The lift stopped working the first night upon staying there therefore all guests had to use the staircase. My room was unfortunately next to the staircase and the noise went on till late in the evening. On the second day while sitting in my room had a random stranger use their keycard to open my room and walk in. Having informed the front desk, who kept asking if I was sure and if it was not the cleaner, the manager assured me they would investigate the matter. 10 mins later the manager knocks on my room door to inform me that I did not shut my room door properly and that is why another guest was able to enter my room. There is no additional locks in the room as such shutting the door is the only way to ‘lock’ the room. I was offered a free breakfast or complementary spa session to make up for the inconvenience. Having just experienced this security breach, neither offer seemed appealing especially after repeatedly being questioned if I was sure the proceeding to blame me for not shutting the door properly. I left the hotel and checked into another hotel. They have refused to refund me the additional nights stay that I did not stay and Trip.com has given a standard response to this incident including offering a few worthless coins. After pushing them to further investigate all they could muster was the hotel is unwilling to refund fully or partially the amount due to me and offered me £80 worth of coins which is far below what I paid for my stay. Rest assured I would never again stay in this hotel, and would suggest all Trip.com users to stop booking this hotel if you prioritise your safety. After all the hotel is not that affordable to risk the safety and security during your stay. Think twice and book at your own risk because if anything occurs during your stay the hotel would blame on you. Also if i was being picky, the safe deposit box did not work and the bed was sinking in the middle.

Bardzo udany pobyt! Hotel położony jest w świetnej lokalizacji na Montmartre, w spokojnej i klimatycznej okolicy. Dużym atutem jest bliskość katedry oraz licznych kawiarni, restauracji i atrakcji turystycznych. Plac Pigalle znajduje się praktycznie na wyciągnięcie ręki, dzięki czemu można wygodnie korzystać z uroków Paryża bez konieczności dalekich dojazdów. Pokoje były czyste i komfortowe, a obsługa miła i pomocna. Okolica jest bezpieczna i sprzyja spacerom, zarówno w ciągu dnia, jak i wieczorem. To idealne miejsce dla osób, które chcą połączyć zwiedzanie najciekawszych zakątków Paryża z odpoczynkiem w spokojnym otoczeniu. Zdecydowanie polecam ten hotel i chętnie wrócę podczas kolejnej wizyty w Paryżu.

The hotel location was fantastic, we didn’t have a view of the Eiffel Tower but did overlook the statue of liberty. Our party was mum & 2 adult daughters. The staff at reception were really friendly. Our trip was to celebrate a 21st birthday and a pre wedding trip for my daughters and the hotel had decorated the room as a surprise which was lovely. The double bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in at any hotel, but the sofa bed could definitely use some upgrading. We didn’t eat at the hotel but there were restaurant options available, and a nice self service room which sold essentials (bottled water, toothbrushes, sandwiches, even microwave meals and the microwave to heat them up in). Everywhere was immaculately clean. It was a 15-20 minute wander to the Eiffel Tower and at no point did we feel unsafe, even when walking back at 11.30pm. We all loved it and I definitely hope to go back again. We would recommend to anyone with realistic expectations.

位置好，治安佳，還有冰箱，這點真是太推薦了！！ 法國很多飯店是沒有冰箱的！這要注意！早餐蠻好吃，以後還有好吃的小點心跟免費咖啡機，非常棒，附近有好幾家超市給好吃的麵包店，就不用去外面花錢坐咖啡館了，離凱旋門、香榭麗舍劇院、瘋馬秀名牌店都非常近，很多餐廳、服飾店，這是我在巴黎住的最喜歡的一家酒店！！強推！

My stay at Novotel Paris Vaugirard Montparnasse was a truly enjoyable experience and a great choice for visiting Paris. The hotel strikes a perfect balance between comfort, style, and convenience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, professional, and always ready to help with any questions or requests. Check-in was smooth and efficient, which set a positive tone for the rest of my stay. The room itself was modern, clean, and well-designed, with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was especially comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep after long days exploring the city. I also appreciated the thoughtful amenities and the overall quiet atmosphere. One of the highlights of the hotel is its rooftop terrace, which offers stunning panoramic views of Paris—including a view of the Eiffel Tower. It’s the perfect spot to relax in the evening with a drink and take in the city’s beauty. The location is another strong point. Situated in a pleasant and less crowded area, it still offers easy access to public transport, making it simple to reach major attractions around Paris. Overall, I would highly recommend Novotel Paris Vaugirard Montparnasse to anyone looking for a comfortable, stylish, and well-located place to stay in Paris. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit.

A simple and nice hotel. There are several public transport sport within walking distance, a lot of cafes and several supermarkets. The room is relatively big and has everything that you may need. The staff is also very friendly and helpful in case there are any questions.

The view is genuinely worth it! Our room overlooked the Paris skyline with a clear view of the Eiffel Tower, making every morning and evening feel special. The hotel is also very conveniently located, with Bus 30 stopping in front of the hotel entrance and providing a direct route to the Eiffel Tower. There are several grocery stores within walking distance, including Monoprix and K-Mart (asian grocery), as well as a number of shops and department stores. If you are into local farmers' market Marché Grenelle on Sundays is 10min walk from the aparthotel. The metro and RER stations are also close by, making it easy to explore Paris. If you enjoy walking, the pleasant stroll along the Seine River to the Eiffel Tower is highly recommended. The room was spacious and comfortable for the three of us. The kitchenette was functional and well-equipped for regular cooking. Do note that the hotel does not provide basic cooking essentials such as oil, salt, or pepper, so you may need to purchase these yourself. The cookware, cutlery, and kitchen utensils were all clean and adequate for our needs. Although housekeeping is not provided for stays shorter than one week, we managed well. There is a rubbish disposal room on every floor, making daily waste disposal convenient. They also provided the broom & vacum cleaner. The hotel also supplied sufficient dishwasher liquid, toilet paper, and other essentials for the week. The only item we needed to replenish ourselves was the coffee capsules. Expect the room to come with some wear and tear. The main downside was the lift situation. During our stay, only two of the four lifts were operational, serving two towers with more than 20 floors each. As a result, waiting times could be quite long, especially during peak hours and check-in/check-out periods. We experienced a wait of approximately 20 minutes for the lift on arrival, which was frustrating after a long journey. Overall, despite the lift inconvenience, the excellent location, stunning Eiffel Tower views, spacious rooms, and practical apartment-style facilities made this a very enjoyable stay, and I would consider staying here again.

The hotel is super close to the train station—just a 1-minute walk, which is very convenient. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, allowing me to have a good night’s sleep. Despite being near the station, the place is quiet and peaceful. There is also a lift available, which makes it easy to handle luggage.

The facility is basic for backpackers who just need somewhere to sleep. It's convenient if you travel to places by public transport because the place is quite far from the main attractions. It's a good thing they have free breakfast too!

Very horrible hotel for black female travellers. I stayed at the Originals with my friend for 3 nights, then another 2 nights. We pre-booked and paid for the 3 nights in FULL before arrival. Upon arrival, we were charged a deposit of €150 Euros which was explained to be a security deposit to be returned after checkout.I had no issues with that and focused on exploring Paris. There was a day my room wasn’t cleaned and I complained to a mixed lady at the hotel reception politely to inform the cleaner and she condescendingly looked at me and blurted “I’m not the cleaner”. I never asked her to be one, I only informed her so she can tell the cleaners to make a stop at my room and refill the shower gel, replace soap and toilet paper. The day I checked out, I missed my flight due to the Paris traffic and had to reschedule my flight to the next available date which was in 48 hours which meant I needs to stay in Paris for another 2 nights. I headed back to the hotel. I don’t know why but our cards refused to work despite being funded. We had some Euros cash left in cash and paid for one extra night. The next day, we asked to extend but our cards wouldn’t work. We informed them that we needed to get some sleep but would try an ATM or go to a BDC to change some Dollars. In between, the cleaner came to the room and yanked off our key card cutting off the light supply, we were barraged with calls from the reception threatening that security was going to escort us out of the room. It’s wild because most of their staff is black and yet they treated us like ****. We saw how white guests were treated and black guests and the difference was clear. Maybe they had an assumption and became discriminatory towards us. Note that 4 nights out of 5 was already paid in FULL and they had a security deposit of over 200 Euros with them. We had to abandon everything and rush to an ATM to withdraw more cash💰 to pay for the final day. Let’s not get into the fact that one of their staff ******* almost tried to be ****** with me. I got into the elevator to go and get water at the restaurant on the 8th floor, he kept looking at my boobs and made suggestive comments about wanting to spend the night with me. He also insisted on a hug. I cried from the experience of that hotel and very horrified. As a travel content creator, I will document my experience with videos when I’m back home and share YouTube videos. If you’re a Nigerian or black woman, please avoid THE ORIGINALS. I was excited to be here but it turned into a nightmare. As a business owner myself and CEO of 3 thriving companies, I saw some many lapses in their customer service. The entire place needs a staff overhaul.
