The room was great, as parts of the property seemed to have been recently refurbished. However, they charged €5 per person for the shuttle bus to the airport, even though it’s marketed as an airport hotel and costs over €150 per night. Overall, it felt a bit overpriced for the value.

The Executive Residency was fine for our purposes. We came by bicycle and a secure area was provided for our bikes. The room was small, but adequate for our needs. There were a few little glitches - the lockbox was locked - some plates were left in the microwave oven, but nothing that we couldn’t deal with. The service staff were fine - one young man was a little overmatched for the work, but the other staff were fine. Overall - this is an adequate, no frills place to stay in Hoofddorp

The hotel is a great choice for those looking for a clean, spacious, and safe environment away from the city bustle. It feels very ”family-friendly” and is surrounded by nature, making it a peaceful retreat. However, keep in mind its location if you plan on visiting the city center frequently. Location & Transport 🚌 Proximity: Conveniently located about 10 minutes from the airport. Shuttle: The hotel provides a scheduled shuttle bus to and from the airport with frequent departures. City Access: There is no direct transport to the city center. To get downtown, you must take the shuttle back to the airport and transfer to a train/bus, call a taxi, or take a local bus to a transit point. It can feel a bit isolated if you don't have a car. Parking 🚗 There is ample parking space available, but please note that it costs approximately €20 per day. Room Quality 🛌 The Good: The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained. Overall, the room quality is very satisfying. The Amenities: A bit minimal. They provide the basics (soap, shampoo, and lotion), but no shower caps or other extra vanity kits. You might want to bring your own. Service & Facilities 🍳 Staff: The front desk team is professional and helpful. Breakfast: A highlight! The breakfast spread is good, and the staff are very attentive—constantly clearing plates and keeping the tables clean. Even when the A/C seems to be not working correctly, the room was big enough and the bed comfortable (this is one of the few Hotels in Europe who really knows the definition of king queen size beds). Please add some other toiletries besides the hand soap, body lotion will be fantastic! This is my second time visiting the hotel and is ala nice experience before long flights.

The hotel is nice and also convenient for transportation to the airport. You can use a bus or train. The hotel offers a shuttle to the airport; you just need to make an appointment.

Stayed less than 24hrs for my 6am flight. Direct bus to the airport and really good for a layover (6 mins bus ride). No loud airplanes sounds! The bus stop just next to hotel (with lift!). Closest town is Hoofddorp, 6-9 mins ride! They hv a good mall and location. Instead of walk to mcd nearby hotel, i opted for this and had real proper meal. Hotel is cosy with coffee/teas in room. No fridge (i dont need this) the deco at the lobby and rooms are so nice. ”Instaworthy”. Friendly receptionist. Fast checkin and out.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything was very clean and well maintained, and the facilities were excellent. The room was comfortable and well equipped, making my stay very enjoyable. What stood out the most was the staff. Everyone was extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay, always making sure that guests felt comfortable and well taken care of. Overall, a great experience. I would highly recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again. Thank you to the entire team!

i enjoyed staying here - it was a bit complicated getting here by bus as there are works going on at the schiphol bus terminal - so you will need to logic your way to the right bus stop (google maps does not factor this in, so you will need to find temporary maps from schiphol along the bus stops). when you get to the hotel it is not obvious to view from the bus station either, so again you will need to figure out how to head to the moxy, but the hotel itself from the inside is very modern and fresh looking, everything is clean, the rooms feel very up to date and the bathrooms look bright and newly fitted which is always much preferred to old and worn. there is a lot of space to sit, read, and plan your trip on the ground floor with multiple sofas and desks. once you figure out the bus it is very easy to head back to schiphol airport or to town center from the hotel. the only thing is there is no tea or coffee station in-room, nor water, so everytime you want to boil water for tea or coffee, or even grab a drinking cup, you would have to go to the lobby and sometimes that isn’t practical as that’s also where other hotel guests are and the staff are stationed, and you just want some privacy. maybe they could put water bottles in room daily? or a water kettle? it’s a great hotel for if you are travelling into amsterdam for a short trip and have tight schedules to the airport, such as late night or early morning flights, and you are a younger solo traveller, who wants the privacy of their own room which is a step up from a nice hostel, and doesn’t mind figuring things out a bit as part of the journey

Last weekend, I took a trip to central Amsterdam, and it felt like stepping into a postcard. The air was crisp, carrying the scent of freshly baked stroopwafels and roasted coffee from the cafés lining the narrow streets. I wandered along the canals, their calm waters reflecting rows of gabled houses in shades of brick and pastel. Cyclists glided past effortlessly, bells chiming as they weaved between tourists and locals. At Dam Square, the hum of street performers mixed with the chatter of people from all over the world. Later, I visited the Anne Frank House, a sobering yet powerful reminder of history, before ending the day with a boat tour at sunset—the city glowing in golden light, bridges lit like necklaces over the shimmering water.
