I wish I had taken more photos of the hotel and the. room we stayed in. the hotel has a homey and welcoming feel. the beds are very Comfortable and the water pressure is good. the decorations are designed to make you feel the seaside feeling of the island. this hotel was so clean, the daily upkeep was meticulous even with my sandy children coming in from the beach, each time we returned to the room it was spotless. the owner of the hotel went above and beyond to help us understand the bus and ferry booking, he gave the best tips on where to go and what to see. there the island itself was busy but we found the beaches empty and the children had a Wonderful time playing in the waves. I will return and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to relax.

住的是一個270度視角豪華大海視角房～超驚喜的！！大的感覺可以在房間裏跑步了…從酒店裝修可以看得出來，老闆相當用心了！屬於會無數次選購的民宿！ 衞生：不用説 ！一客一換 ！無論是廚房衞生間還是房間都很整潔 設施：很新！應該是近兩年剛裝修不久的！ 服務：最讚的就是服務了，碼頭接送老闆也會親自來接送，並且在路上會給我們介紹這個小島。非常友善的告知哪裡好玩～又於是帶父母過來休閑遊，所以除了酒店包含那一頓早飯之外，我們中午晚上也在這邊用餐了，因為看着環境比較衞生，比外面上的要乾淨的多，關鍵不用多走路，提前點好才下樓就能吃飯了。很好吃！！這一點是我沒有想到的！早飯準備的也相當精緻，老闆説了管飽哈哈哈哈！

An excellent stay on Shengshan Island. Before we even arrived, the owner already contacted us on WeChat with information about our stay and gave us very comprehensive tips for our stay. The hotel is very conveniently located, next to the boat port, the main entry onto Shengshan, and it is just across it. The owner was waiting for us when we arrived off the boat and helped us get our luggage. They have a very convenient luggage lift which means that you don't have to lug anything up the stairs. The hotel feels clean, luxurious, comfy and homely at the same time. It is a family run hotel and the reception is very warm. Our room was very clean and everything that was needed was provided. The view was spectacular from our room (image provided). The bed was very comfy and the lounger was perfect for watching the sea within the comfort of your room. The pool downstairs is great to cool off after a day out exploring. The breakfast provided was very nice and simple, some youtiao (Chinese fried dough, similar to churros), soy milk and sweet and savoury buns. All in all an excellent experience, and we thank the hosts for everything.

Everything was excellent! The hotel is very stylish, well maintained, clean. All is managed with love and care, every detail. Their sunsets are famous, but in 10 minutes of walk you'll also find a place to watch sunrise. The food is very tasty, too. However, what I would like to note paticularly, is the way they treat guests. All my questions were answered immediately, and they helped me a lot with booking the ferry tickets! The boss and all others are super helpful, nice and friendly! I stayed there only one night, but they treated me as if I were their favourite guest! Pick-up and transfer in the most convenient way, continuous contact via WeChat, preparing the dinner special for me and serving it outside - everything was done to make me feeling relaxed and happy. 寶寶人生第一次看海，圓滿打卡~~ 這次沒跟去，全靠長者帶娃，出發前心裏一直不踏實。幸好老闆兩口子雖然年輕，卻特別細心靠譜～長者剛到，老闆就主動發消息報平安，平時問什麼都有問必答。 房間是白色調，乾淨清爽，看着心情就很好。門口那片大草坪正對着海，視野絕了。聽家人回來説，寶寶第一次踩沙踏浪，玩得根本叫不動！雖然沒抓到小螃蟹有點小遺憾，但日出日落都看全了，美得他不捨得回家😂。還有老闆家那衹柯基，回來一直念念不忘。 隔着屏幕都能感受到那份快樂，第一次遠程帶娃這麼安心，下次全家出動還選這兒！❤️

Kami baru sahaja kembali ke Shanghai selepas menginap di Say No Inn, dan semuanya hebat. Kakitangan sangat prihatin, membantu dan mesra. Mereka cuba memenuhi semua permintaan kami. Mereka juga menawarkan pilihan tempat makan yang hebat di kawasan kejiranan. Dari segi lokasi, sekali lagi, hebat. Kami mempunyai pemandangan pantai/lautan yang sempurna dari hotel dan boleh berjalan kaki ke pantai tempatan dalam masa 2 minit. Kolam renang terutamanya untuk kanak-kanak atau orang dewasa yang hanya ingin duduk di dalam air. Ia bukan kolam yang besar tetapi mempunyai pemandangan yang indah dan anak saya suka bermain di dalam air. Secara keseluruhan, saya sangat mengesyorkan orang lain untuk menginap di hotel ini. Terima kasih Say No Inn! Jumpa lagi pada masa hadapan.

非常好！從酒店位置到軟硬件都很棒！酒店自己就是左岸公路最佳觀景點之一，距離左岸公路最佳日出日落環境台左岸咖啡400米，酒店2024年運行，設施很新維護的很好，床品舒適，洗浴三件套都是歐舒丹的；每棟樓都有泳池；有私家沙灘:餐廳好吃衞生實惠。還有最好的是服務，家庭出行放心定就好了。價格可能是略高周邊民宿一點，但絕對值！適合:發呆、遛娃、治癒、放空、吹牛。藍天、白雲童話世界的入口！

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel on Gouqi Island. The room offered a beautiful sea view, which made our stay especially relaxing and memorable. The location is also very convenient—just a short walk to a lively food street with plenty of dining options to choose from. What truly made this experience exceptional, though, was the owner’s kindness and hospitality. When we unfortunately fell ill during our stay, he went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. His support during that time meant a lot to us. He also kindly helped arrange transportation, which made everything much easier. To top it off, we were welcomed with a thoughtful gift at check-in, which was a lovely touch. I really can’t rate this hotel highly enough—both for the facilities and, most importantly, for the genuine care and generosity shown to us.

Great stay! The owner was very friendly and helpful. He explained how to get from Shanghai to the island, sent the ferry times, and met us at the pier. He arranged dinner and a trip to the famous abandoned Houtouwan Village. Always quick to respond. Trustworthy place, highly recommended.

For the cost (especially considering I bought a budget room) this is a good call, especially if your aim is to spend time exploring. It looked a bit down at heel from the outside (Goji berry island is mostly an unpretentious fishing community, not a glamorous destination, but that's part of the charm), but I was pleasantly surprised to find my room quite clean, decently spacious, everything functioning well, and a comfortable bed. Even the partial bay view was nice! Though I don't speak Chinese, the front desk staff were helpful in advising me on things like purchasing return ferry tickets, taxi prices, and restaurant recommendations. (You can try Xianmiao for seafood!) The location is also good, just at the bottom of the hill over to the Houtouwan fishing village, and quite near the island's main restaurant and market street. Breakfast was typical fare, but freshly made.
