Need a car to reach the place, but it's easy to find via GPS. The hosts have been very friendly and guided us well. The kids had fun walking the goats, feeding the chickens, and helping with the cooking.
It's a good place to destress and feel nature once again.

Nice hotel with old world charm and service. Though the room is a bit dated, the furniture is classic, beautiful and very clean. The outdoor onsen is calming and well designed. Too bad that the restaurant was fully booked and we didn’t have the opportunity to try their highly rated dinner.

Drove there. Our room is located first floor with private onsen bath in the room. No shoes are allowed when you first step into the Ryokan. Slippers are provided.
Staff are friendly and nice, the room is clean and spacious. Food was typical Japanese breakfast. The private in-house onsen bath was awesome but sadly on the second day, the onsen bath tub started to leak hot spring water from all sides of the bath tub and from the wall and there is no way to stop the water gushing out!
As a kind gesture, the manager gave us some private time on the private onsen (require booking)

Enchanted By ScrapsLocation is really good. Walkable to several places like the public bath, free foot bath, Lawsons etc. Room is big for 3 pax. The size is good. The room is pretty dated though and some parts are not cleaned and old and the worst thing is there's a smell in the room even though we stayed there 3 nights. We had to air the room each time we came back and luckily I had a room mist which I had to use quite often. The Onsen is good. Love the facilities and products given for guests to use.

FairyflossThe room size was decent, plenty of entertainment on Level 1 *some are not free* and a foot bath right in front of the hotel. Put some mosquito repellent, we didn't even get to sit more than 5 mins because of mosquitoes. Loved their dinner buffet. Thanks to the free alcoholic drinks we got to sample a few different types of sake. The food was good and for the breakfast French toast was the best. The dinner buffet timing was only 1.5 hours but it was more than enough for us. The room pricing isn’t cheap but it’s definitely worth the value if you just want to spend a quiet and relaxing evening inside the hotel after visiting some of the attractions around the area.
