PPengguna Tetamu房間很大設施很齊全也很新 酒店提供的牛肉麪和水餃也很好吃 酒店離雪場很近 每天接送去雪場隨叫隨到消息回覆特別及時 最主要我最喜歡的一點就是酒店的服務 管家24小時在線 而且服務態度特別積極 每個人都特別熱情特別友好服務特別細緻 每天都不用回房間衹需要回酒店前台就像回家了一樣有歸屬感 李哥每天接送我們都特別積極而且從早到晚像打雞血了一樣感覺他不會累 在前台的時候態度也很好很温柔很細緻第一天入住熱情的讓我都有點受寵若驚 前台兩位美麗的小姐姐也非常非常好 説話很温柔 服務和態度都特別好啥事會幹 餓了還會給我們煮麪條和水餃吃 這次北大湖體驗感真的超出預期比每年都有趣 因為感覺這次的酒店不衹是休息的地方 也是我們歡樂的一部分 每個人都很熱情友善 走的時候真是有點不捨 已經和他們成為朋友了 明年一定還來 真的給了我一次特別的住宿體驗

The hotel has everything you need (great breakfast, convenience store, onsen facility and internal walkway to ski hall). 瑶瑶 was our main contact and attendant during our stay and she was truly the best. She was super responsive, gave us great restaurant recommendations and was just a huge help as we don’t speak Chinese. She also helped book transfers from the hotel, which we really appreciated. Can’t wait to come back!

PPengguna TetamuI am from Singapore. I added the inn’s phone number on Trip.com into my WeChat. Via text messages in WeChat (I can read and write in Chinese), I asked the inn owner how to get to her inn prior to arriving. Her replies were prompt. So, for non-locals, as long as you can access WeChat using your foreign phone number and can produce text in Chinese, communication would be fine.
Apparently there is a local bus that goes to the inn from Jilin train station but on the day of my arrival, the bus wasn’t in service. The inn owner arranged a car to pick me up instead.
There is a variety of food that can be ordered at the inn. I slept very well on the simple floor bed. Most importantly, the inn provide excellent service in ferrying the guests to and from the rime spots starting from early in the morning sunrise. The rime I saw on my visit was pretty.
There were many guests during my stay. I highly recommend this inn if you come to Wusong island for the rime!

Sadly, the air conditioning was out of order across the entire building, and we were not informed about this in advance. Even with the AC turned on, the room temperature stayed at 30 degrees. A solution was offered eventually, yet we were far from satisfied with it. We hope the hotel can come up with a better solution in the future.

SStevey_FlI read extensive reviews before I booked this hotel a few months ago, and my experience staying 3 nights here did support those excellent reviews.
The services were superior and the staff very friendly and helpful. Free breakfast was good and packed with sufficient proteins and nutrients to prepare for a full half day skiing. You can rent ski equipments ( even clothing) right at the basement conveniently after you are done eating. Ski passes and ski classes can be purchased right there, with the channel discount prices, so you avoid the hassle of doing these things at the Ski Service Center.
There is a Tesla Model Y always ready to take you from hotel basement to the ski slopes (the ski-in and ski-out access was closed during my stay there but in most cases you could do it) and take you back to hotel whenever you call them a few minutes ahead of time). The hotel itself is located within walking distance to the ski lifts, so even without the transportation assistance, it is manageable by putting on ski boots and just walk back and forth with your skis.
The room I booked has a bedroom with 2 twin beds and a living room with TV and dining table and a kitchen sink and stove ( but no utensils yet so don’t expect to cook meals there). Bottle waters and snacks were replenished daily for free.
Besides its own dinning facilities and a small grocery store on the basement, there are plenty of options to eat and shop on the Main Street just down the road from the hotel. Overall, the New Story is a happy story and I look forward to returning in a year or two.
(My advice for those who can afford flexible schedules, try to come here in slow season like now outside the Xmas and Chinese New Year windows, the snow is still quite good yet the crowds are not existent and you can get really good deals in staying, though the lift ticket is still not cheap, 430 RMB a or some $60-65 a day. Much more in busy season).

HHany MI've chose the right place to stay! Everything was beyond my expectation, the room are clean, the blanket are cozy & warm. Need to bought your own towel. Eventho there's language barrier it still easy to communicate as we do communicate thru translator, some guest that can speak english do help me with translation too & everyone in Xie's family are so kind, warm & very helpful making sure my trip to wusong rime island pleasant & smooth as i only have 1 day in Jilin. They also help arrange pickup & dropoff transportation for me from Jilin railway station to the inn vice versa. At night their younger brother send & pick us to wusong island scenic spot for free, the entrance ticket is 30yuan. The next morning the boss brought all of the guest to watch sunrise & the smog rime for free at his secret place. He took a very good photo of each of us & send it to us, love all the photo the boss took, its look very professional. I booked room without breakfast but the boss gave me breakfast for free, so kind of him. You also can try & take picture with traditional chinese northeast clothes, they have variety style. It was a very nice experience & i glad i stayed at this inn.

住處樓下就有餐廳，早餐和正餐選擇豐富。有特別喜歡的二米粥、牛肉拌飯和紫菜包飯。
去雪場也很方便，步行去雪具大廳7/8分鐘，回來小爬坡十來分鐘，也可以坐擺渡車3/每人或打車起步價回來。
雪票直接和房東預訂即可非常便利。
