, while we were checking in, a very upset hotel guest was arguing with the conciege. They had booked 3 nights and without prior knowledge, were being forced to move to a smaller room on their last night. This hotel clearly has a lot of issues, terrible management, is falling apart, hygiene concerns, etc. STEER CLEAR!!

The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. There was always someone available at reception to assist us and nothing was too much trouble. We arrived early afternoon and were checked in right away and were able to leave our bags on the last day until we headed to the airport. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and in a good location for access to trains, the metro and buses. I would definitely recommend staying at Villa Alessandra!

Wonderful Hotel. This hotel is lovely. We stayed as a family in early December and found nothing to complain about. The family sized room is a good size for Paris and perfect size for the four of us. The room was clean and well appointed. We had a cute little courtyard- which would have been lovely in Summer. The hotel location is perfect- with a cute little market nearby and a handful of mini supermarkets and fresh food shops close. Walking distance to most major sites in Paris. The breakfast was hot, fresh food and delicious. We loved this hotel the most from our Europe Trip.

Lovely hotel just minutes away from the Arc de Triomph. The reception staff were very friendly and always smiling. The room was lovely, beds were comfortable and it was cleaned daily. The room had a hairdryer and TV. It was a little chilly in the room but otherwise a really lovely place to stay. Highly recommend.

Located on a quiet street of the 17th quarter of Paris, very near a busy shopping avenue only 8 minutes walk from the place de l'Etoile, this ”green” hotel has everything I personally look for. Comfortable rooms offering multiple amenities, clean bathrooms, attentive staff, a cozy library-sitting room and, most of all, a large, dreamy quiet garden. Love it.
