Just returned from a three nights vacation at Taj Rishikesh. We had an amazing experience at the property. Location is beautiful, serene and far from the maddening crowd. View of mighty Ganges from my room’s balcony was exhilarating. When it comes to hospitality, Taj can never go wrong. The staff there is courteous, helpful and ever willing to make you feel comfortable. Food is extraordinarily tasty. A very talented Santoor player from Kashmir, enlivens the atmosphere every morning and evening. Kudos to the hotel for promoting Indian artists.

Such an incredible experience, thanks largely to the staff who made every moment feel calm, cared for, and exceptional. My two friends and I came to stay here after not realizing that we had come to Rishikesh during a huge pilgrimmage and the traffic was going to be intense in the town itself. We came to the Taj and were greeted by the kindest staff who helped us find new ways to enjoy the area despite the crowds and monsoon. The drivers took us all around the area and showed us incredible sights. It was an unforgettable stay -- the food was delicious, the sights were so incredible, and the resort itself is strikingly beautiful. Also this hotel's pool may be the most incredible I've ever seen!

I don’t think I can properly express how amazed I was with this resort. Every single detail screams perfection from the staff to the food to the surroundings. I’ll be dreaming of this place often. The food needs special mention. The breakfasts were incredible. The lunches perfect. Dinner at both restaurants exceeded all expectations. Special thanks the Akshay for making sure we enjoyed our time at the poolside restaurant. I definitely recommend the villas that are closer to the spa for a lovely secluded retreat. What a place.

Loved the resort. The solitude and silence will pull you inside. We stayed just for a day, words fall short of the mesmerising experience. We had our dinner at the Pahari cuisine restaurant. Food was really tasty and healthy. Mr Ravindra Chauhan had guided us through the entire culinary experience. I would highly recommend this place.

This resort is awesome! What a great place to spend 5 days with the family! We had a great time exploring the resort, steam baths, massages, pool, bars, Ganga river side, and the staff was amazing! Akshay at the River Side was always attentive to our pool side needs! Chandan was always helpful for picking excellent menu items, and making sure our tea and coffee were hot! Divya was an awesome yoga instructor, we loved our daily yoga challenges, and greeting the mornings with her smile and beautiful voice and guidance was a highlight of our family time together! Thank you to all the staff at this resort! We loved it and would highly recommend it for those seeking some time in nature and pampering yourselves in luxury and peace!

Absolutely one of the best location among any Taj we have visited. Nicely curated and very well located next to Ganges with its own secluded beach. The staff is one of the best and the restaurant is great too. Excellent service by each and every member of the team. Evening Ganga Aarti is a great experience. We decided we will come here again for a longer stay. Special thanks to Ram Menon and Sunder Rawat for the care and courtesy. Also Chandan and Tanu for taking care of us in the restaurant. You folks rock.
