Spending a night at Changdi Inn, nestled in the heart of the historic Hongkeng Tulou Cluster, was truly one of the most unforgettable experiences of my Xiamen trip. The inn is located within a centuries old Hakka earthen building, and the moment you step inside, you will be instantly transported back in time. The stay offers an immersive look into traditional Hakka culture and architecture, surrounded by thick earthen walls, wooden beams, and antique details that speak volumes of the past. What mak it extra special was meeting the friendly innkeeper, a 6th generation descendant of the family that built and preserved this Tulou. He shared stories and local insights making the whole experience even more meaningful. The room was simple yet clean and comfortable, blending rustic charm with basic modern comforts. I got to enjoy authentic Hakka meals, lovingly prepared and bursting with homestyle flavor, perfect after a day of exploring. Waking up in the peaceful village setting, watching the locals go about their daily lives, and hearing the birds chirping outside, it's a rare, soulful escape from the city.

One of the best hotel we ever stay around Fujian Province, exceptional Instagrammable staycation with spotless bedsheet and really clean in every area…breakfast really make our day. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone. Big thumbs up #Room with big tub was a great bonus

It was a great stay with 3 nights. Very charming hotel with nice Hakka elements. In a lovely village with Tulou’s to visit. We also walked up a mountain to view the Village. The hotel helped with arranging a car to bring us to other villages such as Chuxi.

Stayed for a night at the hotel and took the free guided tour to the 王子 Tulou. Had breakfast and dinner at the hotel. Food is slightly above average. Location is right next to a Tulou. but it is not the Tulou with the tour. Attended the dinner shoe next door using the discount coupon. It is probably one of the lamest show I have seen in China. Very loud and piercing compère. Don’t waste your money on the show. The free guided tour is only for 王子土楼. The free guided tour is good. You may need your own transport there. You still need to pay for your tickets into the 土楼。 the guide’s relatives live there. Basically she will bring you to her house or cousin’s house for tea. And the tea is expensive. You get the drift.

More than a Stay - A Warm Family Welcome in the Heart of the Tulou! From the moment we arrived, we were treated not as tourists, but as guests of the family. The hosts – the Father, Mother, and their Son – are the soul of this place. They are incredibly friendly and go so far above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and special. The Son was our main point of contact and coordinated everything for us with great patience. He arranged our visit to the magnificent 振成楼 (Zhencheng Lou, the ”Prince of Tulou”), with Mother sharing fascinating stories about its history that you won't find in guidebooks. But where this family truly shines is in their genuine care. As overseas visitors, we were completely unfamiliar with local transportation and booking systems for our next destination. The Son sat down with us, helped us navigate the Chinese online systems, booked our train tickets, and gave us detailed instructions for the rest of our journey. He spent a significant amount of his own time to ensure we were set up for success, which was a gesture we will never forget. The homestay itself is a wonderful experience. The room was clean and comfortable. Decent simple home-cooked breakfast with the family was priceless. In summary: · Hospitality: Unmatched. 房間寬敞，價格合適，最主要的是視野非常開闊，能看到龍巖的廣場和公園，最重要的是配備了乳膠枕，非常舒適，公共區域還有閲讀區。

The place is beautiful and unique. The Owners were super thoughtful. Even though the place is a literal museum piece so accommodations are different from a normal hotel, the rooms themselves could be a bit better cleaned. Below the beds and behind thinks it was quite dirty with things left from previous clients I would guess. Either way the stay was amazing.

A strategically located hotel which is within walking distance of distance to many interesting places. Food is easily accessible and yummy. Night scenery is great with multi coloured lighting. Nice to walk around and enjoyed watching people dancing in the open spaces. Local herbs are also available if u are interested in local Chinese herbs for brewing tea and herbal soups. During the day it is nice to walk around early in the nearby walking streets where u can find interesting architecture of the olden days. Well kept but can do with more explanation about the history and info about the local culture and customs. Great place for taking instagram photos.

It was a great experience staying at Xihu Hotel in Longyan! I upgraded my stay to a very nice spacious quiet room with wc, shower and washing machine, it was recently renovated and super comfortable, perfect for having a good rest after visiting the Fujian Tulou and the historic city of Tingzhou. The hotel is located very close to the train station and has plenty of options for places to eat nearby. Qui Suchen is a great host, she really wants you to feel like home in Longyan! Thank You sister Qui Suchen for making my stay in Longyan memorable!
