We weren’t sure what to expect for our first ever stay in Pau. After a long day of driving we were delighted to have made a reservation at Hotel Parc Beaumont. Fantastic accommodation, wonderful restaurant for breakfast, afternoon beverages, or casual or more formal dining. Beautiful views of the park and Pyrenees mountains. Well decorated interior. Professional and friendly staff. Attention to details in every aspect of what every hotel should offer for its guests. Within walking distance of nice shops and cafes.

+ : Hôtel très joli, chambre très grande avec petite table en extérieur dans un cadre calme et reposant. Lit grand et confortable, très propre. Spa tout neuf excellent. Accessoires de beauté/hygiene fournis. - : A l'accueil, language familier de la réceptionniste ”attendez, j'appelle Lolo !”. De même, promesse de la réceptionniste de retirer le lit en trop dans notre chambre non tenue. Oubli des robes de chambre pour le spa, pas d'excuses de la part de la réception. Ne prévient pas que le hammam est en panne. Aucune indication à notre arrivée pour se déplacer dans ce grand hôtel ou même vider la voiture, toujours obligé de passer à la réception pour avoir des informations basiques.

Toutes les chambres n'ont pas été refaites, j'avais donc un ancien modèle (au moins avec le lavabo dans la Sdb... quelle idée absurde de le mettre dans la chambre !). Ceci dit les anciennes chambres sont datées et la sdb commence a être plus que limite pour le standard IBIS. La chambre est vraiment petite. Si on y passe pour le boulot tout seul ça va, pour un séjour en couple ce serait trop petit. Petit dej ok, dans le standard de la chaîne. Oubliez le parking, trop petit et payant. A 5min a pied se trouve le parking Bosquet, gratuit la nuit. Par contre... Pourquoi surchauffer les chambres à 22°C ?? Même coupée la clim se redeclenche tout seule en journée et transforme la chambre en sauna. Obliger de passer la recouper le soir et de dormir la fenêtre ouverte ! En décembre ! Bravo l'esprit écologique... Et puis à 22 on ne peut pas dormir !

Stayed 3 nights in Pau and fully enjoyed it. Even before the arrival, staff has been responding promptly to my requests and could immediately relate to them when they greeted me upon check-in. Room is very spacious, fridge is cold (unlike the usual mini-bar in most hotels) and has everything I wanted: safety deposit box, water kettle with tea, coffee and cream, bathroom amenities, a good hairdryer, and even a heated towel rack (this one really beats me!) Parking on site is very convenient, however the parking spaces have very narrow space in between cars so dents could be possible when people aren't careful opening their doors (I got one, unfortunately). Pau is a very nice town. Besides visiting the famous castle of Henri IV, strolling around town is very pleasant. For restaurants, I highly recommend L'interprète serving fine foods at very reasonable prices.

Arrived here n pouring rain and found reception closed as re building. Went to their sister newer hotel next door and found I had to book in there. No restaurant open so had to go to Burger King across the road for dinner but managed to book breakfast in the newest hotel. Room had no electricity so got soaked goi no to inform the person who booked us in she came over and confirmed that power was not working ( didn’t believe me). I Found the fuse box and breaker reset so we had power, however out heating was non existent so room cold and had to leave the water running for 8 minutes to get it warm enough to have a shower. It appears that we are the only ones in our block so cannot understand why we could not have a ground floor room, it didn’t help My angina climbing stairs in freezing rain. Overall a bad stay which is unusual as we have stayed here before this year in January and even with covid regs had a lovely stay. Heating been on three hours and still room is freezing.

Première étape dans un Kyriad Prestige, dont nous connaissions déjà le milieu de gamme - qui ne nous a pas déçus ... Accès très facile depuis l'A64, parking gratuit. Chambre spacieuse et bien équipée, propreté impeccable - excellent petit déjeuner avec une offre très complète et bien suivie par un personnel attentif ... Service en réception courtois et efficace. Le concept prestige est donc un très bon choix - on aurait tout de même préféré une double porte dans la chambre afin d'isoler efficacement le bruit des voisins indélicats. Le personnel de chambre gagnerait à être sensibilisé sur l'importance de ne pas converser à voix haute dans les couloirs, particulièrement en présence de clients. Pour le reste, un très bon choix pour une halte confortable.

Este alojamiento esta situado en pleno centro de Pau, con lo que tiene sus cosas buenas y sus cosas algo menos buenas. Al ser una ubicación totalmente central, estás doblando la esquina a la principal plaza y el ayuntamiento, tienes a mano varios sitios para comer algo. Hay un pequeño supermercado entorno a la plaza, no es el que mejor precio ofrece, pero abren los domingos y está cerca para abastecer el apartamento. Los apartamentos son de un buen tamaño, cómodos para una o dos personas. Están totalmente equipados, tienen todo lo necesario para pasar unos días. La limpieza es buena, aunque hay marcas del uso en los muebles (algo inevitable), por parte de la limpieza todo está bien. Las camas son bastante cómodas, pudiendo elegir entre 2 individuales o una grande, que realmente es una cama grande. En otros sitios encuentras dos camas pequeñas juntas. El wifi funciona a buena velocidad. El personal trabaja de manera eficiente y amable. Parte del personal habla varios idiomas de manera fluida. No gustó · El llegar en coche es un poco engorroso, la parte no tan buena de estar en el centro. Necesitas unos códigos para bajar la barrera, ya que el hotel se encuentra en una calle peatonal. Llamas por un interfono a la policía municipal, les dices el código y te abren. El parking, plazas muy limitadas (8 creo recordar) también tiene una entrada algo justa para los coches actuales. los utilitarios pequeños van bien, pero los SUV medios, monovolumenes...que es lo más común actualmente no les sobra mucho para entrar por el acceso.

Un vrai bon deux étoiles. Bien sûr la façade hors d’âge avec ses volets cassés fait peur, tout comme l’entrée et l’accueil. Pourtant la chambre était spacieuse et fonctionnelle, bien que vieillotte. Bien sûr une rénovation de tout l’hôtel s’imposerait. Le pdj est très faible, mais au moins il n’est facture que 7 euros. Bref rien n’est cosy, neuf, joli mais c’est fonctionnel, grand et propre avec un prix adapté en conséquence. Accueil correct sans plus. Une impression d’accès non sécurisé aux chambres donc enfermez vous bien. Le veilleur ne veut pas qui accède à l’ascenseur. Choisir une chambre sur l’arrière. Celles donnant sur la place peuvent être bruyantes un samedi soir d’été.
