Hotel Sokcho dengan Tempat Letak Kereta

The check in was easy and all done online and contactless. I didn’t even need to speak to any staff on the ground floor and they did not ask or look at all so it was easy as it’s in the same building as Mira Vista hotel. The location is Perfect and close to the shops in front, many choices nearby. Close to the bus station which is perfect for commute into and out of. Close to the beach and bus stops also. The accomodation was so so clean, looks so brand new. Mirrors, furnishings all spotless, the shampoo, body wash, hand wash all smell nice which is great and tbe I think for Korea. Plenty of towels, bath mat. Great view and balcony, however I wouldn’t say it Ocean view, more like bay view. Bed was soft and comfy. Smart toilet and bidet, they had table and chairs on the balcony, massive smart LG TV to watch YouTube etc, double glsss balcony doors so it was super quiet. Ac worked while you’re out so you can come back in an ac cooled room. Everything you need is inside, filtered water dispenser, coffee machine and pods, microwave downstairs. Even the elevators weren’t busy and easy to go up and down anytime. However it didn’t have a laundry but still fine. I didn’t get room cleaned but it’s still fine for me also. The only thing is with the power sockets, it’s all in a deep circular socket. Which you need to keep in mind may not fit. I wish they provided maybe an external multi adapter which would’ve helped a lot with charging. I had to buy an adapter just for the room charging. Overall my impression is that the room was so clean and well thought off. I would easily come back again if the price is reasonable.

The front desk staff were friendly and the service was excellent. The hotel provides detailed guides in English, so even if you don’t speak Korean, you can feel confident exploring the area on your own. The mountain-view room was absolutely beautiful. In the morning, I could watch the sunrise right from the room and wake up surrounded by a sea of clouds. It was such a peaceful and unforgettable experience! The room was compact but very clean and well-equipped. I especially liked the automatic toilet and the pleasant lavender-scented body wash and shampoo. The location is extremely convenient, right across from a bus stop. There is also a microwave on the first floor and free washing machines on the second floor. Overall, the hotel has everything you need for a comfortable stay, and the price is very reasonable. Definitely a great value for money!

1. Poor Room Layout and Lack of Consideration for Female Guests There is no dressing table/vanity. Without one, there should at least be a mirror positioned where I can sit down to apply makeup, but the only mirror is located by the entrance (where you put on shoes). I tried using the bathroom instead, but the lighting is so poorly placed that it reflects off the mirror, making it impossible to see my face clearly. Furthermore, the hairdryer cord is so short that I can’t even look in the mirror while drying my hair. The lack of consideration for female guests is appalling. 2. Unreasonable Trash Disposal Policy Guests are required to sort and dispose of their own recycling. I don’t understand why a guest staying at a hotel is expected to do the housekeeping. To make matters worse, the trash disposal area has no roof, so if it’s raining, you have to either hold an umbrella or just get soaked while throwing away the trash. 3. Unmanaged AV Room There is an AV/Game room, but no staff members are stationed there to manage it. This means if one team decides to monopolize the equipment and play for hours, there is no way to intervene. There is clearly no oversight or system in place to ensure all guests get a fair turn.

We arrived early at the hotel and we were hoping to be able to leave our luggage in a luggage room . When we got there , there was no staff on the Reception desk as the hotel operates a non face to face check in . This is fine but we do not speak or read Korean and we were unsure what we had to do . Eventually after two hours we managed to check in using Kakeo talk . Very frustrating to have wasted that time . It was also confusing because our room was not actually in the hotel but next door in the hotel across the road . The room it self was brilliant . Very clean and spacious Lovely bathroom with enclosed shower . Tv , fridge and washing machine . The hotel was across the road from the beach so that was brilliant . It seemed a long way from the main part of the beach and any restaurants where we could eat ..

Service was top notch. Staff went the extra mile to help me order food through her delivery app and delivered a dryer rack when requested. Location was pretty good with a bus stop just 3 minutes away. It takes about 20 minutes to go to Seoraksan. The cons is that there's not much food selection within walking distance although there is a 7-11 just downstairs and a CU opposite. Overall the room was quite clean apart from some stains on the sofa. They do clean the room everyday but dont change the bedsheets. As for amenities, bedroom slippers are provided. Laundry detergent is 1000won which has to be purchased at the front desk. Loved the room view on a clear day with Seoraksan right in front of me. People complained about the lifts but I honestly didnt wait long throughout my 3 days stay. My longest wait for the lift was probably 3 minutes. Would come back again.

We stayed 2 nights, and the owners were really kind and friendly and invited us to sing and play Korean songs along with them and other families in the stage they have in the basement. It was one of the most memorable experiences of my whole trip in South Korea. The room and water were warm and well suited for the winter. They upgraded our room for free and there was so much space with sink, fridge, sofa and table included. The breakfast every morning is delicious and filling, preparing you well for a day of walking in the mountains. 설악산 was beautiful coated in the white snow. The location of the hotel is great too, as there is a frequent bus that takes you to the park in no time, as well as to the city when you first come or when you leave the last day. I hope I can come back again to visit the park during different seasons, and I will definitely would like to stay in this hotel again. Thank you for everything. Gracias, 감사합니다 😄

청결하게 잘 관리되고 있고, 사장님이 따뜻하고 친절합니다. 저렴한 숙박요금 때문에 약간은 걱정을 하고 갔지만, 청결한 방 관리와 서비스, 그리고 다음날 아침 조식 공간(계란 후라이, 토스트, 음료, 라면 등을 편히 가져다 먹을 수 있게 넉넉히 준비되어 있었음)까지 만족했습니다. 물론 저렴한 요금인만큼 당연히 호텔과 같은 시설과 서비스를 기대하시면 안 됩니다. 시설은 다소 낙후되었지만 여러면에서 기대를 훨씬 뛰어넘는 운영에 만족감을 느꼈고, 다음에 설악산에 갈 때 또 방문하고 싶습니다.

Pros: Prime Location: Only a 5-minute walk to the beach and Sokcho Eye. Very close to the Express Bus Terminal, with plenty of minimarts and restaurants nearby. Dining: A famous Red Crab Buffet is just a 10-minute walk away. Other city attractions are a quick 10–15 minute taxi ride. The View: The balcony offers a beautiful ocean view and a clear sight of the Sokcho Eye. Amenities: TV has Netflix (bring your own login). Bathroom essentials are provided, though toothbrushes/toothpaste cost a small extra fee. Cons: Balcony Maintenance: The mosquito screen was torn, and there were quite a few bird droppings on the balcony floor. Overall: Perfect for those prioritizing convenience and views!

Location is good but it is unfortunate that no short cut available to the beach. No diversity in the breakfast and that should be mentioned when selecting the booking options. Korean breakfast one determined menu per person so after 3 nights, my girls are bored from the food.

Сняли два номера, в обоих не работают розетки в спальной и там же не выключается свет через панель. Хочу отдельно отметить работу ресепшена — оформление заняло всего пару минут, всё организовано очень чётко и профессионально
