DDinooPousada Palácio de Estoi is a beautiful hotel, elegant in every corner, very quiet, and with ample parking. I stayed for two nights, and while the first night was wonderful, the second evening at dinner was disappointing. The restaurant service felt rather cold, and there was a mix up where someone had made a 7 p.m reservation under our names without informing us. Things worsened when my fish soup contained a small piece of plastic, which I showed to the restaurant manager, unfortunately, that ended my meal. Not to mention the delay in food, 75 minutes sitting in the restaurant, I have only had the plastic containing soup.
Despite this, the hotel itself is charming and well located, with some aspects of service done right. With some attention to communication and restaurant service, it could easily be a five star experience. Not quite there yet in my humble opinion.

YyucacciaFirst of all, I'm really loving Faro!
The staff here are all very nice and helpful.
At the beginning of the night, the window was open, so it was a bit noisy and hard to sleep. But someone in the room turned on the AC, which made it better in the end.
The shower and bathroom were average, but the public area was cozy and comfortable.
I didn't join, but they also offer some special dinner options.
It was just a one-night stay, but overall, a good place to stay.

PPengguna TetamuThe location is strategic and the staff are super friendly. We came early and able to place our luggage there till check in timing. Location is near many eating outlets and the breakfast was great. Love the juice that was specially prepared- blend of melon, banana and apple.

Staff very helpful and ordered a taxi that arrived on time.
Room facilities and dinner up to a high standard. Very satisfied and will use this hotel again if needed.

EElijahhhhHad a great time here! So close to the airport and for as cheap as it was, it felt like a steal. The place itself felt like a small university accommodation with a hallway and rooms branching off of it. Nice kitchen and nice living room. Appreciated the little booklet that was left with all the relevant information, however the recommendations as to where to eat are slightly outdated with about half of the places listed being closed. Cleanliness was knocked down a mark due to me finding some stain on one of the outer bed sheets but that didn't bother me too much. Did the job and that's all you can ask for!
